4 member jpop groups?

My friends and I cover jpop dances but all the girl groups are 5 members. Well, not all but like f(x) (yeah I know, they're korean) and KAT-TUN has 5 but Buono has 3. There's four of us so anyone know any jpop (or kpop) or any asian group really with 4 members that also dances? Plz&TY

What are all of the songs from NewS? ( jpop group )?

What are some J-pop groups that you like?

I usually like to listen to solo singers but I do like couple of groups too:J Soul Brothers - Wikipedia andE-girls - WikipediaThe reason I dont listen to a lot of groups is because groups are usually not good at singing. If you have listened to their live show, you would know what I am saying. However 三代目 J Souls Brothers and E-girls, they are very good at dancing, which is big plus to me, I had been learning street dancing(Lockin to be specific) back couple of years ago, so I appreciate people who can do real dancing.BTW, Naoto (dancer) - Wikipedia from 三代目 J Souls Brothers and Dream Aya - Wikipedia are my favorite from each group.

What group did get you into Jpop? When was it?

I’ve been a fan of J-Pop ever since I was a little. I love watching anime and remembered trying to memorize all the opening and closing songs (even though I know I’m just spouting non-sense lyrics. Haha!) Before, I haven’t really dug deeper into J-pop (internet is not a thing during my childhood days), and as you grew up your preference on some things just shifts. But recently while trying to finish all seasons of Gintama and Haikyuu!! there are few songs that really got into me. That’s why I tried searching them up and fell in love again. If you like rock bands, I recommend you to listen to these groups and a few of my favorite songs;Spyair. Imagination, Sakuramitsutsuki, Genjou Destruction, Rage of Dust, Some Like it Hot!ONE OK ROCK. The Beginning, Clock Strikes, Mighty Long Fall, We Are, JadedBurnout Syndromes. Hikariare, FLY HIGH!, Sakura CanonRADWIMPS. Sparkle, Zenzenzense, NandemonaiyaThere are way mooooore songs that I want to list here but you may have a different taste so you may explore more genres and artists =)PS. I’m so in love with Spyair and ONE OK ROCK’s vocalist, their voice is just… out of this world <3

What is JPOP?

“J” stands for Japan/Japaneseand we all know what pop is.....When we add the two together we get…..JAPANESE POP!!!We definitely have the right J-Pop right?Gosh…. what have my answers come to…..I think the J-Pop you mean is “Japanese Pop Music”It’s just Pop Music in Japanese, kind of like K-Pop……. but in a different language…..

What are some good Jpop groups? I kind of want to get into Jpop.

Thanks for the A2A, this question is one I would actually answer.Ema Fujita has already given quite a comprehensive list of groups, given that the 48 and 46 groups number into the tens.If you’re planning on specifically following the groups:I kinda disagree with going straight to the 46/48 groups since they’re so different from other conventional groups that it’ll be very difficult to get used to them from the get-go. I think it’ll make more sense to look at groups which a smaller in size (and not the close to or exceeding 50 members) giant groups.I don’t know that many small groups that are easy to get into for western audiences, but you should try looking in SHOWROOM for a group you like. Showroom is a place where content producers in Japan livestream, including basically every idol group. There’s a section for idols so you can check various groups out. Different idol groups have different atmospheres and concepts so you could gain a rough understanding of the group and whether to follow it.If you’re just in for the music,Yes, Keyakizaka46 is one of the most outstanding groups at the moment with tons of good songs, so you can consider. I also recommendAimerKeyAmatsukiwhich are apparently Jpop groups according to a website.

What are some good J-Pop groups/soloists?

Thanks for the A2A. This was just asked of me last week. Here’s the answer I gave. Now, first off, my knowledge of Jpop is likely a bit dated by now. All of it is still fairly easily found on YouTube, but IMO Jpop is VERY poorly represented on most music streaming apps.Pop:BoA (Korean artist, who sings in Korean, Japanese, Chinese and English). Had a huge start in Japan, and (in my opinion) is known more as a Jpop artist than anything elseNamie Amuro, Crystal Kay, Sowelu, Koda Kumi, Ayumi Hamasaki, Ami Suzuki, Emyli, : Pretty solid female solo artists with a good range and amount of music. All solidly pop (Namie is known as the ‘queen of hip-pop’ in Japan (or was)). Kumi is often a bit more sexual than others.I know there are some good guy ones, but wasn’t as into them at the time.Rap/Hip-hopM-Flo … My first and foremost. Probably one of the most prolific artists focused on having other artists join in. They had a double-album specifically for a variety of other artists doing songs with them.Rhymester, Soul’d Out are two more for the men’s sideHeartsdales, Miss Monday for the female side.Rock:X-Japan has some really fun stuff. (really old though).Doping PandaCrossover:Back-On… Kind of a Japanese version of Linkin Park. rap/rock.There’s so many more that I’m forgetting.

What are your favorite J-pop girl groups?

im not really sure myself how to answer this.first i really like idol group Nogizaka46 but i dont really dig the music that much by discography —usually stand for mainstream music in general, tho’ there’s few standout exception ofc like Perfume —Imo, they just have all of this from the most beauties, the most interesting, unique and lovable characters-onscreen personalities but also the one that tend to be more modest, elegant image. speaking of which against their contemporaries like AKB48, Morning Musume, Momoiro —etc— the impression..and probably have one of the best tv shows on earth, period - k my bias just showed -In the end for me the group “sell” more entertainment-wise than the music itself.Well i dont want to lead this to be completely “downplay” the quality, so here some that best, good and fine tunes performed by the groupSayonara no ImiInochi wa UtsukushiiInfluencermeanwhile, while i didnt have any particular favorite, chika idol groups (underground, indie idol group) tend to have more interesting sound, to certain extent. Few brief tunes and arrangement,Task Have FunYou’ll Melt MoreDotstokyo
