What Kind Of Beats By Dre Should I Get

What Beats by Dr. Dre Should I Get?

If I were you I'd figure out how much you can afford to spend, and then head over to http://www.head-fi.org and look at reviews of the Beats just to see what other headphones are recommended in the same price range.

I've listened to most of the Beats and have come away shaking my head in disbelief that there are people out there gullible enough to buy such ridiculously overpriced headphones when much better options are easily available.

I know I'm just some bloke on the internet, and my opinion means next to nothing, but my favourite Beats-killers at the moment are: Sennheiser HD25-1 II, Grado SR80i, Audio Technica ATH-M50, and the wonderful Bowers and Wilkins P5.

Should I get beats by dre or skullcandy?

Stay away from ANYTHING made by Monster. They make nothing but overpriced JUNK. It's been scientifically proven on other forums by industry professionals. I have a pair of skullcandy skull crushers, they sound great, fit soft as butter and have build in powered subwoofers. Yes you read that right.

Also, skullcandy just came out with a line called aviators that sound interesting.

Beats by Dre for only $16?

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE ANY OF YOUR MONEY ON THOSE, FAKE OR NOT!

If REAL quality is an issue, please stick to REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica (NOT to be mixed with Technic which is utter rubbish as well!), Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. Things like V-Moda, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish" indeed. Please do NOT fall a victim to FASHION ACCESSORIES by buying Boombox, Ministry of Sound, Sol/Republic/Revolution, Noontec Zoro's, Benetton, a-jays, iFrogz, Marley, Fanny Wang, Razer, Karl Kani, WESC, Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), BE THEM FAKE OR NOT!

Should I get another Beats by Dre Product?

NEVER!!

ALL Beats are massively overhyped and overpriced FASHION TOYS marketed VERY aggressively for gullible people who either do NOT care or do NOT know a single thing about REAL audio quality!

REPUTABLE manufacturers such as Sennheiser, Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic and Audio-Technica have ALL been around for DECADES, so they KNOW what REAL quality is all about. Therefore, they do NOT need any lousy rappers nor other celebrity wannabes to boost their sales.

Which is better: JBL or Beats by Dr. Dre?

If looks are important to you, I'd suggest you go in for the Beats by Dr. Dre. And here's why. Beats, look nice. That's about the only thing that's nice about them. The sound quality they give is that of headphones that are at least a thousand rupees cheaper. They're just a marketing brand. And as pointed out in the earlier answers, JBL make good headphones. But they're not as good as their speakers.I'd suggest you look at the Audio Technica M series. They're amazing headphones which have a flat frequency because they're studio monitors used for music editing, mixing and product. But they perform amazing in terms listening too. And they sound phenomenal! The flat frequency is so that the user is able to listen to every detail perfectly. They also have a ton of good listening headphones too. If you're a bass head, check out their solid bass line. I'd definitely recommend Audio Technica anyday. They sound phenomenal. For the sound you get from them, They are light on your wallet too. I've also used Sennheiser headphones. They're equally good but they have a higher bass than the Audio Technicas. And the sound gets a little distorted at high volumes. Whereas the Audio Technica headphones are clear throughout. I will have to point out that, Sennheiser headphones are equally good. They're louder. I am not saying the Audio Technica headphones are better. Both are amazing headphones that sound phenomenal. As a musician, I would prefer a flatter frequency range. Which is why I may sound biased. But, I assure you, I'm not. I'm a fan of both of them. I own both and they both surprise me everytime. Hope this helps.

How to convince my dad to get me Beats by Dre Solo HD headphones?

Ok so I really want Beats By Dre Red Solo HD headphones! (Btw im 15 years old) I am kind of like a music freak. I listen to all music all the time. Right now I have those cheap $15 apple headphones, the standard ones. I really don't like them because being a person that listens to music constantly every day, I need headphones that are good quality, won't hurt after 1/2 an hour, and offer great quality. The beats by Dre solos are outstanding for that, considering I listen to music all the time. It not like one of those things you buy and barely use. So I know it's a little pricey, $200 but i think it's worth it for the quality you get and the fact that they will last a long time. At first, I wanted to pay for the entire headphones myself but a few weeks ago I had to get new glasses which my dad was supposed to pay for ($200) because my parents are divorced and my dad is required to pay for medical expenses. But he refused to and I didn't want to upset my mom by telling her he won't pay so I took my $200 and gave it to my mom. She doesn't know it came from me and it wasn't supposed to. So now I'm stuck with $0. How can I convince my dad to get them for me? Thank you so much!

Beats by Dre pro Color Scheme?

No unfortunately but there is a rumour that dre is making covers for themin all different coulers.
Wether that's true or not idk

Should I get refurbished Beats by Dre?

NO. Please do yourself a favour and do NOT buy JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, Lady GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters and Bose, because they are ALL seriously overhyped and overpriced "fashion blingbling gimmicks" with a very poor durability and sound quality, NOTHING else (and those who try to claim they are good do NOT know ANYTHING about QUALITY anyway!), be them fake or not! If REAL quality is an issue, please go for REPUTABLE brands only such as B&W, Sennheiser (most affordable), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic (Sony and Philips are ONLY "okay-ish"). Please do not let the peer pressure/fashion fool you any more because it is very often a waste of money.

Which Dr. Dre Beats should I get, Studio or Solo?

If you are buying them to put around your neck as a fashion statement, then buy the more expensive one because that apparently has a higher 'coolness factor'!If you plan to listen to music, don't buy either!! Beats is NOT an audio company (not a good one anyway) and does NOT make headphones worth listening with!If you want to listen to music, go buy any model in your budget from Sennheiser, Audeze, AKG, AudioTechnica, Beyerdynamic, HiFiman, etc.You will get much betterĀ  sound than any beats product can produce and for less than 1/5 the beats price!!

Beats By Dre vs Sennheiser. Which should I get?

Regarding Beats By Dre Pro and Sennheiser HD-25 II/HD 280. Now, I have recently taken up Music Producing/Composing and I 'need' some kick *** headphones. I have browsed the internet watching/reading reviews, but I'll ask again my way. To my understanding the Pro is very durable, being made of aluminum, Sennheiser, not as much. I do like the ability to "daisy-chain" with the Pro and the flip up ear-cup if I'm talking to someone. I hear the sennheiser are more comfortable because they have oval shaped ear-cups. I want to be able to use them anywhere I want, within reason, like recording/composing, in a car, in my room casually listening and playing video games. Sound cancellation is not 'that big a deal' to me. I would like to have a great quality of all ranges High/Mid/Low. With more detail of the music I listen to. Everything Electronic. House/ Dub-step/ Electro-Rock/ Dance/ Ambient/ Industrial/ Drum'n'Bass + some Rock/Metal Rap, Hip Hop, the smallest bit of Classical. Now don't get all up in here saying Beats are BS cause brand name and price and effects. I need constructive reviews/opinions, please. I love Bass! I play the bass guitar and anything with lots a bass is my kind of music like dub-step and drum 'n' bass. I want to produce progressive, drum 'n' bass, dub-step, and also some piano tunes. So I need some headphones to halp me continue this passion of mine. Like I said, mainly electronic, but with the capability of listening to nearly anything else

Thank you for your time
