What Laptop Can Support Wow And Minecraft

Best gaming laptop for World of Warcraft?

Asus Q550LF. It's a roughly $1300 computer ($1100 unit, at least $200 for warranty/protection services) but it's pretty well built.

It can run a variety of games at High graphics (I don't own many "popular" shooters like Battlefield or Call of Duty or others, but I can run Tera, Minecraft, Dragon's Prophet, and League of Legends at once with little to no frame drops (minor lag when switching between games and few seconds after, but speeds up)

Other than that, you could look into other Asus laptops (or its Realm of Gaming line) or iBuyPower laptops. I personally wouldn't suggest Alienware or Razer, as they're mainly expensive because of their brand name and not for its specs (which, depending on the model, might be lower than other brands of gaming laptops or equal to others, while those are lower priced).

There's also companies who will custom build you a gaming laptop, provided you give them specifications (like back-lit keyboard/backlight color, graphics card [could be specific brand like Nvidia or AMD or dedicated graphics size, like 2GB dedicated or 4GB dedicated] among other things).

But if it's solely for schoolwork/WoW, then any gaming computer within that price range would do. If its for other games besides WoW, he'll want something with a bit more ram and disk/storage space to hold all those games, and run them on a decent frame-rate too (decent is considered 60 frames or more per second)

Does minecraft work for Windows Vista?

Minecraft is Java-based, so it should run on any modern operating system that supports JVM.

Maybe try updating Java runtimes and see if your performance improves.

Understandably the free version, when played online is actually a little different to the desktop client. You might get better performance on Minecraft Alpha.

Can Minecraft be played on a MacBook Air?

Minecraft can be played well on a MacBook Air, but you should probably keep in mind that it is a RAM heavy game.If you are consistently getting low FPS, you should probably try installing OptiFine .

What type of laptop should I get, Apple or Windows (ASUS), I'm going to be using it for gaming (Sims 4, Minecraft, etc.) and school (I'm a freshman)?

I am sure that laptops based on either Windows or Apple operating systems would do just fine.A caveat. We have a number of friends with iMac or the like. While they love them, they all have a beast of a time communicating and exchanging photos and documents with Windows users. They have problems with each other!Seeing as there are far more Windows users than Apple users, you may be limiting yourself. Even though Apple products will run Windows, why buy a more expensive Apple machine to run Windows apps?Note that in the guts of modern laptops, the hardware components are mostly just the same for the two lines. There are just a few BIOS and license restriction software bits that distinguish the two brands.

How good Is this laptop for gaming specs: AMD Ryzen 3 2200U 2.5 GHz RAM 4 GB 1 TB HDD Graphic Card AMD Radeon Vega Vega 3 Graphics?

Not so great, the Ryzen 3 2200u is an OK processor, but its not great, wheras the vega 3 graphics are also not so great. Integrated graphics in general are bad, and while the Vega 3 graphics are better than Intels HD 620 its still not great. You will be able to play fortnite on low medium, non demanding games such as Undertale, Shovel Knight, Cuphead, Minecraft and Roblox are also fine. You will NOT be able to play graphically demanding games uch as PUBG, The Witcher 3, and Rize of the Tomb Raider. In additon, downloading and opening games will be pretty slow on your computer due to it having an HDD rather than an SSD.

A lot of laptops with high specs have the i7-4510U which is 2.0GHz. I'm not familiar with the differences in the variations of the i7 processors but will it be good for gaming?

Any of the guys saying that games are solely GPU bound have no idea what they are talking about and tell you hearsay. The i7 model you are asking about is a low power unit meant for multimedia and internet browsing. That U at the end of the processor tells you that the model is meant to maximize battery life, not power. Not only that but that CPU is 4 generations old, as described by the first number in the model number. Right now we are at the eighth generation. That processor is good enough for minecraft, league of legends, world of warcraft and other lightweight/old games. If paired with a powerful graphics card of that era you might get to play the lowest settings on AAA games from last year.

What do i need to do to fix my hp mini 110's lag and frame rate issues?

I dont think you can upgrade the processor on a laptop. And upgrading the RAM is normally hard. You have to find out the maximum ram that your laptop allows, and some OS won't reconize the ram if its duel channel. It is a hard thing to answer to. But to easily solve everything just buy a new laptop.
This computer is very bad for gaming, for minecraft you need good RAM, and a good processor (Intel processors run minecraft good but are more expensive. I reccomend that you buy a new laptop with an intel i3 with atleast 4gb of RAM. As for WOW you would need a fairly good graphics card. Here is a good laptop, but I don't know your budget

This would run WOW and Minecraft with good FPS and no lag.

Will a laptop with Geforce 940M 2GB run (not extremely demanding) games smoothly?

Yes. It won’t be great of course but, it will manage it. The 940m is very much an entry level GPU but should still play most current games at low - med settings. The frame rate won’t be the best and the textures will probably look rough around the edges but, that’s the trade off. The good thing in your favour and as I said in a previous answer to someone else is that, with most current PC games being ports of console games (I.E nerfed), the required specifications necessary to play them on a PC or laptop - even on ultra settings - are no longer through the roof. A half decent setup will play most PC games quite comfortably these days unless it’s a PC exclusive coded primarily to take advantage of the raw power of high end PC’s (think Crysis back in the day).Have a look at these two links:This is an article regarding Mobile GPU’s (if you're thinking of buying a laptop) and is very informative: Tips for buying notebook with decent graphicsThis is also a very useful site as it will analyse your setup and tell you what your system will and won’t run: Requirements Test
