What Kind Of Snakeskin Are These Boots

What sort of clothes would one wear with snake skin cowboy boots?

Red necks wear snakeskin cowboy boots too. You can wear whatever you want, you don't have to have a 'theme' when you wear boots. Cowboy hats aren't a requirment. Neither are western shirts. Where are you wearing this? Wrangler or Levi's are the best jeans for western wear and you want your leg to be wide enough to accomodate the boot. As for a shirt, wear what you want be it western, dress, or t-shirt.

Hope that helps.

Repair of Custom-made Snake-Skin Cowboy Boots?

While on vacation in New York City I was fortunate enough to stumble upon a pair of hand-made custom snake skin (cobra) cowboy boots at a very upscale second-hand store. The craftsmanship is excellent, they fit great and from my best estimate, the boots were likely made sometime in the 70s.

There is some slight wear to the snake skin in several small areas. Otherwise, the boots are in very good condition.

My questions are:
(1) Where can I go to have the boots repaired? The scales are pealing around the scuffs, and I don't want the damage to get any worse. Can snakeskin boots be repaired? What qualifications should I look for in a shoe repair shop?

(2) What are some care tips that I need to know in order to make a pair of cowboy boots last the rest of my life?

(3) Can I treat the boots with leather water-proofing spray, or is there a better way to protect the boots from the elements? Is it safe to use any treatment on the snake-skin portion?

Thanks to anyone who can help!

What kind of boots are these? Like what are they called?

Non military Combat Boots although these could be military surplus boot from the Vietnam War era. Since during that time the combat boots would've been black. Anyhow yeah these are combat boots.

What kind of Snake should I get?

Well you should probably start with a garter, water or ribbon snake. I know they don't get big but they are the best beginner snakes. Most garter snakes are calm and very rarely bite. . Garters do have a very week venom though, it's just enough to make the bite red and itchy unless you have an allergic reaction but there is a 1 in a million chance of that.
No matter you hear, a Ball Python is not a good beginner snake. Most of them have eating problems and starve to death within the first few months of life.

My ultimate suggestion is to go to the library or get on google and find out as much as you can about snakes and the kinds you are thinking about getting.
I hope this helps you some.

If you have more questions feel free to e-mail me.

-Edit- Also you need to know how to care for whatever snake you choose before you get it so you can have everything set up before hand. it is important to have every ting before you get the snake you can't put it in a box and say I'll get the tank later, then I'll get the heat lamp.... it needs it before hand otherwise it could get sick and die. thats one of the many reason I say do research first.

WHAT ARE THESE BOOTS CALLED AND WHERE CAN I FIND THEM?!?

They are slipper boots and they are mainly house shoes. I don't know where you can find those exact shoes, but you can find pairs like them for cheap at Old Navy

What brand are these boots?

They are HOT.
Could be Doc Martins.

What type of snake should i get?

Ive been looking around for smaller snakes too because ill soon have a spare enclosure when my corn snake reaches her Maximum size 4ft +

I have 3 suggestions:

A hognose snake. These are such cute little snakes and only females get about 2ft long. They barely grow bigger than this. I suggest you get a western hognose because although the mexicans are slightly more pleasing to look at, feeding them mice can be a problem (not for all snakes!) as they eat toads in the wild. Mexican hognose's are also more expensive. with your enclosure you might even be able to get a pair of these snakes! They are honestly very small and will not be a problem to hold at all. They do like to burrow though so make sure they have a nice thick layer of bedding and maybe a bit of a shrunken hide.

Children's python: these are cute little pythons and probably the smallest python species, growing between 2 -3and a half feet.
They would probably need a branch, vine, or log to climb on in their tank as most pythons are arboreal (meaning they make good use of being able to climb XD)
they would feed on mice too and also would not grow any bigger than your tank.

Rosy boa: Can be very pretty snakes and also rather small at between 2-4ft? if that, i think they might only be 3ft max. Again might need something to climb on in the tank, but other than that, like the other 3, they will just need basic reptile Equipment: Water dish, hide (cool end and warm end) Suitable substrate (aspen bedding is best) and heat mat.
All these things can be purchased fairly cheap and easy if you look around the stores or internet

Also yeah lilly is wrong, blood pythons wont stop growing before they reach at least 4.5 feet. Like someone said, they have the potential to reach 7! don't listen to that if its a smaller snake you want.

Hope i helped! good luck with these <3

Between these Three Snakes, Which Type of Snake Should I Purchase ?

i supplies you you training on a thank you to try this affordably and effectively. You first want an enclosure approximately 2 situations the snakes length in diameter. you will possibly desire to purchase one in case you may handle to pay for it, yet corn snakes strengthen rapid. What I did strengthen into pass to wal-mart and that i bought an prolonged plastic tote container and melted holes interior the proper of it. whilst the snake actual reached finished length I moved him right into an excellent glass enclosure. Pine shavings paintings wonders. i exploit them for all my snakes and located it incredibly is extremely ordinary and rapid to freshen up. you want a cover container and a water dish. Use a small water dish as corn snakes are seen desolate tract snakes and a dish to massive will advance the humidity bigger than what the snake is gentle with. you do no longer actual want branches or such even with the indisputable fact that it does make the cage look greater desirable. As for greater desirable reptiles, i will basically think of of one in the journey that your a beginner. Corn snakes are a stable beginner snake, yet ball pythons are fairly greater fee-effective and on occasion are much less tempermental. Be warned, corn snakes are very wiry. meaning the pass lots. no longer very exciting to hold until they are tame. i desire this permits.

What type of snake is this?

this is most definitely a ball python, the man guessing super motley is right about the color and nothing else. It's very obvious by the head that these are ball pythons, not boas. The fact he owned a pet store for 10+ years and can't tell between a ball python and a boa shows why you shouldn't get snakes from pet stores! I can't be 100% on the morphs, but the black one looks like a super cinnamon. go to http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs... they have pictures that normally accompany the description. When you get into the super anything on ball pythons expect to pay big time as they are not easy snakes to produce.
