What Movie Is The Scene Coppied From In Scary Movie 5 Where The Woman Sacrifices Her Kids By

What are your top 5 funniest movie scenes of all time?

1) The pod scene in This is Spinal Tap
2) The scene in A Fish Called Wanda where the animal lover watches the dog get crushed by a piano (you had to be there, seriously, it's hilarious).

I'll be back when I think of more.. these are two that come to mind right now. :-D

omg. I forgot... the scene in Super Troopers when the cop pretends to be a crook (in disguise) getting away from the cops. he has hijacked a police car with teenage stoners in the back, and he takes off, pretending to be getting away from the police. Asks the kids "You boys want to go to mexeeeecoooohhhhh?" Drives like a maniac and the stoned boys are terrified.. it's a hilarious scene.

That and the scene where the stoned boys are pulled over to the side of the road.. and the cops are messing with them, right behind them on the side of the road, on the microphone, yelling at the boys to "pull the vehicle to the side of the road." well, the boys are already on the side of the road, stoned as they can be, they dont' know what to do to make the cops happy.. and they're freaked out that they're high and the cops will notice.

ahhh.. super troopers. that's good comedy. lolol.

good question!

Is the movie A Christmas Carol scary?

It is Rated PG for scary sequences and images.
and in detail some of the Frightening/Intense Scenes

The ghosts that visit Scrooge can be frightening in their own ways. Young children might be most frightened of Jacob Marley's ghost whose appearance is ghoulish and who wails loudly. At one point, his jaw becomes unhinged and he continues trying talking to Scrooge like that until he re-fastens his jaw.

The Ghost of Christmas Present reveals two malnourished, angry children who represent Ignorance and Want who each act savage-like and insane.

The Ghost of Christmas Present dies a somewhat disturbing death. As a clock tolls, he ages and becomes a skeleton who then fades to dust all while laughing.

The Christmas Yet to Come sequence can frighten young children.

Fear of death is a theme that runs throughout the film.

Name of Movie - Mom Kills Her Kids?

Yay I found it! The Mommy Market is a comedy-fantasy about three children who erase the memory of their mother through a magic spell and go to The Mommy Market to select a new mother. A hard-working single mom has her hands full with three energetic young children, so she is sometimes short-tempered. The kids are unhappy with mom and discuss their situation with an elderly friend, Mrs. Cavour. Young Harry believes Mrs. Cavour possesses magical powers and, although the older Elizabeth doubts this, there is something wise and mystical about the woman. The children wish they could get a new mother who would be perfect, so Mrs. Cavour tells them the magic words to say that would erase the memory of their mother. If it works she'll be gone and they can go to The Mommy Market to pick out a new mother.

Often because invariably the horror movie is a low budget B-grade affair, meaning the acting is poor and the ‘horror’ part cliched (eg the typical walking backwards into a darkened room). One particular memorable incident of laughing at an inappropriate moment was watching Psycho II.The original Psycho is quite rightly viewed as horror classic and was a massive hit (it was made for under $1 million and took in over $50 million at the Box office: the equivalent today of ~$10 million and $600 million). Alfred Hitchcock as a rule never made sequels, so Hollywood had to wait until a few years after his death before milking the Psycho franchise.Their first foray was Psycho II in 1983, which arrived in NZ in 1984.My mum was a huge fan of Hitchcock and saw Psycho when it first came out*. However she's not a fan of horror movies, but she still wanted to see the sequel. So I agreed to go along with her, as long as I could get paid in chocolate bars and ice cream. The sequel was as bad as expected. A slasher flick, nothing more. Gone was the suspense; in place was lots of blood and 1980s standard trite horror movie cliches.I soon became bored. At one particular scene the latest victim does the standard ′80’s screaming schlock just before her gruesome death. In this case her death was having a knife rammed through into her open screaming mouth:At which point I momentarily forgot I was in a movie theatre and said, “That shut her up” a bit too loudly. My mum, and indeed everyone nearby burst out laughing. Not the effect the movie-makers were going for.*Aside: mum used to tell a hilarious story of when she went to see the original Psycho in 1961 as a college student with her landlady. At the end of the movie, the landlady's husband was supposed to pick them up. He didn't show so they started walking home in the dark. They were both still shaken by the movie and thought someone - Norman Bates himself? - was following them. So they started walking quicker and quicker until they were running. Mum’s Landlady was an immensely fat middle-aged woman and she broke a heel during their escape from Norman Bates. She quickly picked her shoe up and continued running, hobbling on one high heel and one bare foot, clutching her broken shoe to her gasping chest. Her husband finally showed up in their car as they were mid-way home. The landlady spent the drive back home yelling at her husband for his tardiness and hitting him on the head with the broken shoe.

What horror movie cliches do you find annoying?

-Cops don't believe a phone call from a victim in danger. -Deformed or "ugly" people kill people. (Way overused and cliche. The Hills Have Eyes, Wrong Turn, A Nightmare on Elm Street, etc.) -Bring in a Priest or Psychic when things get strange. -The phones don't work. (For whatever reason, there's no signal, the phone cord is cut, the power's out). -Fake jump scenes. (An extremely popular trend in horror right now is to have suspenseful music that makes you think something's going to jump, but it just ends up being a friend or something. Overused and in bad taste) -Regular jump scenes. Now, to be fair, some are okay, but don't rely on them for the majority of your scares. A movie can be scary without forcing you to jump. It's a cheap scare, and it's just not good. -Cop is trying to calm the victim down, but gets killed himself. -Car won't start. And by extension "We're out of gas, let's pull into that creepy, abandoned gas station -Everything conveniently falls into place. (Oh hey, there just happens to be a loaded gun here, ready for me.) -The killer never dies. (or can't die, or it's ridiculously hard to kill them.) -Blame the kids! (something goes wrong, they always blame the kid, no matter what.) This is actually the one that probably annoys me the most. -There's a killer on the loose...let's get drunk and party! -A scary noise is heard outside (let's see who's there.) Realistically, they'd lock the doors and call the cops or something.
