What Is Worse A Np Or A W For University Credit

Is it legal to leave a taxi without paying if they are supposed to take credit cards, but the driver claims that the machine is broken? What happens if you just say "credit card or nothing" and threaten to walk away?

I’m not sure if it’s legal or not, but I’ve done it.In my city, cabs are required by law to have credit card machines/accept credit cards. I hailed a cab for a work-related trip across town, and when we got to my destination, I gave him my card, and he said, the reader’s not working, you have to pay cash. I had no cash on my person, as I very rarely carry cash. I asked him to call the cab company/dispatch to get them to take payment over the phone. He initially refused, but finally relented, but when he called them, he told me that they said they couldn’t take payment over the phone, which I’m certain was bullsh!t.I told him, listen, I don’t have any cash and you are required by law to accept credit cards, so you need to figure out a way to charge my credit card. Then he said, you can go into that liquor store over there to use the ATM to get cash to pay me. And I was like, Aw, hell no!!! I am not paying $5 in ATM fees so that I can pay you for a $7 cab ride, when you are REQUIRED BY LAW to accept credit cards. You find a way to charge my credit card, or I’m not paying.Well, he started cursing at me and verbally abusing me, calling me a b!tch and all other names, and I was like, all right, I’m getting out of this cab and walking away without paying.Edited to Add: Since that day, I refuse to take cabs. Now, I only use Uber or Lyft.

Can I recover my marks after very bad mid semester examinations to get 8.5+ CGPA in Thapar University?

Yes, but keep in mind that scoring in Midsem is way more easy than scoring in Endsem.Plus if you have a rough midsem, Don’t worry. Most of the Courses have nearly 30–40 marks worth of sessionals and that’s a huge factor. For example:- I mainly aim for a CGPA of 8. So what i do is, score nearly 60% in MidSem, above 80% an sometimes even 90% in sessionals and then i don’t even worry about the EndSems anymore.CALCULATIONS:-Assume we have a 25 marks Midsem, 40 marks Sessionals and a 35 marks Endsem.0.6*25 = 150.8*40 or 0.9*40 = 32 or 36and at worse0.3*35 = 10.5So, I easily manage like 60+ and that fetches me minimum of B in any course. But if you are aiming for 8.5 just turn the multiplier of Endsem from 0.3 to 0.6 and you’re set.

Can you get an internship position without being a student?

I dislike questions that begin with "Can you...." or "Is it possible that ..."  Unless the question is "Is it possible that the sun will rise in the west tomorrow" the answer is almost always - Yes, it is possible - or Yes, you can.Yes, it is possible you can get an internship position... But keep in mind, the common understanding is that internships are for students. One definition is "the position of a student or trainee who works in an organization, sometimes without pay, in order to gain work experience or satisfy requirements for a qualification."I have hired interns at 4-5 companies and the intent was always to hire someone in a particular academic program (in my case, usually computer science) with the hope that the student will gain good practical experience and - if the fit is right for both parties - become a full-time employee upon graduation. In my industry, we would not hire an intern who was not a student since most full-time positions require a bachelor's degree.

Are The Bahamas a U.S. territory or does the U.S. own them?

The Commonwealth of The Bahamas is NOT NOR HAVE WE EVER BEEN a U.S. territory or owned by the U.S. EVER.We were a colony of Great Britain (United Kingdom) since the early 18th century and remained a British colony until July 10, 1973 when we became a sovereign nation with our own constitution and laws and the right to govern ourselves. The Commonwealth of The Bahamas elects its government every five years and our parliament has sat, uninterrupted, since 1729. We are connected, if you will, with the United Kingdom through the Commonwealth of Nations, of which Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is the head.As such, U.S. citizens must have a valid U.S. passport with an valid visa to travel to my country as required by The Bahamas government.Similarly, a Bahamian citizen must have a valid Bahamian passport with an valid visa to travel to the United States as required by the U.S. government.I hope this clears up any confusion for you.

I'm an 18-year-old man who's never had a girlfriend, I've never had sex and I've never dated nor have I kissed a girl. Is that bad, fine or normal for a man of my age?

Things can turn around fairly quickly... I was overweight in high school, shy, never kissed a girlI went to college, had lost weight, felt more comfortable with my college classmates.Went to a college party, saw a girl struggling with a window, helped her with it, she chatted with me for few minutes, asked me if I wanted to go outside (to fool around).I was a bit anxious (first kiss), and she (nicely) suggested I wasn't very good at kissing yet... I confessed my lack of experience, she kindly viewed it as a project. We went to third base, and she observed I was much improved.Couple of months later I met another girl on vacation, we hit it off , and promptly had sex (although, when I mentioned afterwards it was my first time,  she said  she found it hard to believe "as you knew exactly what to do", and I seemed to be very concerned with her having a good time)In both of the cases, the encounter happened at least partially because I was able to have a comfortable conversation with the girl in question about a topic that interested them (Books in both cases. I think it was about 19th century Russian novelists, in the second case).

In the US Army, where should I turn in my college transcript after AIT?

Once you are already enlisted your college transcripts will not help with promotion until you are either eligible for SGT/E5 or if you have a Baccalaureate Degree and want to commission, in which case you should have entered service as a SPC/E4.Once you are eligible for promotion to SGT/E5 your college credits willbe worth promotion points. In order for those college credits to be valid towards promotion points you need to add them to your ERB. You can have them added at anytime after you are in service by going through your S1 or personnel section. Just ask your first line supervisor who should be able to assist you.If you have a Baccalaureate Degree and want to commission, your path will depend on several factors. Either a direct commission into a specific field if you have a qualifying degree specialty such as Medical or Law, or an OCS packet if you have any other degree type. You can reference further information about commissioning here: How to Become an Army Officer. If you had enough college credit for advanced promotion at time of enlistment then your promotion should have been applied before shipping out to Basic Combat Training. To qualify for advanced rank upon time of enlistment you would need either 24 SH for PV2/E2, 48 SH or an AA Degree for PFC/E3, or a BA for SPC/E4. If you qualified for advanced promotion but did not give your official college transcripts to your recruiter before shipping or your recruiter did not apply the promotion, then I am not sure it is possible to have the promotion applied later. You would have to do some research to figure that out.

Why do narcissistic people do good things - out of shame (i.e. being concerned about their image) or guilt?

I still can't believe what people both implicitly and explicitly accuse narcissistic personalities of.  It's unbelievable. The same people shouting out loud that np's are sick accuse them of knowingly acting like arseholes. I just don't get it.  Get real. You can accuse a man with a broken leg of limping when he tries to walk, but how would that make you look? Why do I volunteer? Because it makes me feel good to see other suckers like me having no jobs and struggling even harder to find one, being depending on me to help them, and expect them to say 'thank you sir' when I did? And that I can use this as a cover up so i can go on manipulating and abusing others because i proof i am "such a good person" ? That's obviously what Lisa thinks. No, I simply volunteer because I need to. I need to stay in the process of doing something to not completely loose my rithem. I need to volunteer because otherwise I will get a cut on my government paycheck. And so I do something I am good at. And I do something I like to do. And I like to help people that have bigger problems then I have. Not because the makes me feel superior, but because it makes me feel good that i can actually make a difference. When one of them sends me an e-mail that he or she has found a job that we applied for together, I am genuinely happy for this person. And yes, I feel good about being a part of this little succes. everybody would. What the fuck is wrong with that ?Do I need to be mentioned in the volunteers list at the end of the year? I don't give a shit. Shulamit obviously thinks I care. Well I don't. The handshake or hug i get from the one person out of 100 that does get a job and that is truly meant means tons more to me. My name on a piece of paper, i'd wipe my arse with it. And Jin, I don't even like Brownies. The kids that i help to learn how to read in my sons school like them, but I don't. And they don't even say thank you after making my life hard and try to get them to focus. But I think reading is important. And they need to learn. I get nothing out of it. But I have time and opportunity. So why not do something useful with it. So when they asked me to be a reading 'mum'. I didn't think: "what's in it for me?" I thought. "Sure, why not?"
