What Mark Would This Get English

Make me feel better please, bad English mark!!?

Well, in addition to what everyone else said, you say your dream is to become an author, not an English teacher. If you wanted to be a high school English teacher, then I would worry about getting a 68% in English. But you want to be an author. You don't HAVE to understand Shakespeare to be an author. I'm guessing from your question, your class focuses more on literature comprehension then creative writing, so it isn't really the field you want to go into anyway...

Also, as somebody who has failed several classes in her time (in college, after getting all "A"s in high school), trust me, one bad grade will NOT ruin your life. It's going to be okay!

You still have time to get that grade up as well... maybe not all the way up to a 95% or something, but you can probably get it up at least a grade or two. If you're having trouble, ask your teacher for help! Despite popular opinion, most teachers *do* want to help their students, but you have to ask for it! If your teacher is one of those rare exceptions that actually hates kids and want to see them fail, ask a friend who is doing well to explain things, or see if your school has any sort of tutoring programs... some schools have free ones if money is an issue, and if not, like I said, there's always friends and classmates!

Best of luck, and remember, it's not the end of the world to get a bad grade in high school :)

What is my korean name if my english name is Mark Brian?

What mark should I acquire to get a subject like English at Dhaka University?

You need 20 out of 30 in English to apply for English. Last year I ranked 354th having 20.40 in English and applied for English but as English department had only 15 seats for D Unit, I couldn't make it to English department. If you are from B Unit you need to be within top 150–200 to get into English. From D Unit top 250 gets good subjects and if you have good marks in English you can hope to get into a good department being in the top 350.So, according to my opinion, to get into a good subject from D Unit, your marks should be as follows-Bangla 20+ (out of 30)English 20+ (out of 30)GK 40+ (out of 60)Provided that you have GPA 5.00 in both SSC and HSC

Cbse 2016 English: How much will I get in english if I left 15 marks?

Section A is the mark fetching section. If u have left 15 marks from there, out of 85, you should expect 70-75 because even if you have answered every question corrects they won't give you 5 out of 5 in every question. I secured 92 in english even after doing every answer correct. Though paper was tough last year, you can still think of getting above 75 if the checker is liberal ( which many literature teachers aren't) . Good luck!

How much UMS is a mark worth in AQA English language GCSE?

So, I'm trying to get an A on my English Language GCSE and the final exam is next week.

So my coursework has come out to a good B and my Speaking and listening is a high A - A*, On my mock for my 40% paper I got an A, However apparently I'm still short of an A which is bizaar to me since you'd think having over 60% of the 100% at a grade A would be an overall A.

Can you please tell me how many UMS a mark is worth or, How many marks a UMS is approximately, so I can work out how many more marks I need on my 40% exam next week to secure an A.

I'll be disheartened if I got a B after working so hard. Thank-you.

What kind of marks do i need to get into a good university for english?

It would help if we knew what country you are from and what qualifications you have.

On the CBSE English paper, I have attempted the 97 marks paper. So how many marks can I get?

Firstly attempting 97 marks is good!In my view,Scoring in English depends mainly on THREE factors-Logic - By the word ‘logic’ I mean to say framing logical answers to a question. It simply means to answer a question with proper understanding of the content.Efficiency - It is your capability to write grammatically correct and to the point answers. I don't mean you to become Shakespeare, but frame answers decently that will impress examiner. It’s CBSE, to the point answer is expected. Repeating the same point round and round is useless. And it also includes how efficient you are in solving the grammar questions.Neatness - Last but important factor. Maintaining good handwriting and avoiding scribbling creates a massive impression. Don’t worry, it works at least if you have maintained it for first 3–4 pages and then slowly changed the track. Drawing proper boxes in comprehension is a must to do thing. drawing line (only if time is left after attempting all) after each question provides an extra boost to it.And one more, it somewhat depends on examiner (the pseudo-factor).For Logic, Efficiency and Neatness. It is very challenging to maintain all three in the 3 hours stressed exam time. So, there are chances of mistakes to creep in. And an examiner may spot it and thus you lose marks. Assuming you are confident of your 97 marks, maximum mistakes of 7 to 8 marks may creep in. So you may expect 88+.This is just an assumption. You can analyse yourself the best. All the best!

Can we score a perfect 100% marks in English of CBSE class 10th board exam?

You can follow these tips to get good marks in English:Unseen passage/note making: This is an extremely scoring section and needs the least amount of effort comparatively. Read the passage carefully and you will be able to find the links to answer the questions.Writing skills: Follow formats religiously. Majority of the questions in this section are for 10 marks, divided into 3 marks for format, 4 for content and 3 for fluency/accuracy of English as far as I remember. Look at sample letters, articles from reference books to improve thinking skills and get an idea of presentation. The board examiners would much rather prefer an exhaustive article with lots of ideas and inputs by the student than just repetitive arguments in flowery language.Grammar: Practice, practice, practice. Brush up basic rules and attempt as many questions as possible and learn from the mistakes you make.Literature: Read all the chapters very thoroughly. Specially for poems, write in your book or a separate notepad all that your teacher explains. Having said that, you should also realize that understanding the chapter is not enough as you will be expected to write 7-10 mark answers in the exam. Keeping this in mind, try to attempt past year papers and questions from other reference material and try to frame long answers. Each of these long answers should have an introduction, body and conclusion. Aim for about 150-200 words spread across 3-4 paragraphs.Good luck!!

How to bullshit in english exams and still get good marks?

I attempted 94 marks in English CBSE board exams. How much will I get at the least?

It's very difficult to answer that without knowing you personally. Assuming you're an average student, you shouldn't get anything less than 80. It all depends on how and what you wrote. Well, it's unfortunate that you missed those 6 marks. Actually, today was the first time when I actually managed to finish my English paper on time after getting promoted to class 11! :D
