What Is This Thing On My Foot

Giant blister-thing on my foot is really gross- what is it?

Yesterday I noticed a blister on my foot- no big deal, just a little blister right below my ankle on the inside of my foot. I drained it the "right" way (though I know you're technically not supposed to drain them at all), with a sterilized needle, peroxide and plenty of neosporin. Later that day I noticed that it was still full of pus, and so I tried to drain it again but couldn't because it had hardened, so I left it alone. Today proceeded as normal until it started itching like crazy, so I was rubbing my foot on the couch to scratch it (it was a really unbearable itch!) and it broke, and started oozing.

It's mostly cleaned up now, but everywhere around the area is swollen and super tough, which I assume means it's infected. So, is this a blister or maybe a bite? And what do I do about it?
I also have a recently developed abscess on my arm.

Freckle like thing on my foot from a splinter??

mmkay, i thought it was just a coincidence when a very dark (not raised at all) freckle appeared on my foot in the precise location i had a splinter that i did not remove. the freckle appeared about 3 days after i got the splinter. but the other day the same thing happened to my mom with 2 splinters in her thumb. it has been about 8 months since the one on my foot appeared, and it has not gotten any darker, is not painful, and has not gotten any lighter or larger.

it does NOT look like a foreign body granuloma. just a little freckle, about 1 mm across. same with the ones on my moms thumbs.

what is it?? any ideas would be helpful...
could this be an asian thing??

Metal thing around my birds foot?

it is a leg band.I use them on the birds i breed and it can be removed.People use them to keep track of off-spring,records,and somtimes if your bird gets lost(like a collar).I would recremend keeping it on because if your bird does get lost(remember the numbers and letters on it)and you post up LOST posters and your bird is found it will tell you that its your bird.It doesnt hurt them at all,its like a dog or a cat having a collar on.Hope this helps!

I dropped something really hard on my foot and now my toe looks like this. Should I just leave it to heal or go to the doctor?

Am a nurse. I worked years in the urgent care. We have seen many of this.Depending on how hard the object (and how heavy it is), the bone in your toe may not have broken, or cracked. But what is happening is that you’ve hematoma, which is basically a bruise. Normally it’s not a big deal, but you’re bleeding under the toe nail-that is causing the pain.Eventually your toe nail may fall off (but it will sooner or later grow back). To relieve the “pressure” under the toe nail, a doctor will use a paperclip (I am not kidding about this), and quickly poke a hole in it. You’re asking how in the world? He’d light it with a lighter first (until it glows red from the heat). This is not something you should do yourself as it is like trying to give yourself a shot, or draw blood from one’s own arm.At the urgent care that I worked, we use this http://www.liveactionsafety.com/...They will certainly x-ray it to see if the bone of the toe is broken. But guess what? You won’t get a cast or put into one. They will “buddy tape” it. You can use a scotch tape and tape it to the next toe. This will stabilize it.Do not wear regular shoes until you’re healed. Normally you’d be wearing an “ortho” shoe (it’s ugly as hell) on that foot. But really, a good sandel will do. Regular shoe (dress shoe, tennis shoe) will be too tight (to put on and off).Keep the foot elevated and if this is ‘fresh’ injury, ice it. It will help with swelling. If it’s a few days, heat will help with the bruise. For pain - tylenol / advil will do.We had a patient who dropped a bowling ball on his big toe when he was home (no shoes on). His toe kinda exploded. He needed surgery to repair it.Best wishes.

My dog keeps licking my athletes foot is that a bad thing?

My dog found athletes foot on my boyfriend, he had no idea he had it. She wasn't licking it but she would not leave it alone. I wouldn't let the dog lick it. But I did read an article about a man who had a horrible case of athletes foot and nothing he did treated it.Everything the doctors gave did not help and he tried every over the counter treatment he could find but nothing worked and he finally gave up. Everyday he came home from work took off his shoes and put his feet up. His dog would lick his feet and after a few weeks it cleared up because of the dog licking them. I don't know if there is any truth to this story or if it's harmful to the dog but they're mouths are clean.

My vein on my left foot pops up!!! Pls help.?

Ok, this isn't that serious, because it doesn't hurt at all. And nope, it doesn't itch. But a vein on my left foot pops up last night and when walking, it feels like there's a long thing on sticking on to my foot. It doesn't hurt or itch. It's just uncomfortable. How can I make it go away?

How do i tell my GF i have a Foot Fetish?

When you have a good time to, ask her if she would like her feet rubbed and while you are doing it and she is enjoying it, tell her that you really like her feet and then kiss them. Tell her they are beautiful and that they turn you on and leave it at that. let her do all of the talking and only talk if she ask you something. Good Luck.
