What Is Your Favorite Drink From Starbucks

What is your favorite Starbucks drink and why?

My favorite Starbucks drinks changes as often as the weather and my own mood. Sorry, but this answer is going to get pretty complicated pretty quickly. It mostly depends on how hot it is outside, whether or not I want a lot of caffeine, whether I’m making it or someone else is, and if I’m eating anything with it.If I’m ordering it instead of making it, I try to keep it relatively simple. I don’t want to torture the poor baristas at my college, so I tend to order a caramel macchiato with ristretto shots and a little bit of extra caramel. Only two modifiers, which I think is reasonable. I’ll take it iced or hot. I was told today that I’m the only one in my whole college of 2,000 people who orders ristretto shots. If I’m making it for myself, and I get to savor it, my favorite is a cappuccino made with whole milk, ristretto blonde shots, extra dry, with two pumps of vanilla and one of caramel (which sounds like a lot, but grandes usually have four, so it’s actually less). If salt is in season, I’ll add a little. When I’m back in my home store, I get a blonde & stormy, which is otherwise unavailable in the United States because stores don’t make the almond foam. However, a shift at my store and I are crazy about almond foam, so we usually have it in stock. It comes unsweetened, so I add my two pumps vanilla and one pump caramel. Sometimes drizzle if I’ve done something to deserve an extra treat. The drink for “oh god, I have a paper due tomorrow that I haven’t started and it’s 10:00pm” my go to is the vanilla sweet cream cold brew with extra shots as needed. If it’s the summer promotional, I substitute the vanilla for marshmallow. So there you go: four different drinks for four different occasions.

None of it. It's overpriced, and I CAN say that because I worked there. They charge 50 cents for soy milk. The container cost $4.50, you can get a lot more than 9 portions from that. They use less than 1/5 of a cup. The charge 50 cents for an extra pump of syrup, which doesn't even cover the bottom of the cup. The bottle of syrup is $10. You get A LOT more than 20 pumps from that. In the iced teas/lemonades, almost half the drink is ice. They charge $5.60 for a venti flavored tea, which is half water and half milk. A 4L jug of milk doesn't even cost that much.

Whats your favorite drink at Starbucks?

What's your favorite HOT drink at starbucks?

Mocha -- coffee and chocolate -- can't be beat!

What are your favorite non-coffee drinks at Starbucks?

Tough question to answer without knowing more about your preferences (sweet or not-sweet, cafeeine or decaf, etc.), so I decided to tackle by time of the day.Morning Black tea is a pretty solid coffee substitute if you don't like the taste of coffee but still want the pick-me-up to start your day. A black tea latte (Awake Tea Latte in Starbucks parlance) is a milder option and easier to drink for some, and of course you can modify with sweeteners to your hearts content. Afternoon/EveningChai Tea Lattes are a really popular option, but they are also fairly sweet (almost a dessert beverage) and high in calories. Starbucks' iced teas are actually pretty good, but I'd recommend asking for light or no sweetener. Ditto for the ice tea lemonades, particularly if you like the tartness of fresh lemonade.

What's your favorite Starbucks coffee drink?

Well for starters, Marina K - you can have PEPPERMINT ALL YEAR 'ROUND. So if you like peppermint fraps, peppermint white mochas, peppermint mochas, etc. those are all year---not just for a limited time around Christmas. They only "advertise" and make it seem like its only for Christmas! =D

My favorite hot drink is the caramel macchiatto or a caramel latte with drizzle. I also love the cinnamon dolce latte (tastes like a liquid cinnamon bun) and the peppermint white chocolate mocha. I find it very sweet so I ask for half sweet. (A grande would normally get 4 pumps of peppermint and 4 pumps of white mocha so for half-sweet you only get 2 pumps of each - which is still quite a bit of syrup).

My favorite cold drink is either the double chocolate chip frap blended creme (like a chocolate milkshake) or the STRAWBERRY BLENDED LEMONADE. It's not on the menu but they have a button for it. It's really good! It's just strabwerry puree, lemonade, and ice blended together so its like a slushie. Really nice in the summertime.

As a Starbucks Barista, what are some of your favorite drinks to make?

Hmm… I love making a good flat white, or any latte with whole milk. Also, dry cappuccinos. (Extra dry nonfat cappuccinos are like playing with fluff, that’s a blast.) I guess I enjoy the times I get to really put milk through its paces. :)I like making any drink, though. I really like to put extra effort into making them taste good (making sure the sauce is melted, making sure the shots are in time, making sure side of the cup isn’t covered in caramel sauce and gross to touch), even if it means being a little slower than some of the others. I’m ashamed to say that on many occasions, drinks by my co-workers or partners at busier stores have tasted awful. I like to make drinks that make people happy, not rueful that they’ve wasted their money. :)
