What Psychological Concepts Are There In The Movie Flight

What is the concept and story of "fight club" movie?

On the surface, fight club is all about bare chested men fighting with each other in an underground club but when you dive into the philosophy of the movie- it is much more about men beating the crap out of each other. The movie is about how “we” have succumbed to the falsities of the world and even sold our souls to the various corporations of the world. How we are running in a rat race - showing up for the same dead end jobs to earn enough money to spend on crap that “we” necessarily doesn’t even require.SPOILER ALERT HERE (please don’t read further, if you haven’watched this movie.)Tyler Durden played by Brad Pitt is a figment of imagination of the unnamed insomaniac character of Edward Norton who in turn brings out a side of him that is rebellious to the ideas and the notions of this consumer centric world.Through the fight club, it’s members -largely frustrated white and blue collar workers gave a big fuck you to the mainstream ideologies of this world. The imaginary Tyler is the epitome of the free spirited man who sees through the bullshit of consumerism of this world whereas Norton’s character is ‘us’- the men and women stuck in this notion of job security to earn money to pay for our student, house and car loans. The core message of this movie is that all of us have been tricked into believing that our lives are governed by the - clothes we wear, shoes we put on, car we drive, house we live in and the money we all have in our accounts.Just have a look at some of the masterful dialogues here and you will see the message the ditector wanted to convey.Images taken from Google.

What do evolutionary theory and evolutionary psychology have to say about morality?

Why are we primates a social species for example? Do evolutionary theory and evolutionary psychology satisfactorily account for human altruism? If so, how has it been shown?

With present technology, can we really send a person to Mars?

I'm a space exploration enthusiast, but I've had doubts about this. Looks like roughly two years minimum. With all the supplies alone needed for life support, the ship would have to be huge. Then there are the questions about psychological health, etc. I'm pessimistic, but am I missing something?
