Did the Breath of Fire games go criminally under appreciated?Did Nintendo make simultaneously the worst business decision and best business decision ever by cutting Sony out and making a deal with Phillips (sort of a, Shrödinger, deal, if you will)? Was Legend of Dragoon the game most deserving of a sequel but didn’t get it likely because everyone and their dog had Final Fantasy on the brain? Was Parasite Eve also criminally underrated?!I think you see where I’m going here by now, lol.There are two systems, in my opinion, that really stand at the top for gaming. The SNES, and the PS1. Now, I give the PS2 the respect it’s due, and some of my favorite games/franchises were released during the 360/PS3 era, but so many amazing games dropped during SNES/Genesis, PS1/64 that it’s hard to argue the efficacy of developers when it came to games they were releasing. So many tropes were established, deconstructed, questioned, cemented. Ideas were tried, risks taken. I will lovingly refer to these years as the Golden Years.From Final Fantasy Tactics, to Legend of Legaia; from Resident Evil to Parasite Eve;from Persona 2 to Suikoden II;Soul Reaver, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasies VII, VIII and IX,Tomb Raider, Silver Star Harmony (technically this is a port),Bushido Blade, Tenchu (made by From Software, incidentally), Grandia, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Cool Boarders….I have no qualms about booting up my PS1 or an emulator to get into some of the best games ever made.

In this game you catch made up fish. Like there is a map where you go to this ancient lake and catch mummy fish.. At the end of the game you catch a fish and it turns into a T-Rex. This game is for PS1. I think it was something like monster fishing.. But it was not Monster BASS fishing. I know that for a fact. Thanks :)

hi everyone there were two games that have been looking for in a long time and they were a huge part of my childhood so any help to find them would be very much appreciated. the first game was a racing game that had a mode which you had to jump from a height and as soon as you would touch the ground the game would stop and your jump length would show. the second game was a plane fighter game that had planes that could transform into robot like things. thank you very much

WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role is still one of the best wrestling games I’ve ever played on any console. In fact, I loved the game so much that even years after retiring my PS1, I kept playing it on a PC, using emulators.The create a wrestler mode in this game is still a marvel to look at. Any and every real life wrestler could be made, and quite accurately. The game included hidden movelists for a number of wrestlers, and they could be created easily, too.It had an awesome roster with people who rarely appeared in later games, e.g. Viscera, Gangrel, Al Snow, the whole Radicalz squad (Malenko, Saturn, Eddie and Benoit), Cactus Jack, Funaki, Taka and many others.This is also (probably) the last game where you could pit male wrestlers against female wrestlers without making it a mixed gender tag team match.The season mode was long, exciting and it also had a lot of fun things to do. There were cut scenes, random encounters and many other things that makes modern day wrestling games like WWE2k19 fun.Oh wait, it also had tables and ladders match, weapons under the apron, table finishers, backstage brawls (in multiple areas) and Hardcore matches.I’d still pay money to play it, simply for the roster.

Suikoden 2 with Suikoden 1 saved data.Suikoden 2 has decent story with how two heroes ended up being the leader of two opposing sides. Also, collecting up to around 110 heroes were quite unique refreshing idea at that time, while most PS1 RPG only have around 3 to 10.With Suikoden 1 saved data, the main hero from Suikoden 1 can be recruited and his stats and True Rune are on par with the Suikoden 2 main hero. There also three endings for this game depending on the player choice. Lastly, there is a glitch to get to the max level fast.

You can't.Simply put, PlayStation 2 games expect a certain level of processor power that the Playstation1 simply doesn't have.There are a huge amount of other factors like different architecture, package format that also makes this impossible.

GameStop will NOT take them back. also, we stopped taking them a LOT longer than this past June. I should know, I started working at GameStop in April. we haven't taken them for trade in over a year, maybe even 2. but I know it's been more than 3 months or a year. try pawn shops or see if you can find a privately owned game store. or, try selling them on eBay.
