Braids Senegalese Twist or Box Braids?
Either one of these techniques should last the same amount of time as long as they are done properly. So then it becomes a choice of which look you like better. I do have to say that the box braids are much more difficult to accomplish and usually require two people to do them, where just one person could do the twist. Good luck.......I love that look!!! I have been natural for over 5 yrs...when i first went natural, i got full headed weaves and wore wigs...now that might not be your thing, but either way, if you don't slowly chop of bits of your relaxed hair then it will break off anyway eventually...i slowly cut my hair as the new growth came in, and it took about 2 months for me to completely cut it all off...bit it was a slow process though...i would not recommend braids (individual) but try something that will keep your hair braided down instead of each stand moving around all the time...thus us called a protective style.i would recommend tree braids....it keeps your hair braided into corn rows and you can select the braiding hair and keep your hair moisturized in the meantime...they will probably last you agood month id you decide to wear then that long...i really do believe that individual braids mess up your edges, and you don't want to be walking around with patches in your head,...bit whatever you do, make sure that you moisturize and keep from handling your hair so much...give your hair a rest and enjoy the process! This would be impossible to answer. A stylist charges for services based on the amount of time it would take to perform the service, the level of expertise they carry for that service, and also the amount of competition in their area that can provide same said services.As far as time, once again it would be impossible to answer because not every stylist can create the same services in the same time. This also matters based on your hair length, whether or not the stylist would have to add more hair to the braids, and also how much hair you have as far as thin or thick.I'm sorry I cannot be of more help but it's just impossible to answer your question without knowing details about your hair and what style you want done.

How do I braid my own hair?
I learned how to braid by watching my sis.. To braid, follow these simple steps: 1: seperate hair into 3 parts, I would recommend starting with a 6 inch section, not all of your hair, and it is easier when your hair is wet. 2: Twist each strand around the one next to it. Never twist the same ones twice in a row. Keep twisting till you get to the bottom and then secure it. To french braid, after you master braiding, Start by using a lil bit of hair, then simply add a lil bit of hair and braid to the side! Practice on Barbies, or American Girl dolls, or your friend's hair!
I got knots in my hair after taking out my senegalese twist.it pulled most of my hair out.what should i do now?
I had got senegalese twist in my hair last month on the 20th and took them out lastnite..i seen on youtube if you use conditioner on the braids while you're taking them out it would be easier..so anyway as i wad taking them out i tried ti comb it out a little bit but it didnt work..my heads full of conditioner already..i go to wash my hair and all my hair got knots in it..now i dont understand how this happened but basically it took me hours to get these knots outta my hair and i basically pulled most of ny hair out because i had these knots throughtout my hair..mind you i have really thin hair as it is.mi wanted to cry so bad i had so mucj new growth and i looked in the trash can and there was most of my hair..do anyone know how this could have happened because thr sane thing happened to my friend but she has kinky twist in and left them in for so many month..does anyonr have any ideas what i should do to my hair after this?
