What Map Score Do U Have To Get To Move On To Geometry

Geometry question? help me please?!!?

Hi-

So honors geometry class just started, but we have lots of homework already. I did most of it :) But this one I don't know how to do, the teacher didn't teach us :( Please help me!

The Dutch Delta Plan controls the flow of the Atlantic Ocean on the SW coast of the Netherlands. The system was built using a grid of nylon mattresses with graded gravel and rocks to support concrete piers and steel gates.

The horizontal axis is labeled with letters and the vertical axis is labeled with numbers. Suppose the 1st five piers were placed at 5B, 2K, 8D, 7A, and 12E.

Draw a graph showing the positions of the first 5 piers.

Alrite, so I know you can't draw it into an answer, but could you tell me how to do this? I seriously have no idea how to do this :( Like after I draw a coordinate plane, how do I label it and stuff. I need help! PLEASE HELP ME!!

THANK YOU SOOO MUCHHH!!!

GEOMETRY HELP PLEASE!!!?

There are 16 cars on a ferris whell
The ferris wheel is a circle, so that is 360 degrees.

to get the angle between each cars: 360/16 = 22.5

16 to 13 has 3 of 22.5 angles, thus: (22.5 degrees) (3)
= 67.5 degrees

What is coordinate geometry? How is it used in real life?

What is Coordinate Geometry?Assume you are a teacher/professor. In a classroom full of students whom you've never met, how would you ask a particular student to stand up and answer your question? There may be many ways, few of them are:Point your finger towards that student.Walk towards his or her seat.Say something like "the person sitting in the 4th row and 5th column", or "the person sitting in the left corner", or "the first student in the second last bench".While method 1 is used quite often, it is not perfect for obvious reasons. However, if someone uses method 3 to point out a student (which is more precise), he or she is inadvertently using the principles of Coordinate Geometry. Coordinate Geometry is nothing but naming a point (student, in our case) based on his position from the axis (walls, in our case).A quick example:Point A is one unit from the vertical line and one unit above the horizontal line, so it is denoted by (1,1). Same goes for points B and C as well. How is it used in real life? One of the most frequently used real life application is Google Maps:When I instruct google maps to tell me the path from Airport to Whitefield (like in the image above), it basically:Finds the shortest possible path (or paths).Tells me the distance and time.Lots and lots of coordinate geometry is used in finding the shortest path and the distance between them. Obviously, there are other concepts involved too. Once we have the distance, an approximate time to travel is calculated based on the traffic.

Geometry question, please help meh?

The itransformation is a translation

It will map (1,1) into (4, -2)
It will map (345, -123) into (318, -126)
It will map (p, q) into (p+3,Q-3)

It will not change the shape or size of any object,
i.e. object is congruent to image'
It will not change the orientation of any object
i.e. object lines are parallel to image lines.

I don't understand this geometry question?

in surv surveying and orienteering, bearings convey information about direction. For Example, the bearing W53.1 degrees N means 53.1TO THE NORTH OF WEST. to find this bearing, face west. then turn 53.1 degrees to the north.

i don't et it must find a boundary of a triangle
please help thank u

What is the reason of using a compass in math class?

when i say compass i mean geometric tool not like the kind that tells you direction the way i see it is you will never use one and on top of that in five years it will be obsolete

Pre algebra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

1. point
2. ray
3. I can't see the symbol
4. line segment
5. parallel
6. light moving from lighthouse
7. "T"
8. parallel
9. point
10. ray

This is pretty easy stuff.

How are environments or maps in video games made?

THE ProcessAs mentioned in my earlier answer about video game developement. How does Ubisoft, EA,Rockstar or any other big game production company make their games? It feels like filling air in an inflatable castle which later on looks like a real environment. Meaning constructing the 2D Objects and inflating it by Pumping Equipment (3D and Level Developer Softwares) it to make it 3D.Here -2D Object is the castle and Pumping machine is the 3D Sotware. They develope 3d modelsĀ  that will make up the game world using a software application such as 3D Studio Max.While playing games like CS AND COD when you are moving you see objects at a stretch but this is just an illusion.Basically they create rendering arts, sketches, models etc..These models and rough process is transformed into extensive documentation, environment modeling, and the placing of game specific entities (actors), usually with the aid of a level editor.3D Softwares are required for this process link is mentioned at the last partSteps -Laying out the large-scale features of the map, such as hills, cities, rooms, tunnels, etc., for players and enemies to move around in the map.Setting Environmental Conditions (Sunny,Snowy,Rain)Gameplay activities such as water falls, rivers puddle squirrelsSpecifying most non-static parts of the environment like door knobs, keys, pillarsAdding details to the environment graphics textures and all.Cut scenes are triggered in certain areas (such as completing the objective and reaching the checkpoint)Some of the software screenshots -Level Editor of WarzoneMap editorsDoors and windowsBackground DetailsWorld of Level Design. Game Level Design and Game Environments. this website is pretty good with new tutorials...World of level designs tutorial. This video includes steps likeĀ  how you would plan the environment and where you can get the ideas...This is an interview of Max Boughen who works at EA & Criterion Games , He is an environment artist.
