What Is This Setup.exe File

Can i edit setup.exe file to change the expiry time?

No.

How do you run .exe files on a Mac?

By default and concept you can not do this natively, .exe files are designed only to run on Windows systems. If by any chance you need to run one on MAC (which i don't recommend cause is messy). You can do about 3 main things.Install an emulator like WINE or some others in the market. I have done this myself and the result depends pretty much in the kind of application you emulate and the WINE config., sometimes is ok, most times has some bug or problem.Install a Virtual Machine software on MAC and load a Windows VM, inside it you can run whatever Windows app you like. But Technically you wouldn't be running it on MAC but on Windows, it is like a workaround.Create an extra partition on your hard drive and make MAC and Windows run together installing both, this can also work, but you would be using 2 OS This compatibility issues affect mostly users. I understand companies want to keep it separated but the final user suffers the consecuences. I personally consider that nowadays Mac is an OS to work, cool but somehow still limited, if you're a programmer I recommend Mac. But if you want an OS to do anything, work, play games, all kind of stuff, then you need Windows (besides modularity is a major topic, I can customize hardware components). On the other hand Windows tends to have more bugs.

Need link of setup.exe file for crysis3.?

if you have the game installed, there is no need to copy that file (unless your using a crack).
avast is reporting it as infection (correctly), because it either IS infected or because its a crack (and the "code" looks like a virus to a "good" av-scanner)...
you can tell avast to disable the av-scanner till reboot (right click on avast), then copy the file and reboot directly...

of course there is a chance the file really is infected, so do on your on risk...

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion setup.exe File?

When I put the disk of Oblivion into the computer, and it doesn't start automatically. In the manual, it states to run the setup.exe file, well, there's a problem. I have about 200 setup.exe files in my computer, and I'm not sure which one I need to run Oblivion. I tried a few of them, and none of them seemed to help. Does anyone have a download link to a setup.exe file that will install Oblivion properly?

Thanks in advance! :D

How to join multiple setup.exe into one?

You would need a program that would be able to create installers.

Here are some free options:

Nullsoft's NSIS (Which is script based). You can get this here: http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page

Inno Setup, which can be downloaded from here: http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php

Paid options:

InstallWizard, you can check out this program here: http://www.digitalweb.com.br/installwizard/

Hope that helps.

Obviously, though the free programs can do what you want, they require a bit more work on your part. They aren't as simple as paid products.

How do you run setup.exe on Windows?

As the question is already answered, I imagine that there is some problem opening setup.exe file which may be due to compatibility issue. This may sometime be solved by right clicking on the file and do “troubleshoot Compatibility”. In case no success, one should know the version of file is not compatible at all.

I'm unable to run any setup.exe files. I can't run the new ones nor the old ones that used to work, what could I do about it?

I'm going to make the assumption you are using some version of windows here.Restore your system to an older dateTo launch System Restore in Windows 7 or Vista, click Start, type system restore, and press ENTER. In XP, select Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. In windows 10 hold your mouse cursor over the power button and in the popup menu choose restart. Once the computer restarts you will have a blue screen with a number of selections the one you want to click on says Trouble Shoot and then in the next screen choose Advanced Options and then System Restore. There may be a check box that says "Show More" and you will want to click that to get all your system restore points. The restore point you want to select is the one you are most sure happened before you started having this problem. The benefits of going back a little farther than you should outweigh the drawbacks so don't be afraid here (updates will always reinstall anyway).

What is the setup.exe process in Windows and how do you find the file?

Setup.exe commonly refers to the installer for that application. Most windows installations, the setup is contained in the main folder used to install the application. On a CD or DVD generally in the root folder. Since EXE refets to a program that is executed, how it is used varies based on how the creator chose to use it. For CD/DVD media it is sometimes picked up by Windows and offered to you as a choice (popup) alert to guide you to the program itself. Finding it in windows you can perform a search from within Explorer.

Why "Made Man" game for pc dvd setup.exe file won't run?

There could be a few reasons why, did you check the discs for scratches? If it isn't on a disk, it might just be a faulty or corrupted file. Also, check your graphics card in google, see if you can play Made Man using it, also check the amount of empty memory you have on your disk drive, because even if the program is downloaded, it wont have enough space to run.
