What length compression shorts will go down to the point just above the knee?
Everyone has different length legs, so you need to measure your legs. 10 inches should be short of your knees unless you are very short. Take a tape and measure from your inseam to the point you wan the shorts to come and see what you need.
When running shorts say they are 7", from what points are they measuring?

Why are boxing shorts so high up on the waist compared to MMA shorts which are below the belly button?
Part psychological, part function, part personal preference.Boxers are told not to hit below the waist. So they like pulling it up higher to at least encourage their opponent to aim higher where the elbows can protect easier. You may also feel like your body is more protected when it’s more covered. There’s also the matter of your leg mobility…sometimes in a fight or depending on the shorts you’re wearing, you want them pulled up higher because your legs feel restricted when the crotch is too low.MMA shorts below the belly button or simply being smaller makes sense as to avoid being grabbed or gripped-easily by your opponent. The less clothing you have, the less traction your opponent can have on you.
Help! I wanna buy Nike Women's running shorts for myself in a sports store but i feel embarassed about it. ?
Help me out please! I'll choose a best answers n u can earn points. Ok first of all i'm a guy. U see, a few days ago, i was browsing this sports store in my town. It's quite a big store, has many well known brands like Nike, Adidas, Mizuno, Teva etc. It sells sports wear, sports shoes, sneakers, flip flops, swimwear, t-shirts, boardshorts, sports equipment etc. I was browsing for some running shorts. Those short kind, kinda like 1/4 length, with slit at both sides. Dri-fit material. Something like what marathoners would wear. I went over to look at Nike Men's section n i see many knee length shorts n the running shorts they have are in grey, navy n black kind of colors. Rather drab looking kind of colors, like what i already had. So i went over to the Nike Women's section n saw some really nice looking short running shorts. So i thought it look kinda cool, i felt like buying. But wait a minute, this is the women's section! Besides, the shorts are tagged Nike Women. I guess i need to try on for size before buying, as i want a perfect fit. And i think not all sizes are displayed there so i probably need to call for the sales assistant's assitance. But i feel kinda embarrassed, like what would the SA think of me if i were to try on female clothing. Would he/she think i m gay, or a crossdresser, or a weirdo? So i probably felt nervous n i also didn't wanna hang out in the female clothing section too long. (i was alone by the way). I then left but now i have compulsions to go back there n buy but i feel kinda awkward about it... So what should i do? Thanks for helping me sort out this dilemna

Why do girls wear shorts under their skirts and dresses?
When I was in highschool, I wore a uniform. I'll attach a picture of myself below from a few years ago:(shameless self promotion: follow me if you'd like, I couldn't crop the username out so go ahead)(Also this picture was taken after I got my drivers license)As you can see, the skirt is quite short, now my skirt was abnormally short compared to the other classmates and I couldn't change it… the school changed the uniform and stopped making the skirts in that pattern in my last year of school and they allowed the seniors to keep their old uniform so we didn't need to pay money for a skirt we’d wear for less than a year. So they stopped selling my skirts, and obviously being a teenager, my legs grew longer and the skirt got shorter… I don't particularly want to have to sit with my legs closed for the whole day in fear of showing my underwear, so I wore some lululemon short spandex shorts under it… now I could sit however I wanted, didn't have to be worried about bending over and showing my ass to my classmates and teachers (some of which were male) so it wasn't really an option to not wear those shorts.Hope this helps xK
Is wearing shorts to church bad? If so, why?
Let’s start with a question. What is your purpose for being in church? Most Christians would say that they are there to participate in a service of worship. It’s a time of prayer, confession, contemplation, and praise. It’s a time not just to be with God but to acknowledge that you’re devoting this time to God. That sort of implies a lot of respect for God.So what’s most important is your attitude. If you don’t actually respect God then those other things might not be true. We show respect by how we prepare ourselves for worship and how we conduct ourselves while in worship. Being clean and tidy and neatly dressed and acting modestly are all parts of being respectful. If someone wears shorts because she or he is too lazy to dress more nicely, that’s not respectful. By the same token if someone dresses in an overly flamboyant style in order to attract attention or admiration, that’s not respectful either. The point is that what you wear is really only important insofar as a reflection of why you’re there.What you wear is less important than why you wear it. Do you not have anything neater to wear? Are you on vacation and you forgot to pack any nice clothes? Do you have a scheduling conflict, like a work project right after church, and the only way you can accommodate both is by wearing shorts to church? Then by all means please come to worship dressed as you are! We would much rather have someone in church with the right attitude and the “wrong” clothes than the other way around.
How are soccer shorts supposed to fit?
In the end it all matters what you like. They are suppose to be cut right above the knees but honestly to me that looks a little ridiculous. But i play basketball and soccer so I like the longer shorts that stop right under your knees. There are not suppose to be tight because you need to be able to move your legs freely so dont get them so tight that you cant move your legs.
