What do you think has been the worst horror movie of 2018?

It’s still in the middle of 2018. We have a long list of upcoming horror movies.I predict “Slender Man” will be the worst. Of course we have to wait for it in August, if they won’t delay the release date.I don’t like “Hellraiser : Judgement”, but it’s a low budget horror based on low budget horror franchise from the 80s. So what am I expecting, anyway?

Rank the Friday The 13th movies best to worst?

Hands down, the one in space was the worst.

What is the best sequel to a horror movie?

As others have stated, my hands-down answer to the best horror movie sequel is Aliens. What makes the film special is that it takes the original story (single killer alien on a ship) and expands the story to be more of a war movie (squad of Marines sent to investigate and ultimately battle dozens of aliens).Notice that not only does the poster refer to it as “war,” but writer/Director James Cameron is even on record as saying he specifically crafted the script as a war movie inspired by Vietnam. In addition to being truly scary, the film stands out as best-in-class for its special effects, production values and acting (Sigourney Weaver received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her role).Final Destination 2I adore this movie for one simple reason:The writers have a sense of humor. The film takes the premise of the original film (Death stalks a bunch of survivors who _should_ have perished in a catastrophic accident) and expands on it by giving us more diversity among the characters. More importantly, the actual deaths are cleverly staged to be *just off* of what we expect — adding to both the suspense and humor.Scream 2Others have mentioned this classic, but without explaining why. Scream and Scream 2 belong to sub-genre of films that both satirize and abide by the rules of a particle genre. This is really hard to do well.Scream was groundbreaking because it was filled with characters who grew up on the 80s horror movies and, having seen them, knew the rules one must abide by to survive. They also fought back. Despite satirizing the whole slasher genre, it was a scary, gory horror movie in its own right. In addition, the use of Drew Barrymore was a refreshing (and surprising) twist at the time.As good as Scream was, however, Scream 2 goes even further by satirizing sequels. And now our surviving characters are at film school, thus they’re experts in the rules of a sequel. Not only that, but there’s a major movie being filmed of the events of the first film, so we get to see the banter and criticism of the characters as they learn who (from Hollywood) will portray them in this movie-within-a-movie.Brilliance.

What are the best to worst Hellraiser movies in order?

As one of the more popular franchises of horror films from Britain, the ‘Hellraiser’ series of films, which has been there for the last 3 decades since 1987, is generally considered as an important indicator that a whole alternate-cinema franchise can be capable of being more popular than American Hollywood outings. It is also a franchise that has spawned the term ‘Hellraiser’ and this is now applied to a whole genre of films in which the villain or antagonist would create ‘hell’ literally by his or her heinous actions. You can check the list of Best Hellraiser Movies to get a good idea of the films that feature these ‘Hellraiser’ antagonists. On a different note, I would like to rank the nine films of the ‘Hellraiser’ franchise as below:1- Hellraiser (1987)Clive Barker’s original entry in the series is hailed today as one of the definitive horror films to come from Britain in the 80s and the spine-chilling scares and awesome cinematography have gone a long way in cementing that reputation.2- Hellbound: Hellraiser 2 (1988)While not as iconic or seminal as the first film, Tony Randel’s sequel was worthy as a sequel because it did deliver a lot of punch when it came to effectively creepy chills, thrills and spills.3- Hellraiser: Inferno (1996)Again, this is no match for Clive Barker’s punk classic but at least, it had some worthy credentials, being directed by Scott Derrickson who is today recognised as the maker of films like ‘Sinister’ and the recent ‘Doctor Strange’. His touch is evident in the fairly unsettling horror and thriller elements that the film got so right from the original.4- Hellraiser 3: Hell On Earth (1992)This is like a more mainstream and populist version of the horror served in the first film, with more violence and gore packed in to entertain audiences, but compared to the horrible direct-to-video sequels that followed, this is still sort of okay as a slasher flick with some mature themes. These are the four films that range from being great to halfway decent. As for the other five films in the series, I wonder why do they even exist. You can compare all these films based on their reviews at BuzzOpinion.com

"The Exorcist" is my favorite horror movie of all time. What is yours?

Rosemary’s Baby, hands down.Husband and wife move to the city. Instead of being a better actor, the husband rents the wife’s womb to the Devil without her consent and *complete* knowledge - in essence selling an unborn baby’s soul to better his career. She bears the son of Lucifer. Basically every Catholic’s worst nightmare. What’s even worse than her neighbours being devil worshippers? They were BEYOND nosy in every aspect of her pregnancy from forcing her to eat certain things to getting involved in her marital arguments with her husband. They even went as far as to send her to a devil worshipping gyno. And if she ever spoke against them they'd treat her like she’s insane. They even take the baby from her when it's born and they don't let her see it.To top it off, her husband was such a coward. She asked him why he did it - his answer? Turning his head in shame because he's too morally weak to acknowledge that he did that to his wife.Talk about having the pregnancy from Hell.
