What Is Wrong With My Wrist

What is wrong with my wrist?

Okay so I work at Wendy's as a fry cook but I've always had wrist problems when I bend it at all it hurts and if I touch it it hurts if I bend it, there is like a ball sticking out it hurts what can I do?

What is wrong with my wrist?

I was doing backbends, when I attempted a backbend kickover, mission accomplished! I was having so much fun kicking over I didn't noticed my wrist starting to get sore. (my wrist has been hurting in a backbend for the past few weeks) I attempted one more backbend kickover, and right when I got into my backbend, my wrist had a huge sharp amount of pain. I went inside and stretched it, it felt better so I went on carpet and it was ok when I pressed flat on the floor, the same way a backbend goes, but when I actually went in my backbend, a HUGE amount of pain went in my wrist. It's like in between my wrist and hand, and I can do everything with my wrist, it's just stiff, but when I do a backbend, it hurts soooo bad! It's NEVER hurt that bad, and it made me cry! I rarely cry, so it hurt like really bad. I have no clue whats wrong with my wrist, when I flex it back, it feels looser than the other wrist, but it doesn't hurt!!! Any ideas on what's wrong, and what I should do?

What is wrong with my wrists?

It sounds to me just like an overuse injury... tendinitis, or inflammation of tendons in your forearm related to pressing the spray paint nozzle buttons and moving your arm to paint. I'm guessing that your arms aren't used to this kind of activity. If you had instead run a mile when you weren't used to doing that, your legs would be sore today.

So if this is correct, the treatment is the classic RICE treatment.
Rest... your arms, especially wrists. Today would not be a good day to try and use spray paint for another hour or more.
Ice... get ice on the tender areas, up to 15 minutes at a time.
Compression... you don't have to do this for a minor injury, but you could put an Ace bandage on the tender areas to speed the reduction of inflammation.
Elevation/exercise... elevating the forearms will help the extra fluid of inflammation drain back towards your trunk. Once the pain is resolved, which for a minor overuse injury would normally occur in one to three days, you can slowly build up activity in the wrist and hands to prevent this from recurring. (After a point, rest increases the chances for pain, rather than helping reduce it.)

Good luck. If you do these things, I think this will clear up soon for you.

What is wrong with my wrist!?

In early February 2019 I was at the gym. I’ve been going now for about 3 years. 4 days a week religiously. However when I got home from this workout I noticed slight pain in my wrist when I twist it. (Palms up). The next day the pain was much worse an I was barely able to turn it palms up at all. I can’t think of anything I could have done to it at the gym that was out of my normal workout regime. It is now March 11. I haven’t been back to the gym since. I bought a wrist brace wear it most of the day and at night. I recently took the brace off it seems I got some of the mobility back and don’t really have pain.. but something still doesn’t feel right. Has this happened to anybody else? Also. At no point did I have any bruising or swelling of my wrist.

Wrist Pain What Is Wrong?

that's impossible to say. did you injure yourself at all that you can remember? usually there is swelling to accompany a severe injury, and since there isn't any, maybe it was just a small injury. i would take a couple of ibuprofen- they have an anti-inflammitory in them, and that should help with the pain. you can take 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. that should help a bit. if it doesn't get better in a few more weeks, you will have to get a doctor to look at it, even if you have to go to a free clinic somewhere. lets hope the pain pills work. good luck.

My left wrist hurts a lot. What is wrong with it?

That has happened to me before. It happens when you 'sleep on your hand.' You aren't necessarily sleeping on your hand, but the position of your hand is incorrect for the blood to flow properly. Take aspirin for the pain. Aspirin will help the blood flow more easily. It should feel better by the time you go to bed tonight. You can also gently massage the area to help ease the pain.

If it still bothers you tomorrow, then you may have done something more seriously to it without realizing it. You just didn't feel it until this morning because the pain is always worse the second day. If the pain continues for more than 48 hours, I suggest you see a doctor. I doubt it will last that long though.

What is wrong with my wrist/hand? (rsi)?

Hiya

I have a problem with my hand, wrist and fingers. I am going to the doctors tommorow (again) about it, but I just wanted to get another opinion beforehand. I went to a doctor before and she said it was nothing I would be fine, blah, blah blah..

Anyway, I get this stiffness in my hands if I type or use a computer for too long, but the main symptom is in my right hand, middle and the ring finger. Whenever I grip something tightly, my finger kind of doesn't relax quickly after the muscles tighten to grip. If I release my grip slowly, for example over a second or two, it doesn't happen, but If I grip hard then let go instantly, I get that horrible sensation. It feels like a weakness in my fingers, like when you hit your funny bone, but the feeling goes in a few seconds. As I said, it almost seems like the muscles lag to return to relaxed state.

I don't have much pain, apart from occasional back pain, and pain in the inside of my elbow joint when I fully extend my arm.

I suspect some sort of rsi, but I really want to get it diagnosed and sorted out. My right hand has become very "clicky", ie, it clicks a lot when I move it about. Also, when you place my other finger just below the base of my right index finger(palm side) then curl the index finger up, you can feel a tendon or something moving beneath, which I cannot feel when I do the same thing with my other hand

Sorry about the confusing symptoms, I tried my best to explain them haha..
Thanks :)

What is wrong with my wrist? The pain is throbbing and a six or seven on a scale of one to ten for pain?

Tightening up the tendons in your wrist is a common problem. That pulls the arm closer to the wrist to allow the nerves to touch when you move your wrist to cause the pain. To get rid of the problem you have to free up the tendons in your wrist and here's how to do that:
Wrist:
With hand resting in front of you with the palm up, bend your wrist as far as you can.. Then press into the area behind the wrist, where they take your pulse, and hold a good amount of pressure on it. After 30 seconds slowly open your wrist up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your wrist open for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

What if I have the wrong diagnosis of my wrist X-ray?

Get it reviewed from some else. Also openly discuss with one who had reported the x-ray. I am sure He/ She will solve your queries with scientific explanation.
