What is Brandy and in what section of the store can i find it in?

An alcoholic liquor distilled from wine or fermented fruit juice.

Cognac, Kirsch are two examples of brandies.

I don't know if you can find it in the supermarket. It depends on the laws in your state. If you can, it will be with the wines. If you can't, you'll have to go to a liquor store for it.

How do 640 acres lay out within a section of land?

Edited to correct error saying a square mile was 160 acres to 640 acres, 160 acres is a quarter section.Under The Public Land Survey System (PLSS) the legal description of one square mile or Section of accrual land is more or less 640 acres. The Sections in the Township nearer the Base Line nearest the Equator will be larger than the sections nearer the North or South pole. There is jog to the west going North from the base line at the top of every town ship to correct the accumulated error for the narrowing of the distance between the longitude line as they go north and any surveying errors. At one time when aerial photography was used by the government to measure land contractors would go out and measure mile with Gunther’s (66 feet, 80 to the mile) to calibrate the maps. All section lines aren't a mile apart and most sections have 625 to 650 acres in them. Roads and ditches come out of the land the farmer has to farm.Public Land Survey System Metes and Bounds are used early in the East going to a more regular system townships as we open the West with surveys before the land way heavily settled in the West. There are other survey system use in the USA. Texas land survey system is a mixture of Metes and Bounds in the East and Spanish in the West,

What do you call the single section of a train?

In the UK:Technically it’s a “vehicle”. A single rail vehicle could be a carriage in a passenger train, a locomotive, a wagon of a freight train, etc.In passenger stock, multiple vehicles form a “unit”, which is the smallest piece of a train that can operate independently. It’ll have a driving cab at each end and will consist of typically 2–6 vehicles semi-permanently attached to each other.Multiple units can be coupled to become a “formation”.

In what section of the supermarket can I find lox?

What section of OS code is related to the kernel?

It depends on what “related to the kernel” means. The kernel itself is what controls the actual use of the hardware (the drivers, filesystems, schedulers, memory allocation, security enforcement…). It can also be split up in a microkernel approach putting things is separate processes/tasks (like drivers, filesystems, security enforcement).Software “related to the kernel” could mean those tools used to configure the kernel, measure performance, analyze logs, maintain security, configure/add/remove users, authorize users, terminate improperly operating processes…So a bit of clarification would help get better answers.

Which section of the newspaper do you read the most? Why?

I love well-written editorial and coloumns.I read them primarily for their language, pun and wit. I skim the content but study the language.I can't just read hurriedly.I need to chew and digest the language.Reading newspapers is not a light task for me anymore.

What are the typical sections of a newspaper?

National, regional and local/community newsNational, regional and local politics/governmentSportsClassifiedsEditorial/opinion/editorial cartoonsEntertainment/celebrity gossipTV listings, comics, crosswords and other puzzles, horoscopes, moviesBusiness, finance, marketsAnnouncements, community calendarDeath notices/obituariesWeddings, birthsWeatherHealth, educationSociety?Cooking, gardening, travel, home DIYCrime report (This is becoming increasingly popular and many areas have separate newspapers which are devoted to police calls, arrests, inmates and details not included on TV broadcasts or daily newspapers.I worked for a variety of publications (college, daily, weekly newspapers as well as organizational newsletters ) in the 1980s and ’90s so this list is based primarily on newspapers during that time (and on my rapidly eroding memory). I’m not sure if any newspapers still include a society page/section but I would add a technology section in its place for social media, information technology, computer news,I keep adding to this list (with the exception of police/crime, the items toward the end of the list were initially forgotten). I think it's time to stop staring at it and send it. Thanks for making me THINK on this early Saturday morning.I got my journalism degree when there were no gray areas, liberal or conservative “spin” was restricted to the opinion /editorial pages and if you were in search of “fake news” you bought a copy of the Enquirer and were well aware of what you were being fed.I’m not sure when “just the facts” journalism began disappearing but it seemed to begin with broadcast news. Cable news channels paved the way for subjective, biased reporting and the requirements of observable, measurable, verifiable content began to fade. I was taught a very specific formula for news stories which left ZERO room for opinions and special interest groups: 5W +H were the lead and usually included in the first paragraph if relevant. Who, What, When, Where, Why and How were clear and factual. A well written article was written so that readers could get all the critical information from the first paragraph or two. That's my mini rant. If I keep typing I will end up … well, to paraphrase Lou Ferrigno, “you wouldn't like me when I'm angry. “Enjoy the weekend, folks!
