What kind of makeup did women wear in the 60's?

What kind of makeup would look good on me?

You already look great, but i'm here to answer your question. So, maybe a little concealer on any blemishes you may have or under your eyes ( your skin does look great though ). Then powder to set that, then maybe a little blush or bronzer to bring soem warmth , for a healthy glow ... then maybe a bit of mascara and a lip tint / gloss / balm. Thats about it. ( you could run your brows through with a gel or eyebrow masara if you wished ).

What kind of makeup should an 11-year-old have?

At eleven years old - the most important thing they should start with is a skin care regime. By learning to cleanse, tone and moisturize properly at an early age to maintain a radiantly youthful and healthy complexion, they will feel like they are doing something special by having a “beauty routine”. I am not keen on children wearing “Make Up” at such a young age unless it’s either a special occasion or they happen to be a model or actress where it is required for camera. If they want (or insist..lol) on wearing make up - perhaps a light mineral-based powder, soft toned blush, a tinted lip gloss or balm and occasionally mascara - and NEVER waterproof! Try make up lines that are natural, gluten-free, vegan and non-animal tested. There are so many ‘clean’ make up options out there.Hope this helps a bit.On a personal note, I feel that starting to wear a full face of make up at such a young age may lead a child to eventually believe that their looks are inadequate without it. And with puberty approaching and the body and skin going through many growth changes, make up on a daily basis can encourage clogged pores, acne and other unpleasant skin conditions that may force them to cover up even more.

What kind of makeup do the misfits use?

Do you mean the band? This article talks a little about their makeup and has a link that talks more about it.

What kind of makeup do women wear to work?

While women might want to wear whatever makeup they like, but just like every professional framework and conduct, even makeup has its  own way at work. Ideally, matte finish is most suited for work. You need to ensure there is an even tone in your skin,  for that, start with your favourite moisturiser followed by a matte foundation. MAC, make up forever and lakme absolute are good brands to invest in. They give a wide coverage to the facial contours. Use a little compact or loose powder after the foundation application. For eyes,  go for a lasting mascara, and little eye liner or kajal. If you wish, you can go for eyeshadow in neutral tones like dusty rose, dull orange , brown, grey and navy blue. For the lip, go for a colour complementing your skin tone. If you are a warm skin tone, then brown, beige, orange and dull pinks are your colours but if you are a cool skin tone, then dark colours like violet,  chocolate and maroon are your colours. You don't always need a blush at work but if you want, then contour your cheek bones lightly with a bronzer. And you are ready for work!

What kind of makeup do you wear everyday?

I don’t usually wear any.My first days going to my new uni, I promised myself I would religiously wear base makeup to create a good impression. Not heavy makeup- but at least a drop of foundation, undereye concealer, eyebrow pencil and eyebrow gel, some nude lipstick, and loose powder to finish- things to make me look well-groomed and awake. This went very well for two weeks or so.Then one morning I started waking up too late, and had to apply my makeup in the car. Then I realized just what an earthly hell pediatrics rotation is when I went several days without even remembering to put on my morning makeup.I am currently at home suffering from chickenpox (thanks kids! xx), and I expect I might be quite scar ridden and sore for the next few weeks. I’m still deliberating whether to wear makeup to cover them or not.Anyway, that’s on weekdays. I’ve been wearing makeup almost every weekend now, or every time I hang out with my friends. My “going out” makeup is just the same, but I usually would go for a bolder lipstick, a blush, maybe some eyeshadow, but especially a winged liner, which is my favourite part of the ritual. The thought of drawing my wings make me feel happy and fuzzy from the morning- you can enjoy applying makeup.Weekends are also when I usually go to my shop and sell stuff personally, so I try to wear stuff that I also sell and become a living mannequin of sorts for the day. So far, I’ve sold some items thanks to my wearing them! The one thing (but probably it’s not a makeup thing) that I wear consistently is sunscreen. Some days I am too tired to slather them properly, but sunscreen is a must.

When did you let your daughter use makeup? What kind of makeup did she use?

I do not have any children, so my answer may not be as credible as others, but I am a young adult who started wearing makeup while I was in high school. It definitely had its pros and cons.I do not believe that middle school aged girls (or boys) should be allowed to wear makeup for anything other than performances. When I was younger, I felt the utmost confidence with makeup and hair done, and because it was accessible to me via friends and school, I tried to wear it often. I wore it so often that I no longer felt as if I was pretty without, and formed some serious self esteem issues that i did not combat until over a year after i graduated high school . In middle school, I think that we really form a sense of “this is me. this is my body, etc etc,” and that if the “me” that kids grow to be familiar with is altered, they will no no longer be comfortable with what is normal. Especially in this day of age and with how big social media has gotten. The coming generations are all growing to be obsessed with perfection, mine included.
