What Problems Do I Have With My Teeth Photos

Should I get braces (photos) :)?

Your teeth aren't that bad! Getting braces is more a thing to do if you are self conscious of your teeth. I had a gap and I was really self conscious about it so I got braces. If you're not happy with your teeth you should get braces :)

How do your teeth look after braces? Do you have any photos?

After having braces your teeth should look straighter. Braces also improve your bite, prevent problems such as increased plaque and bacteria in teeth and gums, and ensure there are no bone issues.

What's wrong with my rabbit's eyes? *Photos*?

http://s633.photobucket.com/albums/uu54/...

She's a house rabbit, so her cage is cleaner than an outdoor hutch.
Uhm..
- The liquid coming from her eyes has no colour, and looks just like tears..
- Around the bald patch on her right eye it's really dry and scaly..
- I think that she's been scratching it and that's what's making it bald and dry.
- I've been cleaning it with water and a cotton bud, and it's much more tidier than it was (The dry skin must have clogged her hair together, and that made the hair around her eye really hard and dry)
- Oh and her bedding is hay FYI (not wood shavings cause I knew that could irritate her breathing and eyes).
- Oh and the area (Idk what you call it; the place where you put eyeliner?) is slightly red.

Overall, she doesn't show any pain or discomfort, but I know what rabbit's can hide it so that might mean nothing...

If this doesn't improve then we'll take her to the vets, but I just wanted to know if anyone knew what I should do, and if there is any cream that I can buy to treat it?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Two of my teeth are crooked. What should I do?

Get off Quora and make an appointment with a dentist. Simple as that. I'm saying this not to mock you. Only a dentist can offer you solutions to correct the issue that you have and that too, only after seeing you in person. Not before that. Not by just looking at photos. Or xrays. The reason why your teeth are crooked can only be understood after seeing you in person. And a solution can only be arrived at after understanding the reason for the problem. Not before.See a dentist. All the best.

Decaying teeth?

well, here are my answers to your questions.

1) yes, by the looks of those photos, your affected teeth should be fixable...but to be 100% sure, your dentist might need to take some x-rays to determine the extend of those decays. If the decay is not very deep, white fillings (composite fillings) will be done, but if the decay is deep root canal might be needed. I suggest you to go asap, don't wait until the decay go so bad that all your dentist could do is either root canal or extraction on those teeth. Coz by then it will become very costly.

2)As far as any problems down the road, I would say not much I could think of if you get it fix by the dentist soon. White fillings if done well could last about 10 years. One thing you got to watch out is if you plan to have your teeth whitened, do it before you have those teeth filled/fixed.

3) This is my personal observation, that I think you might be interested for your futher use. I have notice from your photos that all of your decay areas are near the gum-line. That indicates your toothbrushing technique didn't fully cover those areas well enough, resulting in plaque accumulation. Try to use floss and pay more attention in cleaning those areas when you are brushing your teeth. You can also ask your dental hygenist or dentist to show you how to remove plaque in those areas.

Hope it helps!

Will your teeth fall out if you don't eat?

No. Teeth have roots to hold themselves in place. Look at fossils of skulls, for instance.

I'm very worried about my dental health, what can I do? (Photo)

Adults should brush their teeth at least twice a day, preferably after each meal and before going to bed.  Flossing is also an essential part of an adult’s daily oral hygiene regimen. Regular brushing and flossing can prevent unpleasant conditions, such as plaque and bad odor. However, over-brushing or flossing may result in mouth bruises and bleeding, which can lead to infections. Also, simply seeing a dentist twice a year will help decrease risks, even if you have no natural teeth and have dentures. Professional care helps maintain the overall health of the teeth and mouth, and provides for early detection of pre-cancerous or cancerous lesions.A few other things to consider:Drink fluoridated water and use fluoride toothpaste; fluoride provides protection against dental decay at all ages. Avoid tobacco. In addition to the general health risks posed by tobacco use, smokers have seven times the risk of developing periodontal disease compared to non-smokers. Limit alcohol. Drinking a high amount of alcoholic beverages is a risk factor for oral and throat cancers. Alcohol and tobacco used together are the primary risk factors for these cancers.I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have additional dental health questions and I’m happy to answer them.
