What Position Do You Sleep In

Can you sleep in any position?

I really don’t know the exact answer to your question, so I'm going to give you my opinion.I personally can sleep in any position. Some nights I sleep on my left, then other on my right. I rarely sleep on my back, although if I'm sore that's the best option. And sleeping on my stomach is the most comfy. I guess it just depends on the kind of person you are and your preferences, because I have friends that can only sleep on one side or their stomach or back. While their are some like me that can just do whatever. Also, did you know theirs a new bed designed to were you lay back into it standing and it takes shape around your body? Its really expensive, but it helps you stand up when you sleep and there are apparently medical benefits to that. Or that is what I read somewhere. Anyways, hope this helps answer your question, but again, this is all opinion.

I curl on my left side, but I'm weighted down by a cat on each side, so I don't move a lot.

In what position do you sleep in your bed?

i fall sleep with two pillows under my head.. facing out to the rest of my room(this would put me on my left side).. with both my legs bent up to my body.. the left leg more bent than the right leg. and my fiancee is cuddling me. (spooning lol)

when i wake up in the morning im usually on my tummy with my arms crossed under my head with my head facing my fiancee(to the right). if im not like that, im in the same position i went to sleep in.

In which position do you sleep at night?

Usually on my side.  If I sleep on my back, I open my mouth too much, dry out my throat, and sometimes snore.  Sleeping on your stomach is considered to be hard on the lower back, however, I did have an orthopedist tell me that some people successfully sleep on their stomach by using a large pillow under their chest/stomach.  This ortho also told me that he thought the shoulder injury I have, would not bother me while sleeping on that shoulder, if I slept on a memory-foam bed.  Not sure I want to try that, have heard the foam beds are too hot.

What's the best position to sleep in?

I've heard before that you should always sleep on your back, no matter what. I've also heard that this is a very poor idea, because it's not good for the back, and that you should sleep on your right side (sleeping on the left can damage the heart). And I've heard that sleeping on one's stomach is the worst thing a person can do. Can someone please clear this up- which position should a person sleep in to insure optimum health and well-being? And does anyone have any thoughts on pillows (is it better to sleep with or without one)?

Thanks!
