How old do you have to be to buy OTC medicine in the U.S.?
Sorry folks. A few years ago my tiny 18 or 19 year old parked her car in front of our local chain pharmacy and got some feminine supplies, chocolate and a bottle of flintstones vitamins. She had a store discount card AND her college ID and her license. The cashier would NOT believe her and didn’t allow the vitamin purchaseNeedless to say, mom had to stomp in and speak to management, not to mygo get her purchase from the supermarket across the parking lotThere are drugs that should be restricted; in some states anything with pseudoephedrine is signifier at the pharmacy; too bad nobody actually reads the memos
What over the counter meds will get me high?
Absolutely nothing and don't try robo-tripping. Even if you're smart enough to buy the pills that are Diphenhydramine or DXM only, it just makes you a dumbass. But don't take my word for it, I'm just a stoner.

The best stuff to take with DXM is those orange Robitussin Cough Gels-they are pure DXM, and they come in a little white bottle. You don't want to take something with any other ingredient, because you have to drink a lot to get a good buzz, and you don't need that other crap in there. Also, there is a Zicam cough spray that is pure DXM, a high concentration too, in a little pink bottle. Its nasty but it works. Be safe.

Can I get high from Cough Syrup at my house with DXM in it but?
also as an active ingredient it has guaifenesin. Will I still get high? And how many teaspoons of this should I take too get high? And also I take a mood stabilizer for Bipolar Disorder but its also an anti convulsant for people to not have seizures for epilepsy will that effect anything? What happens if you overdose on cough medicine?
Codeine cough medicine can kill you, via respiratory failure. Your lungs will be as sedated as your mind, and they’ll stop pumping. If you have a nonfatal overdose, you may just get very sick for a bit, vomit, or remain unconscious for a while.Cough medicine containing dextromethorphan is less fatal. upwards of 2500 mg can be taken before risking death, and a very strong trip arises at 600–800. Any given bottle of DXM-containing cough syrup will likely have a max of 500–800mg in it.An overdose on this will mostly have you tripping out for a day (a couple days if it’s DXM polisterix, found in Delsym). This is a dissociative psychedelic, and has a very heavy body load. It will be an intense experience, but more than likely non-fatal, nor permanently damaging.

No, they don't and you do not always need to sign for these drugs, Coricidin, Robotussin etc... CVS does not make you sign but you must be 18

There are tons of cough medicines without acetaminophen sold over-the-counter in every country. (Possibly not North Korea or something, but basically every country.)In most countries, you can ask a pharmacist.In the US, dextromethorphan (DXM) is the most common cough medicine, it is over-the-counter, and it is mixed with guaifenesin about 80% of the time. Robitussin DM is a very common brand of DXM, but the store brand will likely be right next to it on the shelf, chemically identical, and cheaper.In the US, dextromethorphan is (sadly) mixed with acetaminophen very often. Specifically, NyQuil and DayQuil almost always contain acetaminophen, and Triaminic and Coricidin often contain acetaminophen. Robitussin sometimes contains acetaminophen, but not the most popular Robitussin products.I could believe that a grocery store or gas station would not carry acetaminophen-free cough medicine in the US. However, a real pharmacy will definitely have it, and they will have a pharmacist you can ask. A real pharmacy in Mexico or almost anywhere in Europe will also have such cough medicines. India and South Africa have some very bad pharmacies, so again, I wouldn't count on it. (They also have very good pharmacies, it just depends on which one. Certain countries seem to regulate pharmacies better.)

Over the counter cough medicines generally use dextromethorphan as the active ingredient to suppress your cough. There is another ingredient, guaifenesin, that helps you actually clear your lungs and some cough medications have only this. Two other options are to try the antihistamine, Benedryl (diphenhydramine), or to try honey with or without lemon or a bit of hard liquor. If you have someone prescribing for you then your options are much greater. In general though, dextromethorphan is probably the best place to start. In particular, in the US, there is a brand called Delsym which lasts 8–12 hours and is very effective.
Are these drugs safe to mix? (OTC)?
First of all, it's safe to take everything together IF YOU ARE SICK, which is having symptoms like sneezing, running nose, coughing, allergy, headache or fever at the same moment. Loratadine is used to cease your allergy condition (inflammation), or stop your mucous secretion and nasal congestion. DMX is an antitussive, which it suppresses your coughing condition. I believe that there are some cough syrup in market even mix this two ingredients above in order to suppress WET COUGH. So they are safe to take in together. Paracetamol, has less interaction with the drugs above, so i think overall it is safe to take them together.
