The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Answer Please!?
Okay. Lately I've been getting some good responses to the same question: "WILL there be a Season 3 of TMoHS?" Some of the answers included: 1. Endless Eight ruined any chances 2. Disappearance was a good way to end it 3. Aya Hirano's current status (Sex scandal wise, health wise) doesn't allow her to voice Haruhi Allow me to clear things up so that more updated answers can be given. 1. Disappearance was a HUGE success, more than enough to make up for Endless Eight. Also, if fans actually looked closely at the E.E. arc, they would know there is a significant connection between the arc and Disappearance itself, as it is about Yuki dealing with 595 years of the same thing, and in Disappearance it is because of an overload of "errors," or emotions which were likely caused by everything she had went through. 2. Yes, Disappearance was in fact an excellent movie, but it sort of.. didn't 'feel' right to end it there. If you remember what Nagato says, she says that she will continue to develop these "errors" etc. etc. Also, the light novels are still in production, so there shouldn't be any issue regarding a continuation of the series. After all, the fans themselves want a third season, therefore it wouldn't be KyoAni "milking the series for money." 3. Yes, I have heard and read about Aya Hirano's scandal as well the subsequent disbandment of her band. However, take note of what she did, and what kind of consequences she's in, yet we have the same exact thing with certain celebrities in the West, yet they are still celebrities doing their jobs. So why is it that Hirano isn't allowed to VA Haruhi? Despite Hirano's departure of her VA agency, there is still a possibility of her being able to voice Haruhi. My question is: Is there really no Season 3? Please post proof! Thanks!

Hello~^^ I watched The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya anime, and I absolutely loved it. So, i thought i should give the manga a try. Should I read the whole manga from start to finish, or just pick up where the anime left off? How much does the anime cover of them manga/does the anime leave out important things that were included in the manga? I just want to know if it's worth starting from the beginning or if the anime is pretty much a repeat of the manga. Thank you ^^

It no longer needs the advertisment it's anime provided, therefore it probably won't continue.It happens to a lot of anime, my temporary favorite "The Daily Lives of High School Boys" was a victim of this same thing. My only advice would be to either read the manga, or let go and move on. I give you my condolences
What would happen if Anime and Manga vs Comics and Graphic Novels?
A2AThis is like asking "what would happen if every person on earth, down to the smallest child and up to the oldest person alive, suddenly fought to the death?" There's literally no way to even sort of predict what the outcome would be. You can't simply pare the selection down to the "ridiculous" level with gods and such either, because the entire GENRE we're talking about is riddled with stories about "plucky team of heroes defeating an unstoppable menace." That's the plot to like 70% of comics and anime/manga. 90% if you allow "single person" and "team" to be used interchangeably.And even IF you could pare it down to just a few of the S++++ tier characters, you still can't really predict an outcome because the rules of the universes are so different. The Flash is easily an S+++ tier character, but only under certain circumstances (does the Speed Force exist in this universe? Are they on land? Do physics work the same here?). When do you decide that characters like Goku or Doomsday have "lost" the fight - they both kind of just come back stronger every single time they die, but they DO die. Which iteration of Death is the ACTUAL embodiment of Death, because that could cripple some powerful characters (does the Death Note work? Or does Death from Marvel just slap the pathetic "death spirit" in the face and laugh at him before consuming his soul?). Same goes for all the "embodiment of x" characters, surely they can't ALL be light/love/death/time/whatever, or else they're effectively hitting themselves. And even IF you could figure out the rules, then it just comes down to fanboy bickering. People still think Goku could beat Superman and that's just hilariously false, unless you take Superman on his worst day ever and pit him up against Goku on his best day ever. People will vehemently defend the things they like with no logic, because there IS no logic behind people who can teleport and turn into bears and shit. Hell, things are even inconsistent in-universe. Things like "Punisher kills the Marvel Universe" exist, do those mean that the Punisher is the strongest hero in the entire Marvel Universe? No. It means an author got bored and did a "what if" story to please fans.This question has no answer, it cannot be determined who would be left after this fight unless all the authors of all of the respective characters (some of whom are dead) got together and wrote out the fight. That's the only possible way to get an answer to this.
I've watched the famous anime/manga that everyone's heard of, but I would like to see some other stuff too. Can anyone give me some suggestions? (I've seen: Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, Black Butler... ...)
First, let me tell you of some really good manhwas (korean 'mangas'):- The Breaker and its sequel The Breaker: New Waves (Action-Martial Arts).- Noblesse (Action-Comedy).- Tower of God (Action-Adventure)Good mangas or animes:- Gintama (I should've put this one first, it's mainly a gag comedy manga/anime, but it also has some good action arcs, just a suggestion: be patient, it can take at least 20 to 50 episodes till you get hooked up).- Toriko- Cowboy Bebop (Only anime)- Samurai Champloo (Only anime)- Rurouni Kenshin (I prefer the manga, but look for yourself)- Hunter x Hunter (Some have already mentioned this one but it's really good, if you want to wacht the anime, watch the 2011 reboot, the animation is better and it's true to the manga).- Beelzebub (It's an action gag manga/anime, the anime ending is invented so then take the manga).- Onepunch-Man (It's an action gag manga, more gag than anything, its anime is coming this october)- VagabondYou didn't mention any sports mangas/animes but just in case you like them, here are some:- Kuroko no Basket (It has 3 seasons, 3 ovas I think and a manga sequel)- Slam Dunk - Prince of Tennis- Eyeshield 21 (It's about american football)- Haikyuu (It's about volleyball)

1. Favorite Anime and why? Elfen lied. I love elfen lied because it really made me think about life, and how twisted and corrupt this world is. It also made me cry in the first episode, and then every episode after that. 2. Favorite Manga and why? My favorite manga is probably Absolute boyfriend because it is adorable and hilarious. 3. Favorite anime couple? My favorite anime couple has got to be Tohru Honda and yuki sohma from Fruits Basket. Yeah yeah I know everyone loves kyo and her, but yuki will always have a special place before kyo for some odd reason. 4. Favorite manga couple? My favorite manga couple would probably be Zero and Yuki Cross from vampire knight. They have such an amazing chemistry. 5. First anime you watched and why? The first anime that I watched was Ginga Densetsu weed. I came across an episode by accident on youtube and fell in love. Great for dog/wolf lovers. 6. First manga you bought/read?
