What Is This Eminem Song

What are some of the best songs by Eminem?

This can be very subjective, but my requirements for best Eminem song includes this:Powerful/emotional messageComplex rhyming schemesGreat use of metaphors/figurative languageAnd maybe speed“The Way I Am” By Eminem includes all of this (except speed :P):Literally the entire song is like this. With every single word (except for the word and, and half of bizarre, but oh well :P) rhymes with other shit in that verse. Like that’s amazing mate, as a rapper trying to make a song like this with strong meaning is extremely difficult. The song is about how his producers are trying to force him to make pop-type albums that will be more mainstream, instead he turns around and makes this. I’ve personally found that making songs like this isn’t just sitting there trying to make the words rhyme but it comes naturally for verses and stuff like this. But when you do it naturally for the entire fucking song, that’s pretty amazing and pretty genius. Literally watch this video, just watch it. Just read those lyrics off of your screen. Not only that but his flow and rhythm on this is perfect.I truly see this as a greater masterpiece than Fur Elise by Beethoven. Fur Elise (in my view at least) isn’t a very emotional song, and of course this is like comparing apples to orangutans (not oranges) but still. Making every word rhyme like this is simply amazing. And if you include the world “and” in the rhyme thing (since he uses it over and over) he is rhyming every word. That’s insane when trying to put together a meaningful song like this, and of this length. It’s amazing. Now there are many examples of him doing this, many of his songs are like this where he rhymes (most) of the words in the song (Till I collapse is another emotional song like this but still not as complete as this one), but no rhyme scheme is quite as amazing or complex as this song, combined with the passion. And he rhymes groups of words with singular words together in the same pattern as well (Which isn’t included in the video). It’s seriously amazing. Now if you’re looking for speed, Rap God ain’t the way to go. Sure he has one verse that’s his fastest (I think?) but Speedom is better for a full 1 minute 40 seconds of Eminem going ape shit on speed LOL. Whole song (which is like 4 minutes I think?) is also pretty great. And if you’re looking for even more complex rhyme schemes without the same level of meaning/speed then check out Underground:But overall? In my opinion it’s The Way I Am.

What inspired Eminem's song "Stan"?

The song Stan was a work of fiction but inspired by true events. There were a lot of fans that would write to Eminem or try to meet him outside of concerts or public places and they would just tell him how much their music meant to them.Good so far . . but that lasted until a lot of them began to take things personally why Eminem didn’t reciprocate or write back to them like it was his duty to do so (it isn’t).Things got ugly with a lot of people as the general perception of Eminem’s songs was taken as to influence people to do a lot of things - people justified violence, drugs and a lot of other things with his music. Now, even if Eminem talks about his childhood, addiction to drugs, broken marriage, the messed up social order or anything else, he is letting his point of view across. People can relate to that because a lot of them go through or experience the same thing. However, that does not mean that Eminem had to be their spokesperson in the public sphere. It also does not mean that Eminem is/was answerable to everyone’s request to talk to them or write back to them or just give them advice. Lets not forget that the man did not have an easy life even when he got famous. So, at the end of the day, Stan is about a certain type of fan who relates to Eminem but probably expects too much. Eminem tries his best to connect back with him but he is human after all. It is not possible to reply back or just be around for the fans at their convenience. The song shows that Eminem makes an effort to connect with the fan and in real life, this might be true as well as Em has repeatedly stated how much the fans mean to him. Unfortunately, like in Stan’s case, it might be too late because he could not reach out in time.Ultimately, this song is about the expectations that fans have of artists and their struggle to keep up with it. The song is a fictional masterpiece but it does speak about a lot of truths which strike the listener. One of the reasons this song has remained timeless and still resonates with the listener.
