What is this kind of love?
I've been reading articles about kinds of love and I've become really interested in it. After this year when I have more time (as I'm studying), I want to read more into this. However, right now, I want to know this kind of love that I have for someone: When I think of that person, My heart just feels like it sank suddenly, just from the thought of that person. And of course I like meeting this person and talking with them. I look forward to every time I'll see them. I don't feel anything of sexual attraction. And I don't want to be in a relationship with them (it's actually impossible and I wouldn't want it anyways), but I don't want to lose them either. I can't think of the day we have to part. Just a pure kind of love. What is it?

Is God's love for us like that of lovers, or like children, or what? I've pondered this many times, and haven't been able to figure it out. Is it kind of a combination of all of the possible love, rolled into one and made unconditional? I love God, but I'm not sure what kind of love I should be feeling.

They may sound identical, but this subtlety of difference translates into a whole world of difference. Being just beyond your grasp, the person is more romanticized and desirable than ever. And it can be fun to chase that dream. #2 In one-sided love, unlike the former, you may very well be in a formal relationship, either plutonic or romantic, likewise there is no reciprocation of that love on either level, not spiritually or romantically. To be in a relationship of one-sided love is to be in one that is without fulfilment, and unrequited love does not necessarily imply that. Its to be in a marriage where you're brutally mistreated, to be a family member who's exploited and taken advantage of or a friend who's ignored or disgarded.
