What Is This Movie Called A Girl Who Is In Highschool She Maybe A Cheerleader And These Bullies Are

Bullied for being a cheerleader?

Hi! I will be starting my freshmen year of high school in a few weeks. I'm really scared. Recently joined the cheer team and everyone hates the cheer team, all the older girls on my team say that u will get something said to you about being a cheerleader (something rude or mean). My middle school years were really hard and I got depressed from it and had to see a counselor from 6th-8th grade, and have now stopped. I want this to be a new experience, a better experience but I'm afraid it wont be. We have to wear our uniforms to school every Friday to promote the football game so there is no way of escaping the things people will say. My cheermate has already been receiving hate for being a cheerleader n her ask.fm before school has even started! People don't like the cheerleaders at my school because our school is really good at sports and the cheer team isn't as good because a lot of people want to be on the dance team instead because the dance team is really good. Also, can you please give me some freshmen advice and how to handle the things people will say? Thank you so much.

Are American high schools anything like the movies?

First. Yes jocks do get the most respect, but that's expected as they have to commit their time and are the face of many schools reputation in competitions. Cheerleaders are not all mean, but you'll see an occasional stereotypical one here and there. This is all from a public school perspective and one that is more academic based. I'm not sure about private schools. The food is trash as typical. There are groups, but they aren't all that selective and mean. Many times the most popular kids can be the nicest ones.

Why don't girls date the nerdy shy guys in high school?

Women don’t like shy guys. The problem isn’t exactly about being nerd. I mean there are cool nerds. You can be a logical and smart guy and have girls. But if you are shy around women then you are in trouble.Because of society norms, at least in most countries, girls still expect guys to make the first move.If you are too shy to do it then it’s very… very hard for you to meet girl. As girls very, “rarely” approach guys. Also they never invite guys out.I am in my thirties now. For many years, I had problems meeting women because I was shy. I can tell you, “I never ever had a single girl asking me out”.Actually, I only realized this a few days ago. Yes, I had a few cases of women approaching me. I can even count those situations with my fingers. But asking me out, never!I guess you are young… so that is the reality.Despite whatever women say, I bet some women here will tell you that they love shy and nerdy guys. Even if they are saying the truth, or probably being polite and not trying to hurt your feelings. The fact is most women don’t like shy guys.So if you are shy then it is a harsh and muddy road ahead. Fortunately, shyness isn’t a terminal disease or something. You seriously need to force yourself to get outside of the box.By starting being more bold with girls.A thing you can try doing… is… walking down the street and start asking girls for time. Once you get comfortable with this, ask for directions. Afterward, say, “hi” to them, etc… and strike a conversation from there.Of course, you don’t need to do all of these in a single day. Do one for a week until it feels boring, then pass to the next exercise. You can also search online for social freedom exercises.I did this in the past to overcome my social anxiety and shyness. It helps a lot!As I said, the problem isn’t being nerdy. You have women for all types of men. But the real issue is being shy. Also I must remind you that most girls, even though they may talk loud with their friends, around guys they tend to be shy themselves.

Should i hire my highschool bully?

Recently i got a promotion. I am 24 years old and have just become the youngest VP in my Advertising firm's history. with my promotion my job will get a lot harder and with that i will need an assistant, just someone to take care of my little, less important stuff. while i was looking at the list of people applying for the job i noticed a name that was familier, and it hit me that she was my high school bully. When i was in highschool i was: overweight, frizzy haired, and still had braces. my bully, lets call her Jamie, was head cheerleader, popular, and someone everyone wanted to be. she used to always tease me about everything and i remember i always ran home crying. highschool wasnt fun for me and i can honestly say it was the worst 4 years of my life. but once i went to Yale, i lost all the weight, changed my hair, i started smiling more, met my future husband and i became a more confident and happy person. Anyway, i interviewed Jamie and it turns out she is a single mother of 3 and her life has spirolled down hill since highschool, after the interview she broke down crying and begged me to give her the job and she apoligized for what she did to me in highschool. im not the type of person to keep grudges, so i do accept her apology, but idk if i should hire her. if i dont hire her, she might lose her house, but if i do hire her i guess i could have a little fun with it. all my assistent would do is take my phone calls, do the paperwork i dont feel like doing and fetch me coffee when ever i ask. if you were in my shoes, what would you do?

Why cant high school be like the movies?

And in the movies, everyone has a coming-of-age experience too. The nerd has his/her first kiss, the wimp learns to stand up to the bully, the bully gets a taste of his own medicine or gets dissed by a girl, the dumb jock learns to love someone sincerely, etc. etc. In real life, a lot of these people never learn their lessons. At least not in high school.

LOL, I like how Gigget is idiotic enough to call you a "loser". He/she sounds like he/she belongs in one of those high school movies. The bully or the popular kid who gets beat up in the end. I'm telling you Gigget, it's coming to you :)

I'm 15 and moving to america and i need some info about the schools?

Schools can differ from one another but I can tell you what mine is like.
We have no uniforms but a dress code. Shorts have to extend past your fingers when your arms are down and all shirts must cover your back, no cleavage or inappropriate holes, and any tank tops must have straps that are 2 fingers or wider.
We have 7 classes and a advisory in the morning to get everything around. Our breaks between classes are 3 min and our lunch is 20 min. Each class is an hour long and you can't carry any bags or purses during school.
Elementary school usually goes from ages 5/6-10/11, middle school usually goes from ages 11/12-13/14, and high school usually goes from ages 14/15-17/18.
Also if you know what school you are going to they may have a web sight about it and they should show you the ropes when you get there.
Good luck and hope I helped!

Any good movies about bullying... or maybe getting revenge on bullies?

Revenge of the Nerds is what immediately comes to mind.
There's multiple versions, the one I've seen is about a group of nerds who are bullied by the jocks and cheerleaders at their university and then get revenge in multiple ways....two examples include them installing hidden cameras in the cheerleaders' sorority house so they can watch the cheerleaders undress, and them putting some sort of chemical that really burns on the jocks' athetic supporters.
