What Movie Is This I Can

What type of movies do you like to watch?

What kinds of movies do you most enjoy? Why?Family comedies with happy endings. The older I get, the less I like horror, angsty movies, message movies, fighting, bad guys, stupidity, bad science, and crudeness.I dislike those kinds of movies, because I get way too much of that unpleasant stuff in real life. I don’t want anymore in my entertainment.99% of the movies I like are comedies. Especially comedies about families, friendships, and romance. With all the irritations and pains that come from having a 77 year-old body, I need all the humor I can get.I like science fiction if it doesn’t have too much bad science. I can accept impossible things like time travel, if they’re the main point of the movie, but most everything else should be realistic. I don’t like most stuff they call science fiction because they’re really horror.I don’t like message movies because at my age, I find most messages to be rather childish.

What movie is this?

Ricky Bobby: I've sent in my application to the Real World. So I'm hoping to hear back from that. I'm putting A LOT of my eggs into that basket, the MTV basket. I'm also thinking about getting a gun, and dealing crack. Being a crack dealer. Not like a mean crack dealer, but like... like a nice one. Kinda friendly like, "hey, what's up guys? Want some crack?" I'm just waiting on those two things to flesh themselves out.

It is "Talladega Nights . . . "

What movie is the quote "I can fix that" from?

Sam in the movie "Holes" is notoriously known for saying that.

What movie can you watch over and over and never get tired of? I need ideas for good movies.

Star Wars, any of them except for the Phantom Menace. They are action packed, along with strategy, romance, humor, amazing actors/actresses (such as Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, and more).Princess Bride. This movie transcends all time. It has everything. Drama, comedy, action, romance, thriller, you name it. Without spoiling the movie, there's not much I can say, except it is a must watch. As always in this conversation, you have got to think about the kind of movie. What kind of movie do you like?Comedy: anything with Adam Sandler pretty much, I mean, honestly, he's the king. But also hit up some great Eddie Murphy movies.Action: you can't go wrong with the Bourne series. They have some repetitive aspects to them, but this is Matt Damon at his finest.Horror: go with this hehe classic Excorcist. Honestly the more times you watch it the more creepy it gets as you begin to understand different aspects of it.Romance: yikes. Don't watch too many of these, but I'd honestly say a modernized Shakespeare off of the Taming of The Shrew. It has Heath Ledger in it (and you can't go wrong with Batman so…) and is just a great movie. I can't think of the name of it, but if you look it up, great movie.Sci-fi: Star Wars all the way!!! And if you're into such heresy: Star Trek the new ones. Lol.Marvel/DC: Really in my opinion the TV shows are better. Arrow, Flash, etc. But if you don't mind raunchy but hillarious, go with Deadpool. It's got the whole range of what makes a great super hero/anti hero movie, as well as possibly the most hilarious movie ever made. If not into such things, a family friendly bunch of movies is the Spider-Man movies with Toby McGuire. On and on the list goes.

What movies can you watch all the time and never get tired of watching?

Pulp FictionPulp Fiction (1994)My views: Combination of violence and bold dialogues. Having watched it over 10 times already and can still go more. This is one of the movies which never bore and remains as fresh as when you had watched it the first time. Basic reason for me liking it is basically it’s dialogues and the way story reveals itself leaving you in awe and THE SOUNDTRACK (Addictive AF).Synopsis:The lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption.2. Baby DriverBaby Driver (2017)My views: Style over Substance, well not really. This movie gets you the adrenaline gush you always looked for in a movie, everything’s choreographed on the beat of the background score, be it the chase scene, or people talking in the background, etc. And the soundtrack, perfect choice of the songs in every scene.Synopsis:After being coerced into working for a crime boss, a young getaway driver finds himself taking part in a heist doomed to fail.3. Gangs of WasseypurGangs of Wasseypur (2012)My Views: One of a kind Indian Mafia style movie. Be it storytelling, acting and soundtrack, all fit perfectly within each scene. *gasp*Synopsis:A clash between Sultan and Shahid Khan leads to the expulsion of Khan from Wasseypur, and ignites a deadly blood feud spanning three generations.A few other movies worth repetitive watch are:La La Land (2016)The Dark Knight (2008) (This is more than a superhero movie and that’s why it’s one of the greatest and fresh to watch every time)Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) (Visually fantastic)Whiplash (2014)The Godfather Trilogy (Except the third part)The Wolf of Wall Street (2013) (Cringe-Worthy and entertaining)Inception (2010)(Even though a heavy on mind to watch)Good Will Hunting (1997)12 Angry Men (1957) (A One room based movie)Goodfellas (1990)Pirates of the Caribbean trilogyPlanet of the Apes Trilogy(2011–2017)PS: Also any movie directed by Quentin Tarantino and Edgar Wright(except Ant-Man where he only got to do the screenplay) is worth multiple watch. These are few of the lot and can watch it all the time and not get bored.

What is the name of the movie where it has the guy saying "I can fix that"?

I remember seeing this movie and I swear its this young guy saying "I can fix that" in a really sweet way but I can't remember what the movie is. I think its The Blind Side, but my friend said she doesnt think so. Does anyone know? My other friend said from the movie Holes, which thats not what I remember it from...anyone? lol

How can some people watch movies over and over again, while others like myself can only watch any movie once or twice?

People that watch a movie multiple time often have an emotional connection to the movie. Meaning that the movie evokes a specific emotion to the person. For example, the climax to The Breakfast Club is an impromptu "group therapy" session and the biases the characters confront amongst themselves were the same ones I had been dealing with. It should be no surprise that I've watched The Breakfast Club more than 30 times. The same for the movie Fame (1980). The movie hit the right emotions in me. I don't have a good answer to why some people don't like to watch a movie again. Perhaps they just haven't "found" the right movie yet, or have shorter attention spans so get bored before the two hour movie can connect with them.

Why I can't find some movies on Netflix?

I assume you’re talking about the streaming plan that the company Netflix offers, since their DVD plan is now referred to as DVD dot com (or something like that). The streaming service offers *A LOT* of content. The creators of that content need to be paid. If everyone that works on those films relied solely on Netflix for their payment, you’re talking an annual income of maybe $1.00. It costs hundreds of dollars to make even the most inexpensive movie. The one exception to that might be THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, but it still cost the filmmakers more than a dollar to make. They’d have to wait until they’re past retirement age to see any profit at the annual rate of $1 a year. And there are movies that are much better than THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT that don’t severely predate the existence of Netflix as FORREST GUMP and E.T. do. Those movies have made their money. Would they have done so if Netflix existed at that time? Now imagine if Netflix DID have everything that ever existed. The annual profit of any given filmmaker would be that much more divided and for what reason? Nobody has time to watch every good movie Netflix *does* have. If there’s a movie that Netflix doesn’t have and you feel strongly about seeing it, you can either wait for Netflix to have it assuming they ever do or you can buy it —- or rent it online through the vast array of streaming services available or use Redbox if it’s a current enough movie or use Netflix’s DVD service.

Is there a website where you can keep track of movies you have already seen, and perhaps one that gives suggestions for movies you should see?

I love to keep a track of movies and TV shows that I watch. I went through almost all of the websites given in the answers and wanted to compare each one of them - Letterboxd - If you want to keep a diary of movies which also gives you an option to enter date of the movie watched, this is a good option. You can mark movies as 're-watched' also. You can follow people, create a network, write a review, rate the movie on a scale of 1-5.  The UI looks simple and stylish at the same time. They also have an iPhone app launched recently.Criticker - This website does not have an option of entering the date you watched a movie, neither can you add a tag with the movie. A mini-review of maximum 500 characters can be written. Rating the movie on a scale of 0-100 is possible. It suggests movies that you may like based on the ratings you have given to movies. Following people is not possible here, though you can view the list of movies a user has watched. The UI looks clean but isn't too great. iCheckMovies - This is not a completely free website. The free package can be used to add 5000 movies. Though this is a lot, it still restricts a user at some point of time. You can connect with your favorite friends here too. Again, there is no way of adding a date to the movie watched. UI looks fine. There is a progress tab, where you can see what kind of movies have you watched and what percentage of famous movies does it cover. You can compare yourself to some other user to check compatibility. Rinema - Only website where signing up via Facebook/Twitter was possible. Adding a date is possible here. Connecting to other people is also possible. You can rate a movie on a scale of 1-5. UI looked really cool. You can create your own lists. I loved 2 websites from the above list, which are Letterbox and Rinema, since it gives be an option to add dates as well. Hope this gives a proper summary of all answers.
