What is your least favorite Girl Scout cookie flavor?

Out of my time being a Girl Scout, the only one I would not touch more than once (to sample it) was the sugar-free brownies. Everything was wrong about these cookies - the texture, the flavor and the density. These cookies were hard as bricks and tasted much like a coffee-chocolate flavor, but with no sugar too.The chocolate chip sugar free cookies (that were mentioned in another answer) were actually decent in my opinion, especially when you account for the lack of sugar.Out of the current cookies, I dislike the Smores and the toffee. The Savhanna Smiles are still not my favorite because they replaced the Lemon Chalet Cremes (like a Lemonade, but sweeter filling), which were one of my favorites. Now, I eat the Trefoils and Tagalongs as my favorites, but I will steal a Samoa or two because they are good.

I am going to make thumbprint cookies, what is your favorite flavor of jam or jelly?

The long way aroundWhen berries are on sale, we buy plenty and freeze them whole for later use. When a recipe needs blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, or peach, for example, it’s just a quick grab from the freezer.Since the berries are frozen, it’s easy to select just the right amount to make a little jam for a project.Place frozen berries in a bowl and microwave on “defrost” until thawed.Place in a saucepan over medium heat until bubbling.Smash the berries with a potato masher or similar tool.Add sugar—we like coconut palm sugar—as much or as little as you like and stir well to combine.Reduce heat to medium low and continue simmering until the berries thicken. If you want to add some spice (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, etc.), do so now.The berries thicken as they cool so pull from heat before it becomes too thick and allow to cool.Congratulations: You have just made jam. If you “accidentally” made too much, it will keep in the refrigerator for a week or so.Our favorite for thumbprint cookies is raspberry.

What is America's favorite cookie?

I think Oreo can probably make a case, based on volume sold, that it’s America’s favorite cookie because there are statistics available for mass produced, commercial products. These statistics, however, do not include home made or local bakery cookies.I have never seen a Oreo-type cookie in a local bakery nor, in my experience, is it a huge favorite of home bakers.I’m willing to bet that the favorite cookie of Americans is the home baked chocolate chip cookie in all its many forms (preferably made with butter).Okay, I Googled some cookie recipes. These statistics reflect only the number of recipes found (I did not check for duplicates), not the number of cookies produced using these recipes, but I think they serve to support my assertion.Chocolate chip cookie recipes: 2,130,000 resultsOreo type cookie recipes: 1,580,000 resultsSnickerdoodle cookie recipes: 720,000 results
