What is this rattling noise under my car?
When i drive my car on the highway or rev the engine i here this rattling noise under my passenger side seat. Sound like something metal is tapping against the bottom of my car but sounds like its coming from under the passenger side. What can it be?

My car makes a rattling noise when it is in park?
Maybe your exhaust tail pipe is vibrating against the frame of your car. That can happen for several reasons including bad motor or transmission mounts or the need for exhaust work. It shouldn't keep you from driving the car until you can have it put up on a lift and checked out.

mustanger: I already use the mid grade gas, not the lowest but the second up....89 or something like that, can I do anything else...I think it comes from the left part of the engine...I never really opened the hood for this particular problem...I'll do that tomorrow...hopefully it's something I CAN fix...I just got the car 2 weeks ago
