Yes, a round toe heel would be very cute with an empire-waist dress. You can also do a pointed-toe or an open toe. But I would stay away from anything too square. I love an empire-waist. They elongate the torso as well as the legs.

I just bought one of those kimono silk dresses with the long sleeves for a company party. It has a small black pattern on cream for most of the dress, but the edges have a larger pattern. I bought some black tights with kind of a diamond pattern to go with it (I don't NEED to wear these BTW) Question... What would you do for shoes? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks a lot!
