Which coffee brand is your favorite?

Not to promote our company, I would think of Tanzanian beans are the most balanced and rich in flavor and acidity. The acidity levels of Tanzania coffee are slightly muted compared to Kenyan coffee, are also less consistent with a milder body. Although the fruit and acidity are more understated they still shine brightly. Ground, dry Tanzania coffee may present a sweet molasses fragrance that is slightly floral with notes of apple fruit.Different types of “coffee grind” serve different purpose:extra coarse: used for cold brewing methods;medium grind: best for drip pots (like Bunn, Newco, Fetco);medium-fine grind: suitable for Vacuum Pots, and Siphon Brewers;fine grind: good for espresso;extra fine grind: great for Turkish coffee.

Seniors: What is Your Favourite Brand of Coffee?

I was using the cheapy brands b/c I was not earning as much.
Work has picked up, so I've been treating myself to some good eats & drinks.
Yesterday I bought the coffee my ma drinks, Chock Full O'Nuts.
My ma (and I) use percolators & this coffee is good for percolators--not too fine of a grind.
I'm hoping it is as good as I remember.
What is your preferred coffee, if price was not an issue?
It could also be pre-made coffee bought at a restaurant.
Our English friends can chime in with their favourite tea.

How do you like your coffee? Do you have a favorite brand?

I like my coffee black from an Aeropress.I noticed the biggest improvement in taste when I started trying the various recipes used by the winners of the World Aeropress Championship. My favorite recipe was from Nick Hatch, who ended up placing second in 2015.After several hundred cups, I’ve landed on something not too far from his recipe:Coffee: 20gWater: 200g @ 175fBrewer: UprightFilter: PaperGrind coffee at "17" on a Baratza Encore grinderHeat water to 180 fahrenheitAdd 50g of water to wet the groundsStir five timesAllow 30 seconds of bloomAdd the rest of the water in 10 secondsWait until the timer hits 1:15Press down for 30 seconds, into a room temperature mugTotal brew time - 1:45I’ve been using this method or something similar just about every morning for more than four years with coffee from Dana St Roasting Co & Blue Bottle. Over the past year, I also started using it at night to make a decaf cup as a replacement for dessert. It tastes incredible if you get a high quality decaf roast and works well as an appetite suppressant if you’re trying to eat less sugar. I’d recommend Night Light from Blue Bottle.I can’t say for certain that Blue Bottle is the best brand of coffee in the world because I haven’t tried some more obscure single origin coffees, especially from the Geisha variety, but as far as more widely recognized brands go, I’d definitely say it’s my favorite. If you’re willing to spend for high quality beans and the convenience of shipping, I’d highly recommend their Single Origin subscription. I have yet to be disappointed by a single bag of coffee they’ve sent me.

Kenco. Boil a kettle, put some coffee granules, milk and sugar in and tip the boiling water on.I hate these bloody coffee shops. There’s a fifty-foot long menu of things I can’t pronounce and I’m sure they make some up. And why do those machines have to go schlurp-schlurp-brrrraam-wocca-wocca-foop-ting? It’s bloody milk and water! Just pour it on!Seriously, what is a cappucino? I thought it was some senior mobster in the Godfather. Latte is what I am when I stroll into work at ten o’ clock. There’s one that looks as though it’s pronounced “machine-oil”. Look I know everybody’s worried about robots taking their jobs but they’re not popping in to Costa to have a chinwag over some frothy mush as well.An Espresso is surely a fast train. An Espresso Doppio is a fast train for stupid people. Ristretto sounds like they’re going to handcuff you. And why do they have to draw smiley faces and fern leaves in the froth? If I want to look at art, I’ll go to the gallery. They do them in caffeine-free variants as well. **** off, coffee shop. What do you mean caffeine-free? There’s a used car dealership next door. Do you think they’d sell me an engine-free Ford Fiesta or a brake-free Mini? No? Well pack it in denying the very reason for your existence then, you arty-farty piss-takers.I don’t want art in a cup at a cost of umpteen squllion quid a go. I just want a sugary dose of wake-me-up. Just get some bloody Kenco from the Lidl two doors down, and a bottle of milk and a bag of sugar whilst you’re at it, and I’ll give you a quid if you serve it in a big mug. £1.50 if you get some of those polyester seats like they used to have in cheap cafes circa 1979 instead of the little round wobbly things that give you arse-ache if your bottom’s on them for more than ten minutes.Trendy coffee shops, sod off. And take bloody bistros with you when you go.

What is your favorite brand or make of coffee?

I buy local. My favorite at home in Fort Bragg CA, is Thanksgiving Roasters. It isn’t a coffee shop but only available as beans and ground in stores. When I am in Grass Valley I buy Caroline’s from Nevada City. They do have a small shop there but sell beans and ground locally in stores too. Thanks for the A2A Brandon Woodhouse

What is your favourite brand/flavour of tea or coffee? Why?

I have two favorite coffees:Devan’s Monsooned Malabar Coffee: The beans are sundried and exposed to the monsoon and sea winds. The exposure of the winds makes a change in them, it causes the beans to swell and lose some of the acidity. Since the coffee is low in acidity, I can share it easily with my friends when they come over. When you drink it you will find hints of chocolate and nuts in it, and some spice hints once you swallow. It is a not that bitter or strong, and very relaxing as a daily/casual cup of coffee. It has a shade of golden in it, and a beautiful thing to look at.Kalledeverapura Pulp Sun Dried: This is a much darker and richer coffee. It tastes slightly fruity, and is more acidic than the one above. But it smells so good. When you take a whiff of it, it will transport you to to your child hood memories of having fresh hot cakes and biscuits.
