What Makeup Colors Should I Use

What makeup colors should I wear with a light blue blouse?

Hi!I disagree a bit with Lisa, but you’ll see why after :)Here are three styles I like with blue blouse:Wearing gold/bronze eyeshadows (gold to brown, bronze or warm neutrals with reddish/copper tones - like Naked 1, some of the golden shades of the Sweet Peach Palette from Too Faced - I think that’s the name - or NYX’s palette in Warm Tones. I also like my Charlotte Tillbury Luxury Palette in Vintage Vamp) and a red lipstick (I like the Rimmel x Kate 107, and NYX’s Suede matte liquid lipstick in Monte Carlo amongst many others);Wearing pink and purple eyeshadows - again, like in Naked 1, or also the ones in Naked Smoky - with a pink lip: Tanya Burr’s Martha Moo and Burt’s Bees Blush Basin amongst many others; Finally shades of grey/navy blue/black on the eyes (this is where I disagree with Lisa, I personally think it can be very elegant and make for a very beautiful eye make up with a blue blouse) like in the Naked Smoky Palette, with either of the other two lipstick propositions or a Nude, like my Charlotte Tillbury’s Pillow Talk, or Tanya Burr’s Bear Hugs if you feel like something very discreet.I like spaaarkly eyeshadows, but matte works great too!Hope this helps you a little - clearly you can find loads of dupes for these suggestions, but at least you have an idea of the shades I’m talking about!

What color makeup do you wear with a grey dress?

Because it's gray, you have two options: neutral or bold.
If you're going with either one, the smoky eye is a great way to go:
"Smoky is usually greys, deep, dark purples and blues, etc. To do a smoky look I advise you to do a dark eyeliner (not too much!!), then put some deep, dark purple and/or blue on your lids. Blend the purple with grey and blue at the crease and a little grey on the browbones...However I am not an expert I advise to try it first!!! : )
P.S. Check out Carmindy on what not to wear on TLC; she knows all about the smoky look!" (I answered this on a different Q)
Or, if you'd rather not, you can go super bold - try bright colors like pink to make eyes pop. To make it more going out than grade school, just use one part of your eye makeup (shadow, liner, mascara) in the color. Liner will make your eyes pop, without overdoing it. Mascara in plum or navy is a subtle way to add some interest.
And last but not least, if you don't like any of these, try a plain, neutral eye. Put a metallic-y charcoal on your lids, and blend silver from your crease to your browbone. Add iridescent, black, grey, silver, or whatever color you'd like for eyeliner and mascara. Just make sure, if you're going metallic/glitter, to not overdo it - only use glitter in one of your three eye makeup parts.
Hope this helps!

as for makeup.. any plum/purple shades will bring out your green eyes

for the bronzer, just use a large fluffy brush and swirl it over your cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. It will make your face look sun-kissed and healthy.. when the colors are blended together it will create a natural bronze look

What color makeup do I wear with a yellow shirt?

Ya I'd have to agree your makeup looks good. Umm depending when ur wearing the yellow shirt (night or day) (dressing it up or more casual) I'd say if its during the day do like a brown (maybe a little shimmer) with a little darker brown in the corner..chanel makes really pretty browns..with a dark brown eyelinner. Or, if night I'd say blackish gray color with thin black line. Wearing yellow just do your eyes as if u were wearing white or black. Like grays, browns, they are pretty for your eye color and skin tone..lips you can switch it up, a nude color, to a pretty brown color, I wouldn't say a bright red. Also, if you do a grey shadow you can take a black pencil (I use mac smolder) and blend it in all over my lid, so it gets darker. But I do not use mac inside my eye or on the bottom it gets too smeary. if you need anymore help you can send me an email, I'm trying to do makeup as a career. I reccomend lash blast mascara also, by covergirl. Its amazing!
