Are you naturally good at video games?
It's a combination of the two. I think some people are born at being good with video games. It's a read and react thing. Some people are just better at reading and reacting to what's happening on the screen. Of course, video games tend to do the same thing over and over again without really changing or if it does change, it's just slightly different, so after playing the game a bunch of times, you kind of know what's going to happen next so you're better prepared. Dragon's Lair is an excellent example of this. You can go through the entire game without dying if you remember when and what buttons you need to press. I think I have a combination of the two. I can pick up a game and get pretty good at it. And after dying an X number of times, I start to learn the pattern and get past it.
What makes a good video game good and a bad video game bad?
It really depends on the game and on the people playing.Some will say that graphics are the most important part in a game (I’m among them to a certain extent). Others will criticize the lack of quests and storylines. Other will want more combat, whereas some will look for a more peaceful setting (not usual but it happens). Why did some people love Oblivion and others prefered Skyrim? Why do so many admit to not liking Fallout because of its postapocalyptic universe?I believe that what will be a certain turn-of in a video game is if it fails to immerse your character in its universe. The Elder Scrolls are a good example of a game that is based on this principle and it works very well.What makes a game immersive? For me, it comes down to music which helps create the atmosphere, graphics (don’t have to be realistic but well done) and the interactions with other NPC’s. Quests that make your character feel important and indispensable also help making your game successful.It’s hard to say if a game is good or bad, its critics are often based on its commercial success, yet video games tend to be quite different. Immersion and smoothness of game play are probably the main focus of the creators.

Why are Koreans so good at video games?
Video games are taken a lot more seriously than other regions of the world. To many of them, they aren’t played just for fun. It’s a way of life. There are tons of PC Bangs (something like Internet cafes) that the public can have access to. They charge an hourly rate for time on the computer. It’s a very nice social outing and a lot of gamers can meet up, but even the casual player can find time to play there.Games are taken so seriously that some of them need a social-security number to play. This is largely due to the Cyber defamation law that they have, which doesn’t allow people to make anonymous comments. I know League of Legends requires it.This sets a massive precedent as well. People locked in a region with such high competitiveness will benefit from itself. Since a lot of games are region-locked, Koreans will play against other Koreans and they can build off each other a lot easier. North America (and Europe to some extent) aren’t on the same level. The environment isn’t as competitive as the Koreans and that’s why you hear that some teams go to Korea for a “Korean boot camp” and other things.Either way, while some may disagree that the competitiveness isn’t as serious, there’s a reason that NA and EU teams go to Korea for boot camp and practice. The environment is completely different.Then again, some of them are just naturally better. Alas, Faker, if only I had a fraction of your skill.

These are a few of the Co-Op games me and my sweetheart have been playing together recently. Granted, while we’re play and watch each other play a variety of other games, these are the one’s we’ve bad the most fun playing together.Portal 2 Co-Op:Without a doubt, Portal is a thinking persons game. With a fair combination of physics, puzzle solving, and messing around with each other, every test chamber holds the potential to make you scratch your head, all while laughing with delight.Left 4 Dead 2:Without a doubt the single most fun zombie killing cooperative experience on the face of the planet, especially since it contains the original L4D campaigns along with it at no extra charge. (Suck it, CoD Zombies) With a heavy emphasis on teamwork and a subtle yet important element of strategy, L4D2 has lasted hundreds of hours for us without getting boring.Unturned:I’ve been recommending this game way too much recently, haven’t I. Alright. Just from a solely cooperative standpoint, Unturned is aesthetically appealing, a delightful little open world zombie survival, setting up a server isn’t too difficult to do, Co-Op survival as a team is rewarding, and the entire experience is free to play.

Amazon is amazing to buy anything cheaper than usual. I buy text books and games off of amazon all the time. Or ebay...they sometimes have big lots and most of the time the games are in great condition.

You can play DOTA 2 or LoL. You can play RimWorld. Try Banished. Maybe Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. The BlackOps series. Cinematic assassinations in the Assassin's Creed series. Not really recommended, Thief. Geometry Dash. World of Tanks or War Thunder or Armored Warfare. RoboCraft. Lemma. Minecraft. There's still plenty more but that's just SOME. I hope this helps.
