What Professions Will Be Important In The Coming Days Of Islam

According to Islam, what are the signs of judgement day?

It shouldn't be too surprising that, being Abrahamic religions, Christianity and Islam share many fundamental eschatological similarities, including the signs of judgement day. The coming of an Antichrist-style figure (heralded by trumpets), a series of earthquakes and other natural disasters. False prophets, sowing dissent. Some sort of lunar (and possibly solar) eclipse. People turning away from the True Faith, and so on.

There are over a hundred such signs, some of which are believed by the Sunni Muslims, some by the Shia Muslims, and some by both. Some are very specific geographically, such as Jesus returning and killing the Antichrist at the gate of Ludd. Or a fire in the Hijaz. Others are specific numerically, such as the fact that the number of men will drop away so that there are 50 women for each man, or exactly 70,000 Jews will follow the Antichrist.

In Islam there are more earthly signs, rather than Christianity's spiritual "seven bowls of God's anger": a war between the believers and the nonbelievers, for example. Trials in households. Illegal sexual intercourse. Lots of bad stuff on earth, sown by us humans, not just by God.

However, in the end, both Christian and Islamic eschatological teachings promise an earthly "resurrection" and a return to a happier time. (Phew.)

I hope that answers your question.

What is the most noble profession?

Firefighters. Someone who doesn't have to take a life to save a life yet puts his or her own life on the line while on duty. Soldiers and cops come in second. They kill to "protect" and with the way shit is going lately they aren't very protective these days. Debate all you want but a teacher gives knowledge, that's great, but if the person being taught is killed it's invaluable. Cops kill to "save" others or themselves. Soldiers kill and are injured because they are told what to do by the U.S. government a.k.a the biggest terrorists in the world. So....you think about that...

Will there still be demand for Chartered accountants in India in future?

Hello there ! Since your interest lies in the future (assuming after 5-10 years) of CA, let me answer your question in two prospects :1) Future CA demand in India- Undoubtedly, there will always be a rising demand for CA professionals due to growing number of companies in India. However, this also means that you need to always be competent in your career to grab better opportunities in the future since the companies will hire only the best professionals.2) Mediocre CA jobs- Since many tasks of a typical CA is a routine job with some procedural working on a given assignment, there is always a room for automation. With the software companies emerging in the financial sector, chances are high that CA professionals will be seen using sophisticated software in the near future (which will obviously cut down jobs for the mediocre ones).Point of verdict- The profession of CA is highly promising in the near future provided you keep your mind open to different technologies and be a learner for a lifetime which will also help you to be a step ahead of others.Hope this helped. Have a great career ahead !!

Why does Islam repeatedly mention the rewards of martyrs and scholars of Islam instead of other noble professions such as scientists?

A lot of emphasis in Quran is on seeking knowledge, wisdom and utilising knowledge for betterment of society. However, martyrdom is emphasised because it was a test to differentiate between who really believes in message of Islam or who are hypocrites and just do things which are convenient to them. It is a test to segregate serious followers from hypocrites.I would like to emphasise that in no situation martydom involved just going out their and fighting for money and non sense reasons. Quran explicitly forbids spreading corruption on land. Here corruption involves useless wars for ulterior motive. The martyrdom specifically was seeked for Battle of Badr in most verses. If you know anything about Battle of Badr you would know that 313 muslims fought in it against more then 1000 pagan fighters and were victorious. It was during this time martyrdom was seeked. And this war happened after 12 years Muslims suffered in Mecca because of their belief. Then they were forced to migrate to Medina because they were being persecuted. Here martyrdom was a test for muslims and it was a small muslim population who fought. If they would have lost Islam would have been lost. To protect Islam and its message muslims were encouraged to fight. It separated hypocrites from muslims and the ones who remained had strong, unshakable faith on Islam and Mohammed(pbuh). It was this faith combined with help from Allah that made them victorious. This was real 300 and not the ones you hear about Spartans.
