What Picnic Food Would You Recommend

What food would you take for a picnic?

What a lovely question! I would take the following which are popular beach food with Malaysians:sardine, tuna, egg or cucumber sandwiches.Fried Chinese rice noodles with prawns, squid, chicken slices, sliced fried eggs, mustard leaves, shredded cabbage, chilies etccurry puffs filled either potatoes or chickensorange butter cake with chocolate frostingnasi lemak ie rice cooked in coconut and eaten with condiments made of anchovies and onion and ground chilies and also cucumber slices and fried peanuts and boiled eggsJelly or agar agar especially the ones made with combination of coconut milk and palm sugar etcDrink - bring a home made punch and for those who take alcohol can bring along beers together with bottles of apple and pear cider.

What inexpensive/free date ideas would you recommend?

Are you talking first dates or early in a relationship, or fun stuff to do with an established couple?Early or first date, don’t do free. Splurge. Spend some money. Yes, you don’t want to set a precedence of high spending, but you also want her to know that she’s worth it.If it’s an established couple thing -Go for a drive to a nearby town - get lost on purpose. Travel the backroads and enjoy the scenery.Take a free class at your library or Home Depot in something neither of you are good at.Play strip chess!Play people-watching bingo in the busiest place you knowBuild a blanket fort or pitch a tent in your backyard Or even the living room - lots of us guys really like camping, but often the womenfolk may not be as excited. This way if you get too uncomfortable or the tent springs a leak, you can always go back inside. Spend the whole night there watching scary movies - this is especially fun near Halloween and/or on a stormy night.Offer to babysit for a friend. Could be useful if plans for marriage/babies is possible in the future.Pretend to be tourists in your own town. Break out the fanny pack.

Would you recommend San Fransisco for a wedding? How much should I expect to spend on a venue?

There’s a HUGE range of wedding venues in San Francisco, ranging from the San Francisco Zoo (one of my best friends got married there) to renting a picnic area in Golden Gate Park to San Francisco City Hall (beyond simply appearing before an officiant there, you can rent a gorgeous venue that’s surprisingly affordable) to the Fairmont Hotel. Cost varies tremendously depending on what you want to pay for the venue – but when considering the venue you really need to account for the cost of food. Fancy catering will cost you more than booking a food truck which will cost you more than getting pizzas delivered which will cost you more than a pot luck picnic. Here’s the single biggest catch: outside weddings are going to be cheaper than inside weddings, and San Francisco is notoriously unpredictable when it comes to weather and temperature. You could plan a glorious June wedding in Golden Gate Park… only to have it be 50ºF and foggy all day. Unless you know & love San Francisco for what it is, I would not recommend planning an outdoor wedding there. The other problem that you’ll be foisting onto out-of-town guests are the cost of hotel rooms and the cost & logistics of transportation to and from your chosen venue. The City of San Francisco is not a cheap place to visit. You and your guests could save some money by having the event somewhere else in the San Francisco Bay Area and perhaps taking an excursion to the City on BART or Caltrain if you want SF to be part of your event.

Theres 40 people how many picnic tables will I need?

the average table seats roughly 6-8 people. so i would say you need 7 tables.

What are some cute picnic ideas?

I have been wanting to do something different with my boyfriend and I decided I want to have a picnic.

But I need some ideas like on food.

I'm 18 and he is 19(about to be 20 in June) so no alcohol or anything too "grown up"

I just want it to be fun, you know. We joke around with each other a lot and have lots of fun no matter what we do, which I would hope so after dating for 4 years right.

Thank you :)

What is the most gourmet picnic imaginable?

I know this question asks for the most exotic food, but I can't give you ideas going in that direction. For a romantic picnic I would concentrate on the trappings.Bring a vase and a rose (to place at the center of the 'table'), rose petals to strew across the table cloth, a couple candles, china, silverware and crystal wine glasses. For a romantic picnic you need foods that are easy to eat without causing a mess, but still picnic food.  Pack, to make sandwiches, sliced sautéed portobello mushrooms, prosciutto, sliced challah bread (Italian bread is too difficult to chew), figs, and a jar of Dijon mustard. For a salad prepare, at home, mozzarella, tomatoes and basil with oilve oil. And, of course a good bottle of Zinfandel which will go well with your prosciutto. For dessert, I would bring some cut-up fruits and berries.Don't forget the salt and pepper in shakers.

Drive-in-movie picnic ideas!?!?!?

tI would choose mostly things you can eat with your fingers. Not sure what types of food you prefer, age or budget, but these are some things I would consider:
Do you have a small cooler or you can put some ice in a double plastic bag and put things that need to stay cool in a container and put in the ice.
Sushi
Shrimp cocktail
Cut sub sandwiches into smaller sized and secure these with a cocktail toothpick
Make your own sandwiches and cut on the diagonal
You could make a pasta salad, though you can't usually eat this with your hand
Cut up fruits or chocolate covered strawberries, you could bring a thing of Cool Whip to dip strawberries in as well, just transfer a portion into a smaller container
Caramel popcorn or your favorite flavor
Junior Mints
Favorite drinks and water
Don't forget things like napkins or paper towels, handi wipes are always a great idea too and plates, any utensils you need, and I would take the wisps toothbrush

Where can I find the best food in Annecy, France?

Go to the market on Sunday and buy some sausage, cheeses and a baguette. There's also a little stand that sells olive spreads to try out. I'd suggest hiking to the castle nearby and at the bottom of the hill you'll find a secluded spot that overlooks all of Annecy. I always preferred taking food to go so I could explore the town. If you're looking for a restaurant, Le Napoli served the best pizzas. My favorite was the four cheese pizza.
