What Makes For A Good Video Email

What is the best way to send a video via email?

To send a video through email, especially the videos in large size, the best solution is to uploading the video to YouTube then copy the video URL to Gmail. Moreover, Gmail allows the maximum 25MB attachment and it will reminds you to sent the video as a Google drive link when your videos are over 25MB. Just follow its easy wizard to sent videos as a Google drive.Optionally, you’re able to compress videos with a good compressor. I know wonderfox hd video converter factory can directly compress videos and there is no any noticeable difference on the quality of the compressed videos.By the way , this guide provides three methods to email videos: Guide: How to Send a Video through Email - 3 Methods to Share any Video FilesIf you have any any questions, this guide should be useful.

How to make a video file that is 1.25GB small enough to email....?

At this point you're looking at recoding the video. Winrar will help, but won't squeeze it into 20mb though if you are stuck, winrar CAN split up an archive into 20mb increments.. though mailing a whack of archives isn't fun.

Recoding isn't simple either.. you need to know what you are doing to achieve the filesize you are after. I would use a tool called VirtualDub but again, that's not straightforward. If the software with your camcorder can touch up videos, I'd look around for any option having to do with compression/codecs. Xvid/divx usually have very good filesizes.. but again. If you aren't well versed you are going to have some fun here..

Edit: yes, youtube is an option.. however I know youtube has a filesize limit of about 500mb? 700? Certainly not 1.25gb. Perhaps if you can manage it, split the movie into like 3 pieces and post those to youtube?

How long does it take to send a video email?

First...if it is over 10MB you might not be able to send it because most recipients cannot receive anything larger. Some..like me..can receive 20mb..I obtained that by being classified as a power mailer (send lots of them) Anyway, if the person you are sending them to is able to receive the size of the video being send it should not take anytime at all...
If they are not receiving them then the problem is on their end...good luck
