What Is The Truth In This Scenario

Worst case scenario for failing AP Exams? the truth??

You don't have to send your scores to colleges.

The AP exams are simply a way to determine if you can test out of specific courses your hopeful college may offer. One of the top students in my school dropped out of all his AP exams because Stanford doesn't accept the credit. It doesn't matter if he fails.

Failing an AP exam is not that big of a deal. It's just one test. Maybe you had a bad day, a bad teacher, wasn't really your forte from the beginning, who knows. Again, it's one test.

When presented with a truth or dare scenario, which option do you primarily select, and why?

Karen Marie Shelton this is a very very challenging question for me.On the one hand, - I can't be dared (that is daring me and then I don't do it) - provided it's not going to hurt someone or land me in jail.Public Embarrassment? Nudity? Inappropriate public behavior? Bah Humbug, bought the tee-shirt - teach the course at the learning annex. But truth, is even worse. I'm BEGGING to tell you awful truths about myself, I can bring out the photo album of awful truths, I will play drinking games with awful truths and tell you and everyone else the whole story. So I am a tough example to play Truth or Dare with. It's really not as fun when I don't care and have no trouble truthing or daring.Overall, I'd go with Dare. At least you get to SEE me being a complete idiot, instead of just having to hear about it.

What are the best truth or dare scenarios?

Best truth is religion and god will not give single pound of food. Bake all religions and theirs gods. You will not get a single food stuff. Instead you want to feed these hallucinations devotees and god. One more burden and overhead on humanity.

Do you tell the truth?

Consider the following scenario: You are aware of a problem that is costing your company productivity. This problem is caused by a fellow employee who refuses to use current technology. This employee has asked you to keep the situation to yourself, since he is one year from retirement and does not want to lose his job or have to endure new training. This employee is also very popular with everyone at the company. You have just been asked by your superiors why you think your division is not as productive as it could be. What are the ethical considerations involved in this decision? How should one deal with this kind of ethical ambiguity?

What is private truth?

Truth is simple. It is only when questions like this arise that the attempt to mask truth is brought in to play. To attempt to nuance the fact of a matter, and set it into a “reasonable doubt”, is a rhetorical trick. It is lies, obfuscations, corruption, rhetoric, and other lawyerese that attempts to hide the truth, no to reveal it. e.g. if a criminal defense lawyer knows his client is guilty (private truth) and in fact he has committed many murders and the evidence is overwhelmingly accurate, the ‘public truth’ he attempts to instill in a jury or judge’s mind by imagining scenarios that alternately can be entertained by the listeners is one such rhetorical feint. And these men and women who practice it are responsible for the killings the freed criminal commits when not convicted, the enormous expense of keeping killers in prison for life,To tell the truth to oneself (the sky only appears to be blue, but it is merely the reflection of earth, off the stratosphere) and then turn around and tell someone, “no the sky does not appear to be blue, it is black”, and leave out the important point of reflection, and the usage of the word ‘appears’, is another. If the truth is private (a secret that only you know) and what is told to the public is something different, then it is a lie. Ergo, there is no such thing as private truth.

How true is the placement scenario in IIMs as depicted in this link?

This article had gone viral several months back and is unfortunately, true. I am sure that my answer will get downvoted into obscurity but I just hope that at least a few people can see it before taking the leap.Unfortunately, the article is true. Placement figures are bloated and the process is far from fair. Mis-reporting not limited to numbers, even profiles on offer are blatantly lied about. At my college (another old IIM), Standard Chartered offered a "Sales" role (just to be clear, it was a very good profile et al, but at the end of the day it was a sales role and had nothing to do with finance). To our utter amazement Stan C was reported as offering a corporate finance profile!Further reading:Fair warning to IIM aspirants from an IIM student - InsideIIM.comReal truth now a days - IIMs salaryIIM-Calcutta ExposedBefore you leave your IIT placement to chase big bucks, please give it a serious thought. Sure, peer learning and case-based studies are fun, but churning out a loan of 20L+ is not.

What is the importance of truth in our lives?

Truthfulness is the greatest and most important of all human virtues. Truthfulness means to speak the truth habitually. A truthful man will never tell a lie. He always says what he means. He acts as he says. He does not tell a lie even in jest.Truthfulness is important to build up the character of a man. A man whose character is not good is not loved by anybody. So we should always speak the truth. Our society cannot exist if we all be liars. A truthful man keeps his word. So, people depend upon what he says. They give him responsible work. A truthful man has strength of mind. He is not afraid of any body. He is never ready to suffer by speaking the truth. A truthful man attains success in business. He may be poor, but he lives a peaceful and happy life, because he knows that he is pure in mind and he is right. In fact, the word of a truthful man has great value. Sometimes his words carry more weight than documents. A truthful man, on the other hand, has a clear conscience and does not fear anybody. So his mind is free from the anxiety that constantly troubles a liar. Even his enemies respect him, and this respect is more important than any costly Jewel. As truthfulness is a great virtue, truthfulness is a great voice. A liar is hated by all. Nobody believes him. He may gain success for a short time but in the long run he is bound to suffer. Nobody helps a liar. Nobody gives him any responsible work. He cannot shine in business. If a merchant or a shopkeeper tells a lie, people will not deal with him anymore. A liar does not lead a peaceful life. He is always afraid of being found out. He knows that he is not doing a good thing by telling a lie. We all know the story of the shepherd boy. He used to tell a lie. As a result he met his death for it.Ancient Indians were noted for their truthfulness. We know the examples of Judhisthira and Harishchandra. Harishchandra sacrificed everything for the sake of truth. It is, therefore, the duty of every person to practice truthfulness front childhood.
