What are the best MTG playmats?
The professor did a video that tells just that.I've found two online that I really liked and two that purchased at card shops plus two solid color ones I don't remember where I picked them up. You will want to find one that suits you.
What are some rare MTG cards that you have?
The rarest card I have should be Mind Twist from Beta Edition. It is supposedly worth more than 100 dollars, but both supply and demand have been low due to minimal popularity, the price mostly just comes from collection value. I traded it in because of its restricted status and just overall being a famous card. I knew it had very little actual use, but I was trading up with a bunch of 3, 5-dollar cards so I couldn’t really complain.Next up, we have cards that are actually worth talking about. (LOL)Blue-related dual lands (revised)I didn’t collect them just to own them. They were for my Oath of Druid deck, my strongest deck ever (wasn’t really that good, by the way). I liked the idea of dual lands, especially when fetchlands were released, but I didn’t like the idea of continuously buying cards that were $20–30 a pop. Too expensive.Silly me. OHHHH was I silly.I own 4 underground seas, 4 tropical islands, 1–2 volcanic island and 1 tundra. All for this one deck. My first and last attempt at making an actually legitimate deck in casual vintage (no P9).Our good ol’ acceleration friendsI was once a huge fan of artifacts. The fact that they don’t suffer from summoning sickness makes them more versatile, and therefore a league higher than creatures. History of the game has also proved my point. To be honest, I never thought cards like Lion’s Eye and ancient tomb could rise up to power like this. They are putting my serious adult investments to shame.
