What Kind Of Bug Is This

What kind of bug is this ?

You might have found the cuckoo wasp.I would say the species could be Chysis nitidula.

What kind of bug is this?

That's a windscorpion.
You're lucky. I haven't seen any where I live (Los Angeles) since the malathion bait drops in the 1980s. When I was a pre-teen, I had one as a pet for two years.

If you look closely, you'll see that it actually has eight legs. The two appendages that you are mistaking for antennae are pedipalps.

What kind of bug is this?

lol Stink bug.

I only laugh because I guessed it before I clicked in your question to see what it was (and totally understand). Harmless. But they are a nuisance in some parts of the country as they want to come indoors when it starts getting cooler outside. Only one species does this (and it's a foreign import). My area gets them too. For a number of years they've been doing this... trying to get inside. (So far they haven't yet where I am because it has stayed warm enough.) They aren't much of a pain after they find a place to settle down for the winter, often in attics. But they are a pain again come spring because they want to go back outside.

They won't eat your clothes or furniture or food or cause any harm. They're mostly just annoying for those of us that have to put up with them trying to come indoors to hibernate. They are only a harm to plants and crops, nothing indoors.

Species native to this country don't do this... This only started happening once this non-native species showed up.

And unless you can seal your house up perfectly to prevent them from slipping in, there is no stopping them. But you're far from alone in the frustration.

What kind of bug is this?

It’s a kind of mosquito from the Sciriapidae family. They call them fungus gnats. No, they don’t bite or sting.Small animals that like high humidity a lot, source is often house plants in pots with standing water. Always remove standing water an hour after watering your plants, you’ll prevent root rot while getting rid of your little flying animals. The larvae are mostly to be found in the soil of the house plants so keep them a bit dryer for a while and especially take care of excess water.

What kind of bugs do you hate and why?

I hate ticks. Sneaky little disease carrying, blood sucking, itch causing, vampire bugs. I sincerely hate ticks. The diseases that they spread are as sneaky as they are, you often don’t know why you are so sick and it can take sometimes years of suffering before you are accurately diagnosed, at least one of the diseases has no cure, and one tick is capable of carrying more than one disease. The bites are incredibly itchy, sometimes becoming infected, and on me they seem to take forever to heal and often leave a scar.Last but not least, seeing a bug that is engorged with your blood to the point that it is several times its original size is just plain disgusting.Thank God for Guinea fowl, they love ticks as much as I hate them.
