What Movie Is This Description Of A Scene Down .

How do I break down scenes in a script?

Don't fall under the Paralysis of Analysis. While it's good to have a general idea of scenes (I prefer to call them "moments"), which you can showcase in broad strokes through something as simple as a bullet point list or index cards, what you don't want to do is list each and every scene before you write the script. There NEEDS to be some discovery through the writing process. You have to leave yourself some breathing room. If you don't, I promise you that your script will suffer. Have the broad strokes in your head and then just start writing the script from page one. Let's say you write 10 pages on day one. On day two, read those pages and then continue on. Let's say you wrote another 10 more. On day three, read 1-20 and then continue on. This will keep you on form and on the same page with your past self. I never write down major scene breakdowns and CERTAINLY don't use beat sheets. Give yourself some freedom. Know the broad strokes and then go find your characters and stories to connect the dots.

Why are streets wet down in movies?

It is largely just for aesthetics but it also could be used to bounce(reflect) light up from the ground. It is a way to add contrast. If you think about when you are driving after it rains and the roads are wet. The lights seem brighter (as well as reflected) this is because the roads are darker so the the contrast is greater from the light and dark.

In many movies and TV scenes streets are wet down when it's not raining. Why?

Thanks for the A 2 A,I like the other answers provided as they give the simple answer to your question. Movies, like all photography, are all about light and shadow and manipulating it to create both clear images and mood. We tend to see the image on screen and assume that is what it really looked like when it was shot. Usually, there are all sorts of additional lights, reflector screens, deflection surfaces etc. They never appear on camera. In addition to these physical light manipulators, there are lenses and filters on the camera itself and effects that can be added in post production as well.As to wet pavement, sometimes it is just a factor in the tight location shooting schedule. Location shooting is very popular but most municipalities will issue permits only for specific days and times. You have to get it done during that time and can't wait for the weather to clear, so canopies are put up to cover the shooting area. I have seen scenes shot during dry weather where it is raining on set. It is all done with water sprayers and fans. I have seen day time scenes shot at night and night time scenes shot during the day. It's amazing what a blue filter will do to make broad daylight look like night!

Watership Down - Badger scene!!!?

I think it was just gibberish, I used to watch movie all the time when I was a little kid. My kids won't watch it now a day cause it scares them. I always thought it was just scared jibberish. I could be wrong, but now that you mention it, that part is kind of funny.

What is the name of the movie featuring a scene where a guy rolls down (both head and feet) a stair case with two pistols while shooting?

Sounds like the train station scene from The Untouchables. It is a beautifully choreographed scene in which Kevin Costner takes out several mob guys while protecting a baby carriage going down the marble stairs of the Union Station in Chicago. He somehow manages to preserve life (the innocent life of the child) while “taking out” the mob guys stopping him from arresting an accountant. Costner, as Elliot Ness, needs to get to the accountant to make the guy to testify against Al Capone.A brilliant movie, even if it challenges some of my liberal sensibilities.
