What Just Happened In My Dream

What happened to all my dreams?

I understant how you feel 'cause I had that time in my life, too. What you have to do is look back what was your dream and ask yourself why you throw it away. Then ask again what you want to do or to be, if no answer look for someting to inspire yourself. Don't just lets the day past. Your dream there somewhere around you.

Creepy old guy in my dream, what just happened?

To see a old man in your dream is usually a good thing. Old man represents wisdom. Also indicates guidance in daily life.

Other than that, go back to sleep. Its alright, all of us have weird nightmares sometimes. I had a weird nightmare where I was awake but still dreaming somehow, and wanted to scream but no words or sounds were coming out of my mouth. Just plain freaky.

Listen to your favourite song and go back to sleep, mostly likely it means nothing at all :)

Has continuation of a dream ever happened?

I have had sequential dreams of similar content to part of  Spielberg/Kubrick's Artificial Intelligence my whole life.I believe the content is more Kubrick's.I have had dreams of flying at least 1000 times, in which there are specific skills to learn, mostly arm motion. In I Fellini he says that one of the great tragedies in his life was when he no longer dreamed of flying:"especially because I was so good at it."I have dreams of something like parkour but in a less urban, gritty setting. My earliest dreams were of Tibet, which started again when I visited Bali.I thing this has to do with the devil masks. In college the head of the psychology department stated that there is no way, in a dream, to be certain if it was a dream.I told him that I had established rules and tricks to determine exactly this: Rule #1 if the question arises, you are dreaming, because it has never happened while awake.Trick#1 in your dream, go to your library and pick out any volume of a familiar book, start turning the pages, you will reach a speed at which the words start to blur.My dreams are sequential movies.

What does it mean when you have dreams that end up happening in real life, i.e., is deja vu a skill, something else, or nothing at all?

I have had this happen many time throughout my life. Most of which happened as a child. My first and one of the most recognizable times was when I lived in California. We had just moved to a new home in Hollywood and I had had a dream that my Dad and I walked to a park nearby. The next morning, I asked my Dad if we could go. I took his hand and led him to that same park from my dream. My Dad insisted that I had been there before so, I learned to not be so open about the weirdness of it all.Another time, I was older, about 11. I awoke from a dream that was kind of eerie to me because it seemed so real. I was at my nieces birthday party. Nothing out of the ordinary except that I did not spend much time with her so I dismissed it. A couple months later, I was invited to her birthday party. Nothing seemed strange until I was there and remembered my dream. I knew each gift she had before it was even being opened because of my dream.I’m not real sure what causes it, I am not a spiritual or religious person but, what if our time lines are not fixed, what if subconsciously we can float through our time lines and witness our lives through our future selves at any given point. Who knows really but, makes sense to me.

What's something that you thought could only happen in a dream but then it happened in reality?

I've had many dreams where my teeth have fallen apart and I've spat them out with mouthfuls of blood. It's horrifying. It was even more horrifying to have a tooth actually collapse in my mouth for no apparent reason one day and to spit it out in broken shards (although, thankfully, there was no blood). I also once dreamt I had all the winning lotto numbers. Unfortunately, I didn't get around to buying a ticket.... and every number I dreamed came up (shame the dream was only having the numbers... not of actually winning).I'll post an update if ever I find myself married to Brad Pitt ;-)

Why are my dreams continuations of what happened in my day?

We take much of life for granted, in stride, without real attention to feelings (if our Feeling function is an “inferior function”) or we miss details (if our Sensing function is an “inferior function”). I am referring to the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) categories by “inferior function.” The same is true for the other aspects of the instrument. You may not be familiar with it, but it is a framework by which I can answer your question. Myers–Briggs Type Indicator - WikipediaFor example, I am an INTP (1 of 16 types). My Sensing (S) function is inferior. I might spend an hour with a person and learn quite a lot through the Intuitive (N) and Thinking (T) functions, but I might have little recall of what that person was wearing. An ‘S’ type person on the other hand might recall all kinds of details down to the socks, skin blemishes, ink, etc. I am a Thinking type, and my Feeling function is therefore inferior while my Thinking is Dominant. This doesn’t mean that I am unfeeling, only that I tend to put logic ahead of feeling.Dreams can serve to process events of the day, and things that escaped a person’s inferior functions might be noticed by the dream-ego. The inferior functions are less conscious to us, somewhat submerged in the unconscious even during waking hours, so half-noticed things are picked up subliminally but they may then stand out in our dreams where our “dominant function” is not operating as it does when awake. There is a tendency to move towards wholeness in our psyche and dreams may be an attempt to supply missing pieces. They certainly do in annoying wish-fulfillment dreams.

Every time I have a dream something bad happens.?

Ok so a while ago I asked if some one could interpret a dream for me on here and I got a few answers. Well the next dad something bad happened to me. I never ever dream or remember my dreams unless something bad is about to happen to me or some one in my life. why??
