What Is Your Favorite Night Time Cleanser

What's your favorite oil cleanser?

I dont really have much of a problem with oil, my face is more naturally dry due to my age, i use youniques blackhead scrub in the evening to remove my makeup(its exfoliating) and thier gentle cleanser (good for all skin types)for my morning routine. If i had a issue though with oil, i would most certainly use thier oil control masks a couple times a week for sure though. I use thier detoxify and brightening masks, and oh my word are they AMAZEBALLS. after the masks i enjoy a spritz of rosewater and i hit the sheets for the night. Hope this helps❤✌

What is your favorite facial cleanser, etc?

I have oily/acne prone skin and I've found that Alba's Pineapple Enzyme Facial cleanser with their Pineapple Enzyme Scrub that I mix with kaolin or french clay, followed by Witch Hazel as toner and Jojoba oil as moisturizer keeps my skin pretty much under control, looking healthy. When I need acne treatment, I use their invisible gel or Kiss My Face's Witch Hazel/tea tree oil one. For fading acne scars, I use lemon juice and/or vitamin e oil. For undereye circles, I use essential chammomile oil and tea bags.

I also love this routine because it's quite affordable. I am getting better quality than when I spent tons more on Ahava, Dr Murad, Dr Hauschka, Decleor, etc and Alba and other lines I use don;t test on animals as Clinique and some brands still do. They're actually vegetarian line and very animal friendly.

Morning or night for washing face with cleanser?

I always wash my face twice daily--once in the morning, and once at night. Thats because my face tends to get a bit oily. But an esthetician at a day spa I once went to told me that it's better to wash your face at night, to give your skin time to rest from all of the days' activities. Plus your face will replenish itself using its natural oils--leaving your skin fresh radiant in the morning.

Which is the best time to do facial... morning or night??

yes night is relaxing

How many times per day should i cleanse and moisturize?

It is best to cleanse and moisturize 2 times a day, in the morning and at night before you go to bed.

If you feel that 2 times a day is too much for your skin to handle (rashy, red skin), cut back to 1 time a day. I would wash and moisturize during the night time more.

I also exfoliate while in the shower to open my pores. I do it 2 times a week. I can go three times a week but sometimes it dries out my skin and causes flakey skin. If you can handle it, go with 3 times a week.

The face mask I would use it 1 a week. Too many products causes my skin to breakout more often. But it also depends on how your skin handles all the products.

I do not use the products all at one time. If I exfoliate, i do not use the face mask. I leave the face mask for another day. I usually cleanse my skin before I exfoliate to help wash the dirt and makeup off first. Then shower to exfoliate. After exfoliating, i would apply moisturizer before going to bed.

How often should I use cleanser, toner and moisturizer & whats your skin routine?

To an extent the answer depends on variables such as your age, skin type, product preferences and so on. The face builds up sweat and sebum at night and various substances from your environment or makeup during the day, so I think it's important to use a gentle cleanser and moisturiser twice a day - in the morning and before bed.

Many people with oily skin use products that strip out the natural oils in the epidermis. This is a mistake, as our bodies are very clever and can compensate for this rough treatment with an overproduction of sebum, leading to even oilier skin, as well as blackheads and acne. Better to use a gentle cleanser, toner (if you like using one) and a light, oil-free moisturiser. If your skin is dry, again the use of a gentle, moisturising cleanser and richer moisturiser can help.

I personally use all-natural products in my body, skin-care and makeup routines - no petrochemicals, parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulphates, etc. and my skin has been far better since. The routine I use for my dry, sensitive skin is:

Morning: Moisturising facial wash, organic geranium water as a toner, day cream.
Night: Moisturising facial wash, toner, 2 drops of rosehip oil massaged in, then night cream.

I'm told my skin looks younger than my 37 years.

Best cleanser/toner for oily skin?

neutrogena is my faveee =)

i use the oil free acne wash every morning when i wake up and every night before bed. then after i wash my face with that, i use the clear pore toner stuff. (i only use the toner at night though, cuz two times a day is too harsh and drying for my skin). after that i put on facial lotion for sensitive and dry skin. it works for me!
