What Mental Disorder Could I Have If Any

Would I have symptoms of mental disorders?

I know it's stupid asking this on the Internet. However, I have been thinking about this for years.

Up untill I turned 22 I havent really wanted to do anything. (Im turning 25 next month) dont peruse in dating and the last time I did 3 years ago, I didnt even care much for it. I wasnt able to ever orgasm. It was the first girlfriend I had in 4 years. I dont feel like I did in high school. I've been told for the longest time that I'm shy, but I think I'm really just afriad.

I grew up with a workaholic father who pushed me to work since I was 13, hes also a huge alcoholic, too this day. Hes been telling me since I was 10 that hes gonna die in 5 years. I'm assuming it was just a mid life crisis. BUT NOW I think that **** had rubbed onto me.

Most of my friends left, and I dont even bother to hang out with the ones I have left. I always think about doing something interesting. But when i get to it, I think I get depressed and ask myself what the whole point of doing anything if we all die someday.

Ay my new job, multiple people keep telling me I'm negative. I just feel, as why people get their hopes up if, the odds of losing are higher.

I can't seem to get myself to find a doctor, or want to. I dont want anyone to know I feel this way.

What mental disorder do I have?

I'm so sorry to hear this. This is a tough place that you're in - I don't know what I'd do if I lost one of my parents.I don't even want to think about it.First of all, I'd like to say that there is nothing wrong with you. You're a human being. You're suffering from grief, shock, anger, rage. You seem to have clinical depression. Everything you describe yourself as feeling is totally understandable given your circumstances.Stop fighting your feelings and tying yourself into knots resisting yourself. Obviously, resist any temptation towards violence - but I didn't need to tell you that, you're doing that already. I believe it is recommended that you take out your anger on a passive object...I'm not really sure that's the answer, though.I'd recommend reading When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chodron. As others have said, you need professional help. To start with, go see a counsellor. Your school should have one. There's nothing shameful about seeing a counsellor. Many of my students have been; adolescence is a tricky phase, even when you're not faced with such a huge personal loss. Tough guys seek psychiatric help. It takes guts to see a psychiatrist. See what facilities your school offers first, but do go to the psychiatrist. They can prescribe medication.Good luck. And, if it's worth anything, hugs from a total stranger on the internet.

Did sigmund freud have any mental disorders? if so where can I find information?

He suffered from an extreme Oedipal complex and was an avid coke user. He was neurotic and obsessive, the oldest of 8 children, his mothers favorite. He himself had six children, the youngest of which was Anna Freud. She studied under him and actually underwent psychological treatment in his care, which is considered to be controvercial due to his strong emphasis on psychosexual urges felt by children towards their parents. She is a rather famous figure in psychoanalysis. To find out more about him, you could look up any of this and I'm sure you'd find something.

How can you tell if a person is normal or having a mental disorder?

Mental disorders are, by definition, “all in your head”. That doesn’t make them any less real.If you’ve been diagnosed with a mental disorder, you probably have one. If you’re still not convinced, seek a second opinion. If you haven’t been diagnosed, you can know by talking to a mental health professional. Information about your mental health, like information about your physical health, is protected by very strict privacy laws. Seeing a mental health professional will not reflect badly on you, and no one has to know unless you want to tell them.

What mental disorder does Alex from A Clockwork Orange suffer from?

Well, 3 of the following could be Antisocial Personality Disorder:

(1) failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest

(2) deceitfulness, as indicated by repeated lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure

(3) impulsivity or failure to plan ahead

(4) irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults

(5) reckless disregard for safety of self or others

(6) consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations

(7) lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another

And 5 or more of the following indicates Narcissistic Personality Disorder:

(1) has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

(2) is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

(3) believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

(4) requires excessive admiration

(5) has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations

(6) is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

(7) lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others

(8) is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her

(9) shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

So I would definitely say Antisocial, with some Narcissistic traits?

Can major mental diseases (personality disorders, psychotic disorders) be passed to next generations genetacly

Sure. Just like physical attributes that express by skipping a generation, mental attributes can also do the same. Genes affect your disposition for all kinds of health issues. Sometimes they skip a generation because the specific combination of genes wasn't expressed in the middle generation and instead lie dormant only to be passed on and re-expressed a generation later. Whether or not it expresses is really a matter of statistics. There is a chance it will get expressed and there is a chance it won't. Only rarely, when both parents have the same gene do the odds get stacked in favor of one chance or the other.

Hope this helps
