What Name You Like Better Rachel Or Julia

Julia, meaning "belonging to Jupiter", or, even more literally, "belonging to the heavenly father", is a traditional name with a 2,500-year-old history, so it should be paired with other traditional, conservative names. For euphony, they should not begin with a vowel or with another J, or echo the oo middle or the a ending. What do you think of the name Julia?

I love the name Julia. It's a timeless, classic name that will never go out of style. I know quite a few Julia's, but it really isn't that common anymore. Sure, it is and always will be a well known name, but it's a lot less common than other names similar in style like Olivia, Charlotte, Amelia, etc. Chances are, a child named Julia today wouldn't share her name with very many people her age. All the Julia's I know are quite successful so I think of someone very bright and mature when I hear the name. Also, somebody very strong and hard working. Julia from Parenthood comes to mind. Maybe blonde/dirty blonde hair, blue eyes. Pretty with a bright smile and very classy.

These days there are many famous chefs in UK however still less in numbers because women have been welcomed in this industry only recently. It was unthinkable for a woman to do such job even in the 1980s. Women were considered to be TV cookd, not chefs. TV shows like MasterChef helped people to overcome sexism and class systems and the mindsets of women have also developed. Today we don’t feel our identity is defined by whether we are serving a man or not. We know we can choose any career we enjoy and we can ace it just like men can. But to achieve this men’s attitude had to change first. Fortunately there are great male chefs out there free of sexism who not only invite women into the kitchen but see the benefits of having both sexes in the working culture. We are noticing more women are coming in but naturally the ratio is uneven since it is still a new territory. The media is also sexist and often promote the male chefs. It is harder for highly skilled female chefs to get credited in the sexist culture of media where as a man gets immediate credentials. The media like to see women as Nigella Lawson; middle class and sexy lady cooking to keep the male audience glued to the TV. Having saying that we must not overlook the talent Nigella Lawson has and it is not her fault that the media wants to tone down her culinary talent into a slutty chef every now and then.We had only male judges in UK Masterchef until now but this year Monica Galetti is included. We have the Two Fat Ladies , Angella Hartnett, Rosemerry Shrager and many more. United States have globally known chefs and TV chefs like Ina Garten, Padma Lakshmi, Rachel Ray, Julia Child and so many more. You ask the question because you are oblivious of the famous female chefs and the contributions of women in the culinary industry. It is a mindset we have. So just research on female chefs; you will be surprised how established we are even though we are up against a sexiist and ungrateful world!

checking with www.behingthename.com, as well as what does my name mean. Isabella has a meaning of God is my oath. Its usage is Italian, German, English, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Dutch, Romanian. Latinate form of Isabel. This name was borne by many medieval royals including queen consorts of England, France, Portugal, the Holy Roman Empire and Hungary, as well as the powerful ruling Queen Isabella of Castile (Properly called Isabel)Popularity in the US was pretty much not used from 1880 to 1948. Then the name use started to take off in 1990 with about .01%. Then in 2010 reached a peak of 1.17%! But has fallen off to about .805% in 2017.I think it is a beautiful name for a girl. And it would be a great tribute to her great grandmother.

WDYT of these German Girl's Names?

I'd love to honor my grandma and grandpa's heritage. My mom is only 75% german and I'm really only about 35% so it's not that big of a deal, but my Grandma was the only one of my grandparents that I was close to. All the others died before I was born. I don't want to use my grandma's name, Margaret because it's my name too. It's also my other grandma's, two of my aunts, and two of my cousins names.

Please either rate or comment about the names below.
Some of my favorite German girls names are:

No. Not at all. Not in any way shape or form. Have you seen “Wonder Woman” yet? Only two American films under her belt and every indication points to Gal’s charisma and star power.Sandra and Julia have not been big box office draws for a while now. The last “Star Wars” entry made over $200m in about a week worldwide. I’ld say that proves the lead actresses abilities to pack in an audience… even with a lackluster script. The actressss sited above were not just set decoration or arm pieces for male leads, but headlined the films they were in. Both actresses made films that had record breaking box office receipts that far surpassed any films by the two actresses you mentioned.Truth is, with very few exceptions, female actors tend to have fairly short film careers compared to thier male costars… and it has been that way for almost 100 years of fin making.
