What Is This Sharp Pain I Get In My Butt

What is this sharp pain right above my butt crack?

I have been working out for about a week now. A few days ago I have developed this thing I cant put it into to many details right above my butt crack. Its a sudden sharp pain when I spread my cheeks but its ok when I push them together. I think its a sist or however you spell it. I have now been keeping it clean and watching it. It is slowly getting better in the last day but still irritates me. What should I do and what could it be? I am very scared and as most I am not a fan of the doctors.

Sharp pains in my butt hole?

recently I have been getting sharp pains in my butt hole. I go to the YMCA every week to run track and shoot baskets. One time when I was running my butt hole had that pain really bad. Sometimes it hurts when I'm excercising and sometimes it's at night.

Sharp pain in lower abdomen and butt?

Two days ago I woke up at 6:30 am to pee and when I got up I had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen (around my bladder) and in my butt. It was so bad I could barely walk without bending over.

I have had this pain twice before and it got better if I could make a bowel movement. So I tried to sit on the toilet a little longer but can't push without the pain getting worse. It was so bad I was crying. I have a high tolerance for pain so when I'm in this much pain it really scares me.

The more I push the pain would get worse so in a few hours the pain got better but I was still uncomfortable. If I sat normally, it would hurt but if I hunched down a little in a chair it would go away.

I have been having a lot of bowel movements and it hasn't been diarrhea, just a regular healthy bowel. I have had over 5 movements in the past 2 days.

Every time I try to use the bathroom the pain worsens, especially when pushing.

I have been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, but since getting diagnosed a few years ago I have not gone back to the gastroenterologist because things haven't worsened (they've actually gotten better now that I know what foods upset my IBS).

I would also like to note I have not had any blood or anything unusual in my stools. Also I'd like to note I take fiber supplements almost every day which helps with my IBS so it can help me have more regular, controllable bowel movements.

Should I be concerned? Is constipation this painful sometimes? Its the 3rd time in the last year I've had this pain.

Why do I have sharp pains in my anus?

It could be a tear in the anus from a BM or anal sex, it could be constipation, it could be that anal sex was a bit too rough, it might be hemorrhoids (that's more likely if you're over weight), it could be a urinary tract infection, you could be cramping somewhere up there, or it could be a menstrual cramp (I've had extremely painful ones towards the anus, and I know a girl who passed out on her bedroom floor because of a cramp in that location). If its excruciating, or if it continues for more than a couple days, you should get it checked up on.

P.S. Its really easy to look up more info on some of the conditions that I've mentioned to see if your pain matches any of them. Your description of the pain was a bit too vague to really pinpoint, but I understand not really being able to classify what your pain feels exactly like.

Why am I getting sharp pains on one side of my butt?

Oh, totally a pinched nerve. Sciatic to be specific. That's what Sciatica is. You have to try to get the muscles to relax around it. It's a weird, difficult thing to get rid of. As a man one of the things that helped me was not putting my wallet, or anything, in my back pockets. It sounds silly, but it's huge for me, and that problem specifically. Another thing I didn't learn until later in life was the 'hips above the knees' rule. Especially if you sit a lot for work. Whether you're on a chair, couch, bed, floor, whatever, put something under your butt, so that the line of your hips is above the line of your knees. That's helped my back and posture in general. Good luck.

Have you heard of sharp pain in butt when you ovulate?

During ovulation all sorts of things can happen. Pain in the butt is one of those things - both me and someone I know have experienced this. You can also have headaches I believe, and pain in the vaginal area that feel like a big heavy lead box is suspended from it. This is known as LBS - Lead Box Syndrome (rofl - thats what my family calls it). Anywho, nothing to worry about. Just take some Midol and a Pepsi, and you should be feeling okay for the rest of the day (seriously - the mood enhancers in the Midol and the cafiene in the Pepsi really does something to people! Makes em all calm and stuff lol HILARIOUS!)

Sharp pain in the top part of crack of my butt , what is it?

Your lumbar muscles have tightened up to give you that pain there. You can get rid of it by freeing up those muscles and here's how to do that:
Lower Back, Lumbar:
While sitting place your hands behind your body just above the buttocks and press in on the muscles next to the spine and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your self forward as far as you can. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for another 30 seconds. Move a few inches down and do it again and keep repeating until you reach the end of your tailbone.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

40 weeks pregnant and sharp irregular pains in my butt and lower belly?

That's a tough one because they aren't regular. But many women have stayed at home waiting for regular contractions only to find out they were in labor that whole time and about ready to have a baby.
Is your stomach tightening up at all with these contractions? I remember when I was in labor I had the pains all the way into my thighs like what you are describing. I would call your doctor since you are 40 weeks. The worse that happens is that you go to the hospital and they send you home if you aren't in labor.
But it's better to know than not know. And you may be close with you having the pains every couple of minutes.
