What Makeup Can I Add To This Tigress Halloween Costume To Make It Better

What are some good halloween costume ideas for 7th grade girls?

Here are some really unusual ideas, if you don't mind...
a close friend of mine went as a table one year. It was hilarious, she used a cardboard box with a cutout for her head, decorated with a tablecloth, and glued dishes of paper food onto it.
Another friend of mine was an engine. Again, with a cardboard box worn over the body.
You could dress up as a football player, complete with shoulder pads and all...believe it or not, guys love it !
Or a nerd. Another friend did this--dorky glasses, tucked in shirt, pigtails, and suspenders!
Or pull an oversized shirt over your head, and pretend you're headless. Make sure the shirt is kinda see-through (or add eyeholes), and add a pumpkin head or something to complete the look!
Or a Hawaiian dancer--you know, with coconut bra (lol), a grass skirt, and a lei necklace!
Or, just bring a crazy mask, put on a slopping labcoat and go as a mad scientist =P
A devil is always a "hot" look--pitchfork, dark makeup, horns, a tail, and a little skirt...
I've seen all of this last year when I was a seventh grader!

Hope this helped!

What are some makeup ideas for a tiger costume?

There are many tiger based textile patterns out there. Some even suggest a furry texture. A zippered body suit covering both hands and feet (and even a portion of the head) should do the trick in constituting the majority of the costume. Add a luxurious long tail to complete the look. Hot glue long fingernails onto the costume for claws. Give the claws and "aged look" with coffee stains.  Orange, black and white makeup could be used on the face for tiger stripes. Add a cat eared furry round cap to top it off. Place a few plastic whiskers, dots and a black nose and you got the basic elements for a tiger costume. Think how the make-up was used in the play CATS and you will get essential the idea.    If you can handle contact lens you might even be able to get "cat or tiger" eyes to make the costume seem even more authentic. Having a recording device of a tiger roar and being able to play it back at will might add that ultra convincing touch.

How could I make a cool Kalinago costume for Halloween?

Kalinago Indian Woman Costume: Get a two-piece crop top that exposes your navel and belly button and a skirt ensemble. Get a Native American wig and a flower or headband for your hair. This is based on how Kalinago women wore cotton skirts and flowers in their hair.Kalinago Indian Woman Celebration Costume: Get an Indian wig, fabrics around your waist and backside (like what the Karina Cultural Group wears), and a headband with a feather sticking out of it or a feather headdress, you should be all set. To get more elaborate, put on a little eyeliner around your eyes (black dye), red paint (roucou dye) on your arm, a shell necklace, small bracelet for your arm and anklet for your leg.Kalinago Indian Warrior/Chief/Priest Celebration Costume: Wear a fitted breechcloth, gold necklace for a chief or priest or necklace with teeth and bones for a warrior, red paint markings on your face, and a feather headdress. This is based on how affluent Kalinago men wore roucou dye face markings, headdressed ringed with feathers (esp. parrot ones), gold necklaces or bone and teeth necklaces, and fitted loinclothes.Kalinago Indian Man Everyday Costume: Just wear a fitted breechcloth and a feather in your hair.White-Dominican Corina Costume: Wear a bodice with long sleeves and a knee-length skirt‚ simple flats, and a low ponytail.German Noblewoman Corina Costume: Wear a long dirndl or a long dress with sleeves, simple flats, and your hair down or in a fishtail braid.Corina Full Moon Ritual Kalinago Costume: DDo one of the Kalinago woman costumes, play Lilly Michaelis's Listen With Your Heart Instrumental, be in a beautiful Dominican nature spot with a full moon praying, take a video as a nice Halloween video. (You could even make tour own Kalinago-inspired meditation music with flutes, and even drums!Note: American Indians had olive or tan skin (or even red), and straight black hair, which many Halloween trick-or-treaters don't (except in Corina's case, who had very light tan skin). To get even more authentic, you may need wigs and makeup to complete these costumes, whether you're dressing as a Beautiful Sweet Kalinago Maiden, Kalinago Pocahontas, Snooty Kalinago Princess, Kalinago Tiger Lily, Stoic Kalinago Chief, Brave Kalinago Warrior, or Mystical Kalinago Priest.

Do skunks have whiskers like a cat? For a baby halloween costume? Your plans for halloween?

My 11 month old daughter is going to be a skunk for halloween today. The costume is absolutely ADORABLE! I wanted to get some child safe face make up/paint and give her a little pink nose and whiskers.. But then I was sure if skunks even have whiskers.. Do they? Either way it would be cute haha. But I wanted to check. Thanks. =)

Halloween makeup that is Cheep, doesn't make crack, or itchy face paint ?

Thinking to paint my face as Skelton, like lady gaga did.
To do so, need white color to cover my face.

I see lots of face painting kit at halloween store, pharmacy.
But those are dry up ,cracked, itchy and uncomfortable.

So I need to find better option.
Lower price is better.
I'm thinking about make up for ever. But it isn't cheap at all.

Any suggestion ?

Thank you.

Do you think it is racist to dress up as another culture for halloween?

Well, here are the problems...

1) There are some things that should NEVER be worn as costumes, such as ceremonial regalia, because they aren't MEANT as fun costumes and even wearing them outside of the context they're supposed to be worn in would be insulting.
2) 99% of people who want to dress up as, say, a geisha for Halloween aren't going to put ANY kind of research into their costume beyond googling "geisha costume" and picking the first satin bathrobe monstrosity that catches their fancy. Putting together a 100% authentic geisha costume would require tens of thousands of dollars and connections to the real geisha world. Even putting together a reasonable substitute using regular kimono and regular kimono accessories in place of the super-rare and expensive real maiko or geisha pieces (which, by the way, is something actually done in Japan by the dozens of photo studios offering maiko and geisha dress-up options) could take weeks or even months of research and hundreds or thousands of dollars to put together. That's not something most people are willing to do for a Halloween costume.
3) These kinds of costumes tend to be based on stereotypes instead of on any kind of real research and they show no respect for the culture the costume is supposed to be coming from. For example, most "geisha" costumes out there feed off of the ideas that geisha are prostitutes and that Asian women are submissive little sex kittens who exist only for the pleasure of men. Neither idea is true. They also tend to look generically Asian, and may even incorporate things that are blatantly NOT Japanese, thus feeding off of and contributing to the idea that all Asian cultures are the same and therefore interchangeable. This is also not true.

In my opinion, there are some costumes that could just never be done well, like "Indian princess." Some costumes, like geisha, could be done well but only if the person doing it was willing to put in a LOT of time and effort to get the costume as authentic as possible. Even then someone might be offended, and you know what...people have a right to feel their feelings and to be offended by people dressing up as members of different races or cultures for Halloween if they want to.
