Do Democrats actually think it is a good idea to run Hillary Clinton again in 2020?
I certainly hope not. Many believe she would indeed be a great president, but unfortunately, there are far too many americans with irrational hatred of Hillary. Propaganda has a death grip on the voters, primarily due to ignorance and general incompetence of the american voters. The vast majority of their opinions are formed based on lies and hate and other republican rhetoric. Its just not worth trying to compete against irrationality at that extreme.Hillary is like America’s Mom. And America finally hit 18 and wants to move out of the house and just doesnt want to hear from Mom any more, for a while. America wanted a break from Mom. But Mom was calling every day, saying ‘eat your broccoli’ etc etc etc. And then Hillary says shes running for president, and americans thought: “mom wants to move into my new house!”And they lost their minds and went on a childish rampage, and elected their meanest bulkiest friend instead, just to send the message:GO AWAY MOM. LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A BIT, YA? JUST LET ME GET SOME TIME AWAY FOR ONCE! IM HANGING OUT WITH MY FRIENDS NOW, THEY ARE RUDE, YOU WOULDNT LIKE THEM, GO AWAY !ILL SEE YOU AT CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!!!*slam door*This is what happened in america.This is why Hillary lost.I sincerely hope Hillary just cuts her losses and does something she enjoys for the rest of her life.Mom ….. its time to relax, and let the kids manage their own lives.
If Trump claims to be making America great again, how can his actions that are morally wrong lead to a greater good?
Morally wrong does not apply exclusively to one’s sexual proclivities. Trump acts immorally:When he mocks the disabled.When he mocks a victim of assault.When he mocks the parents of a fallen soldier, while claiming to love the military.When he mocks the parents of a fallen soldier because they believe differently from him.When he claims success where his failure is so blatant, as in the case of Puerto Rico’s hurricane damage.When he claims family values then takes children away from the parents trying to find sanctuary for their family.When he disregards court orders to reunite these families.When he mocks the disabled while being unable to walk with world leaders to honour those we lost 100 years ago.When he wanders in front of a reigning monarch because he is too self-involved to observe the most basic protocol.When he denies health care and basic education to the very people who would walk barefoot over broken glass if he asked them to.When he inflames the imagined threat from “the other”.Moral behaviour transcends the bedroom.Can this lead to good? I guess that’s for you to determine.
What has Hillary accomplished during her time as SOS that may have solved any terrorist issues in the Middle East ?
Terrorism is not her main objective as SoS as other posters have pointed out.A better question really is what did she accomplish as SoS that has had meaningful impact and indicates she will be a strong president if elected. There is precious little to point to that would be supportive of her being a strong president if we judge her from her time as SoS, in my opinion. The middle east is a mess from a policy that was weak and at times contradictory. Putin is on the march. China shows little progress over that time and continues to flex its muscles.People disagree about the Iran deal. If you look at national opinion polls citizens of the US are overwhelmingly against it. The way it was conducted and negotiated, the way the current administration circumvented our treaty laws and the subsequent discovery of up to $2billion in transfers to the Iranians may well be indicative of how her administration would operate - that is a continuation of our current administration’s behavior, acting in ways at times that are in defiance of the people’s wishes.From that perspective I would say her foreign policy performance was poor and we could project that her governing would be from an elitist “i know better than you” position.
When will America see Trump as the fraud he is?
Sadly, many Trump supporters never will recognize his fraud. The worse things look for Trump, the more convinced they are that the “conspiracy” against him is even larger and more complex than previously believe possible.BUT I’ve noticed an increasing number of once-proud Trump supporters slowly slinking into the shadows. I saw one of those acquaintances over the holidays - a guy who had multiple Trump signs in his yard during the 2016 elections - who no seems to have forgotten his support of Trump and wants to talk about anything else. “I’m tired of hearing people talk about politics! They’re all crooks, just like Hillary,” he said.
