What Seems To Be Going On Here

Why does sometimes it seems like that everything is going very fast in our mind but in real life it is normal...?

I have ALSO FEEL THE SAME THING MANY TIME, IT FEELS WEIRD, I HAVE SEEN A POST RELATING TO THIS, SO I AM POSTING THAT HERE.Fast feeling" Change in time perception.Figured I'd share my story and see if anyone smarter then me has ever heard of this before.I have this really weird thing that has been happening to me for years I call it a "fast feeling". It usually happens when I'm concentrating really hard and very focused on something.Example: reading a book, drawing, working a spreadsheet at work etc. What I experience is a change in the perception of time and increase in my auditory capabilities. Everything feels like it's happening way faster and louder then it should. If I'm typing it feels like it's triple the speed and sounds like I'm pounding the keys. Walking feels like speed walking and I find myself trying to slow down. Things I never noticed or heard before like a clock across the house in a different room suddenly becomes a loud ticking. If I have the tv or music playing it sounds like someone turned it way up.I've googled the symptoms or the phrase "fast feeling" and how found many people who experience the same thing but never have I found an answer in any forum as to what causes it.For anyone interested here are some more things I've noticed about it. Curiosity has caused me to start my own self study and I try to pay attention to the little details every time it happens now.Started happening when I was 10-12. (28 now) I tend to get this foggy feeling at the back of my head right before it fully hits me. Often happens when I'm concentrating or focused. More likely to happen when late at night or tired. Happens very randomly but maybe 2-5 times a year. Only lasts about 5-15 min (15 min would be long). I'm not scared or anxious when it happens. Things feel and sound different but I know I'm also aware I'm moving at normal speed. No dizziness or vertigo or visual hallucinations, Big audio and time perception changes. No drug or alcohol influence needed. No headache pain.Things that I don't think it is: Alice in wonderland syndrome (no size distortion) Panic attack (no fear element, sometimes I'll just sit back and experience it like you would a short high)Would love to see a study done on it since I'm obviously not the only one but it's so infrequent and randomly occurring I think it would be hard to test.SOURCE; REDDIT.

Which one is the correct sentence? "It seems to be working fine", "It seems working fine", or "It seems to work fine"?

Seems must be followed with an infinitive; working is wrong here. The difference between the other two is a difference of meaning. One of the applications of the present progressive is to speak of something ongoing in the presence of the speaker and listener. Take the context of a machine that has just been repaired. If the repair is successful, the best choice for the alternatives in the question would be “It seems to be working fine (now).” It would be odd to say “”It seems to work fine” in that context. The misnamed simple present tense is used to speak of generalities and universal truths. Take the context of a new machine that has just been installed. In that context, the “simple present” would be used to express satisfaction that the machine was a good purchase: “It seems to work fine.”Now take the context of a service call where the technician fails to see a problem. The technician might appropriately say either “It seems to work fine” or “It seems to be working fine,” because the technician might choose to express either as a general truth about the machine (“simple present”) or an observation about an ongoing present reality (present progressive).

Trouble with logarithm that's probably going to make me seem really stupid?

so here is what you are supposed to solve... Log base 5 x^4 = 2.5 ...... so i changed it to exponential .. 5^2.5=x^4 and simplified to 56=x^4..... now what ? how do i get rid of the 4 and did i even do that right? if it were a 2 you just square root each side but it's a four! :( help please

Is the US Stock market likely to keep going up from here.?

At these levels in the market it seem the RSI is indicative that its slightly overbought. Many other indicators are setting off alarm bells for me as well. So what is the opinion of some of you other investors out there?
