"Truth Be Told" plays upon the old adage "Honesty is the best policy". According to Colorado's leading marriage counselor, Annie Morgan, honesty is the key to successful long-term relationships. Ironically, Annie has never been married and doesn't always follow her own advice. Through a misunderstanding, Annie receives an invitation for her and her spouse to join media mogul Terrance Bishop, at his New Mexico ranch to discuss her dream job: hosting a radio advice program. Fearful that being single will ruin her chance of a lifetime, Annie conspires with Mark Crane, an old college friend, recent widower, and father of two teenagers, to pose as a married couple for the weekend. A series of comical misunderstandings color the trip, leaving Annie emotionally involved with Mark's family and battling with her own conscience. As the entertaining and touching story unfolds, Annie begins to realize that the truth may have its consequences, but ultimately it's what opens our hearts and brings out the best in each other.

Moscow is one of many biggest cities in the world. Is just a town that's developed fast in recent years, and, as a result, comprises high-rise suburbs bordering a relatively small old center with lots of amazing ancient architecture. The most crucial place of Moscow is the Red Square that has been for generations, the heart and soul of Russia. Here, you are able to visit the Century St. Basil's Cathedral, one of the very popular items of architecture on the planet and the constructivist pyramid of Lenin's Mausoleum. Red Square happens to be a rich place in designs of Russia's turbulent and exciting past.

I don't recall much about it, but I saw it on TV about seven years ago. At the time, my family didn't have cable or satellite, so it was either seen on Fox, ABC, or (unlikely) a local channel. That doesn't mean it was produced by either station, though.

The storyline revolved around a son and a father. The father had died of lung cancer, but when he was alive he and his father had a strained relationship. One day, the son finds an old radio of his father's, and attempts to use it. The discovers a man on the other end, but the man claims to be his father, about twenty years into the past.

The son doesn't believe the story at first, but when his father accidently burns a part of his desk and the burn mysteriously appears in the future with the son watching, they come to the realization that the radio can broadcast through time.

After that, I don't remember very much of the storyline. The son tries to fix things, and insists that the father stop smoking so he won't get lung cancer. The son also tries to warn his father against a burglar/murderor that comes into their house, who (I think) kills the mother. The father prevents it, but the burglar/murderor goes to prison or gets away...can't remember which.

Time passes through the movie, but this event eventually comes back to bite them, namely the son. The burglar/murderor, seeking revenge (From his time in prison, I believe) attempts to kill the son. The son is almost shot, but the father reappears in the future, aged but alive. He stopped smoking, and thus prevented his lung cancer, which enabled him to save his son in the future.

The murderor/burglar is brought to justice, and the movie ends.

Anyone know what the movie is? It looked like it was a TV movie, but I can't be sure...

edit - interesting the thumbs down, the Visitor pretty much perfectly fits the description. The young man teaches the older man how to play the African drums, the man does visit the young man while he's detained so it would look like prison, the older man does have a talk with the girl over what may be tea (I can't remember for certain), and at the end of the film after the young man is deported, the older man goes down into the subways and plays his heart out on the African drums.

That is a TV show on NBC called Smash that comes on Monday nights. I love the show, it's worth watching and they've been signed on for a second season already.

I can't remeber it all so i'll just give you the bits i DO remember. In the beginning i believe it's a stormy night and this boy is riding his bike too the library and i think kids are picking on him? anyways hes rushing to the library and when he gets there i think he gets locked in or someting. When he gets locked in the library turns all cartoon like and he's in another dimension trying to find the exit of the library meanwhile he has the 3 books who are alive helping him to the end. in the end of the movie he gets out rushes home and falls asleep in his tree house with the books i believe.... any idea what it is??
