I have worked in a salon for 6 years. If you have too much volume, try using a smoothing serum like Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Relaxing Balm. It seals down the hair cuticle so it helps keep the hair from becoming frizzy, and it helps reduce drying time. (Also, using a flat iron is a great way to reduce volume.) To remove the buildup in your hair, it is best to use a clarifying shampoo. I personally like the Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three. Just use this clarifying shampoo once or twice a week and use your normal shampoo in between. Buildup can be caused by products or by minerals (like hard water or chlorine from swimming). It puts a coating on your hair that can make hair look dull and react differently to color or perms.

My Hair Sucks its Puffy and Frizzy, hair products or help?
Hiiii my hair is blonde, puffy and frizzy. It is so disgusting, this is probably because I got it knotted really grossly once and my mum was brushing it all night trying to get the knots out and had to cut a bit out. I really want to know some methods, or even just hair products or advice on how to fix my hair, i hide it in high buns because its so embarassing in pony tails or out without straightning it.

Why do the ends of my hair look jagged and frizzy after I use a curling iron?
I have naturally wavy hair, but before I curl it, i will blow dry it straight. However, when I use the curling iron, I find the bottom of my hair looks dry, frizzy, and kinda bends at a like 90 degree angle. My hair is healthy, i JUST cut it and have never coloured it. Furthermore, before I curl it, the ends are smooth. Why is this happening? Am I maybe using the curling iron wrong?
How to control Wavy frizzy hair .?
My hair is wavy , but frizzy . I don't want to straighten it ANY longer since that damages my hair and creates split ends . and if I get split ends i will have to cut my hair , which I want to grow out . I've tried mouse , but by the end of the day my hair is back to being frizzy and wavy. I don't know what products to use .
